And rightly so.

You try to help Nigerians by fighting for their basic rights to life and dignity, using your influence and resources, but they would turn around and accuse you of ulterior motives. They will always suspect you of just trying to replace their oppressors. So they choose those chains over and over.

It’s why some people say Nigeria is not worth dying for. If you die, they will move on so quickly and forget your sacrifice.
