^^^^ thats d problem, people are no longer ready to stick to one person. There is always backup. So in order not to be disappointed, you just have to let em do what they want cos when you place restrictions on them thats when they ll do worse without you knowing.

^^^even if she has a walk in wardrobe it ll never be enough. Nothing wrong with having her own room but you can remove the bed in hers so that there ll be only one bed in your room. If you dont want to sleep separatly.

Its a must o...cant stand seeing her belongings lying here n there. It itches me whenever I see a woman applying make up....I dont know why but it annoys me funny enough i admire it when its on a womans face esp when its applied mildly......so for us to live in peace she gat to have her room where she can keep her makeup containers and dressing table n all other stuff.

While in boarding school there was a night my friend n I decided to eat cabin flakes. We waited till after lights out n got up around midnight when everyone had slept. Just as we where concluding the preparation no our down bunks. We heard a very loud screech that sent a terrible chill down my spine. It was like dat of an animal or something n we thought it was coming for us because we were awake...my friend just pushed plates n beverage under his bed while I just jejely lay down on my bed whispering hot prayers for my life. I didnt move a muscle till the nxt morning.

I dont see any wrong in allowing your babe to go on a date with her toasters as long as you are not engaged. But from the moment she agrees to be your wife it brcomes a different ball game. If she wants to go on a date, she is free to do so. In the same vein the guy should be free to take who so ever he wants out on a date without her raising any eyebrows.....but I feel that the partner should be informed that he or she ll be going on a date with someone else before hand.

Isnt it easier to let her know that her calls put you at risk of losing your job.. she could probably call in the evenings when you re though with work. After telling her this if she calls during work hours, then dont pick. Better still you can switch off during work hours to help you concentrate.

She maybe scared that dating him would ruin their friendship. ...which is usually true cos in doing so they would argue, have disagreements nd may eventually breakup. Then the friendship is ruined. If he is serious he should gice her some space like staying away totally after a little while try again. He should bear in mind dat he might loose her totally. That would mean that she doesn't love him enough to keep him. But I believe if she misses him. She would re evaluate her stance....

My kid sister had a similar issue, she got accustomed to ac as a baby. When they tried to stop it she developed breathing problems and her ribs began to expand...but it stoped as she got older n got used to normal conditions.funny enough she is the only one who has never had pneumonia.

That would depend on the kinda people they are and life they want. Personally, I prefer a six bedroom duplex as an ideal home.

njokusboy: The point you are missing is dat ASUU does not represent every lecturer, they are sacking members of ASUU who are still insisting not EVERY lecturer... Note, not all ASUU members are insisting...

how many lecturers ll resume knowing that their four months salaries wont be paid?
60% voted for the strike to end. How many ll vote for their salaries not to be paid? If a lecturer earns 200k thats 800k after four months. If you are the one ll you leave it to waste just like that. think we shoild apply rational reasoning in this matter.

Sacking all lecturers is just like sacking all military men. Even if you re banking on a massive population to refill lost ranks. They can never be at par with the level of training and experience the older ones have. If one country decides to take advantage of your porous formation and attacks you, you re done. Even if you field your new army they are bound to loose. Some ll even throw their guns and run away out of fear and inexperience.

njokusboy: (1) Not all professors and lecturers are part of ASUU, so interview wouldn't be a problem.
(2) The new professors would spring from where the previous ones sprung from besides unionism is about interests, many of the professors would return to their work and ASUU would become irrelevant... They are not too keen to be fired..
(3) ASUU does not accredit universities, the NUC does and they aren't even on friendly terms with ASUU..
(4) Joining ASUU is not neccesary, when this previously unemployed people are now getting paid and enjoying the goods, do you think they would bother about ASUU?

My brother you re truly ignorant of the intricacies involved in making a prof. Who ll approve their publications? In areas where They have only 2 or 3 profressors in Nigera how will they fare? For you to even do masters you must be interviewed not to talk of phd. Who ll read your dissertation n prema facial.?
Mehn now I look at it more critically the govt just took on an unbeatable opponent.

The lecturers have every right to demand for their arrears cos they have unfinished work. They ll still conduct the second semester exams, they ll mark the scripts and graduate the students, they have unfinished work and they should be paid cos they ll finish it before they continue with a fresh session and nobody works for free. If the govt had kept its own end of the bargain this strike will never have happened. If the govt doesnt pay em, they may return but ll begin with a fresh session then what happens to students who have one more semester to graduate. Its gonna be a crazy situation trust me.
