The Aba pictures so far is a bit decent compared to what it used to be but not WOW. It seems that when we try to push our people to do better, we're seen as haters. If you think that what we have in Aba currently is anything to celebrate then you're either uneducated or an Igbo hater. Even Enugu with all it's possitive, i still lambast it from time to time hoping that we can aim for the sky.

Andoni is not the same as Ikwerre or other Igboid groups in Rivers state. It's a different ethnic group altogether. Even his name Uche, is not the same as the Igbo Uche. Do some research and stop sounding ignorant.

I think the reason Messi was left out in the final 3 for both the European Best player and Ballon D'or is because this year in question had the world cup (the biggest footballing event in the world) and the UEFA Champions league (the biggest in europe and the most followed) and he didn't win either of the.

If it was based purely on individual prowess and irrespective of the competition, then he would have won it easily after winning the La Liga and Copa Del rey.

I think these award bodies should always make their criteria known in order to avoid confusion.

I see Modric winning the Ballon Dor anyways. Even if he wasn't gonna win it initially, i think beating Ronaldo to the European best player award will have an influence and i also don't expect Ronaldo to show up for this award either.

if APGA goes one with what it's doing then PDP will definitely lose the presidency to APC. APGA is about to break the back of PDP because most APGA supporters, also support PDP. So, the SE that should have been atleast 90% for PDP will probably split into PDP and APGA. it's even worse if APGA fields a poplar northerner like Kwakwaso, Atiku or Sule Lamido, depending on which oof them fail to clinch the PDP ticket.

I will add that most Igbos of Ebonyi State are actually Idoma especially the Ngbo people. There are too many Idoma names in Ngbo to back that up.

Effium people speaking the same language with Utonkon is not a mystery. The Utonkon people formerly dominated the area known as Abakaliki. Whatever scattered them spread them to places like Ukele in northern Cross River State, Itigidi in central Cross River State and parts of Akwa Ibom. The Utonkon language is spoken by four large communities in 4 Local Councils in Ebonyi State.

Any Igbo person tat believes this kind of falsehood needs to get their heads checked. We can't even claim Igboid groups like Ikwerre and Ika in peace but one idiot will come here and be saying that one Igbo group is originally Igala or Idoma but never, i repeat, never the other way around. The same question should be directed at all Christian and religious denominations. it seems to me that some of us who see ourselves as liberal Christians are not aware that to someone else, specifically atheist that we're just as delusional. So, i don't know what right we have to questions someone else's religious belief.

It is a religious belief and doesn't have to make sense to people who are not of the same belief. They have their reasons for doing what they do no matter how ludicrous it may sound.

Maybe you're talking to the wrong person. I've stayed in Ogbor hill for up to a month and while there, i moved around a lot, to different places.

A lot of Nigerian doctors are so full of themselves. They just want to prescribe drugs or whatever it is, for you without actualy telling you what is wrong you. When you ask, they shut you down like you're asking too many questions. I had a medical problems for years and after moving from Fderal Medical center, LASUTH and a couple of private hospitals, i just decided to heal myself instead. In the government hospitals, it takes a lot of time to really get anything done. I went for consultation, the doctor talked to me rudely and consequently directed me to the Endocrine department and those ones gave me an appointment to come back in 3 months time. I couldn't wait.

Reddington and a couple of other high end hospitals were only interested in collecting my money. Just speaking with a doctor for 5 minutes will deduct 30k for your account and they make sure that they tell you to come back for follow up consultation thereby bleeding your account without profering any solution.

Other cheaper hospitals only know about Malaria and Typhoid. Infact, they should just change the names of their hospital to "Malaria and Typhoid center" instead of hospital. Even after carrying out a test in Clinix (one of the best dignostic centers), the doctor said i should go and redo the test but this time in a diagnostic center that he owns or co-owns.

O boy, no time to waste time. I just decided to do my own research on google based on my symtoms and i'm getting better.

I grew up in Enugu and still drawn to the city 15 years and counting after relocation. The layout of that city is unique. It was planned in such a way that there are many adjoining streets leading to different locations. I still do not know where one expects fly overs in the city centre. I may be wrong but i stand to be corrected but i do not see the need for fly overs within the city centre. Except maybe at Ogbete/Chris Chemist Area to curtail the market madness that was once showed by Mr Spyder. In the absence of fly overs,sculptures,sculptors and water fountains can be erected in strategic locations.
Imagine having this kind of Lion Sculture with water fountain in front of UNEC?
Then such wide and iconioc ones in other strategic locations to complement the one at Rangers Avenue

I don't understand the layout of Enugu city because i've never lived there. But i think flyovers can be built to connect different towns in the city. Like connecting the main town to the surburbs. I don't expect it to be bult inside the city centers. I aso think world class water fountains won't be a bad idea to be situated in strategic places inside the town.

I wouldn't use the word white elephant because it has a negative connotation but yes I agree that Enugu need more Aesthetic projects. Projects that will uplift the image and beauty of the city in the Minds of outsiders and potential investors. The International conference center should be the start for those types of projects.

Enugu has all the basics that a Nigerian city needs. All it needs is to up the ante and it will displace most cities at it's level. Imagine, in addition to the conference center, theme park is built, an Obudu like tourist and A MASSIVE world class hospital. Enugu also needs to built a few highways. it seems Abakiliki is even beating it in this area whivh is one of the features of being a big city.
