@ op my heart really goes out to you cause i been in your shoes. I know there are some things you left out in your original post, but ill comment on what you have shared. Look, at the end of the day no body can tell you to go or stay. Its a decision you got to make. If you decide to stay look for ways you can survive in the marriage. Like doing your hair, reading books, playing internet poker etc. Try to find a hobby or a job if you dont have one. Also are you still interested in sharing intamacy with your husband?
Even after five years it still possible to get it back if you are wanting to go their with him again. You mentioned getting a boyfriend well when i was in your shoes i wanted to do the same thing, but i realised that it would solve nothing and i had to work on the heart of the problem to repair my marriage. I did this by communicating more with my husband and fighting less. I also started my own business and wow that was a major turning point for us, my husband began to see everything differently and he has changed. Your hubby can also change if its what you want, you just got to work on it, but first you need to work on you. Its not doing your kids any good seeing mommy sad all the time. When i was going through my difficult time i was also sad, but i recovered and found ways of making myself happy, i became my true source of joy and was not looking towards my husband for anything emotional, thats how i regained my sanity and was able to put my house back in order. Look OP you can do it too! Today my home is differnt my hubby is a wonderful father to our son that loves him dearly. Just a few days ago he told me ?you gave me a beautiful son, i did not see it before, but i see it now". I smiled and said thank you. But in my mond im thinking our son is 2 years old and you are just seeing it now. What im trying to say is that it takes some men time to realise and appreciate what they got in their home. No circumstance in marriage cannot be worked out with communication IMO.
Are you in Nigeria? Divorce with 4 kids in Nigeria is not easy!!!!! Especially if you are divorcing looking for love. If you divorcing to have your fun and not look for something serious then thats more realistic in Nigeria. Their are many men that would have you as a girlfriend, but i dont think you will find one to marry you with 4 children in this Nigeria, sorry to say. So before you leave look at the realities of your circumstances and environment.
OP what ever you decide to do, good luck

obasijoy: N/B: in Nigeria foreign wives are not regarded as wives, they are just regarded as ladies Nigeria men used to make money overseas. As in getting their papers and others. That's why most Nigeria men even after having a foreign wife and kids, they must still come back to Nigeria and marry a Nigeria lady and have kids too. They also know that you foreign wives can divorce them anytime and take their kids too, this is b/c most foreign wives wouldn't love to base or relocate to Nigeria with their kids.
Not always the case very bad example/generalization!

kadarva: Update: I have decided to divorce my husband due to cultural differences....I just cannot live with somebody that sends all his wages to his family and let me and the kids suffer. My husband is not happy this but I have already made my decision.
What a decision anyways all the best to you. So i want to ask you how you plan on raising your kids who have inherited your soon to be ex husbands culture. Look i am not Nigerian but i think there are other reason's you are choosing the divorce option. I know marrying a Nigerian is a humongous cultural shock, but i dont beleive its the soul reason behind this divorce. Anyways you are not in Nigeria so most likely you will find someone to move on with and live the life you are looking for. But keep in mind going into a relationship with 3 children also has it chanllenges. Good luck and alll the best to you.

FamilyRe: Which Do I Choose; Marriage Or Job? by agiboma(f): 10:39pm On Jun 06, 2012
@ OP choose the Job, you have documented your feelings well in your original post. I can see the resentment already their if you quit and relocates you gonna resent hubby even more. If you insist on teh wedding look for a comprimise but dont give up everything for the sake of marriage my dear you gonna blame this man for your life misery in the near future and you certainly dont want that type of marriage.
TravelRe: What Is The Most Dangerous Airline In Nigeria? by agiboma(f): 10:34pm On Jun 06, 2012
so lets name the local airline not to fly with:-

(1) Dana
(2) chanchangi
(3) Air Nigeria
(4) Associated
(5) Overland

which one again... plz tell me fast.

i jst booked aero to PH & Arik back to Lagos.

are they among? so that i can cancel them right now; its better to follow Chisco small buses and spend 8-12 hrs on d road plus paracetamol
than to fly with these local airlines that have little or no regard 4 human lives..
yes i know and totally agree, even though chisco and company have made me sleep in bus stops on 2 occasions when i took the bus from Lagos to PH. I vowed i would never do it again ooo. But after this dana something omg, i have changed my mind, the gallop, incredibly long hold up etc, dont see so bad afterall.!!!
HealthRe: Trying To Conceive A Child? TTC by agiboma(f): 10:31pm On Jun 06, 2012
Hebrew woman: @agiboma, yea i take metformin while pregnant but as for progesterone i didnt kne knw i had low progesterone, i jst found out in March. I dont think you can hve low progesterone while pregnant and take metformin for it. Since not evryone wit pcos have low progesterone, metformin can work for them in lowering the risk of miscarriage. But once you have low progesterone in pregnancy (pcos or not), you def need the supplements until the placenta takes over after d first trimester.
Every woman is certainly different i have pcos and have had many miscarriges in the past. My 3rd pregnancy i took progesterone from week 5 onwards to week 14 of that pregnancy and it helped my hcg levels to double every 48 hours. My 4th pregnancy i did not even know i was pregnant i only took metformin up till week 11 when i found out i was pregnant. So for every woman its certainly different.

TravelRe: Peter Waxtan: Pilot Of Dana Airlines' Unlucky Plane by agiboma(f): 9:09pm On Jun 06, 2012
downdraft: I personally knew Capt Peter Waxtan. before I was captain at Spirit Airlines in 2000 I flew with him as his co-pilot. Captain Waxtan had many years of experience flying DC-9's, MD-83's, Air Bus A-320 series. he was a good pilot and would have no problem flying the MD-83 with a simple engine filure. The MD-83 is an easy plane to fly, with almost all manual flight controls. I dont want to seccond guess but on 1 single engine, 147 Pax light fuel load, no problem to handle. I suspect there may have been fuel contamination, causing a dual engine failure. The only other thing that would be difficult to handle would be a Horizontal Stabilizer Jackscrew fairlure or a thrust reverser unlock. One thing for sure, the flight data recorder and the cockpit voice recorder should explain what happend. I am very sad to hear this story, especially about my co-worker but also the many loss of lives from the airplane and the ground. May God bless them all and may the rest in peace.
From an ex, in flight crew member to an active, please take heart. In this country could he not have refused to fly the plane? Is that allowed. I have seen many instances where pilots refused to fly planes for one reason or another and operations control accepted their professional decision. I worked as a flight attendant for many years and that is how it went with the company i worked for. Is it different over here, in Nigeria?

@ op I was a air hostess for a few years and its a great job to travel and meet new people. In Nigeria i dont think their is any course you can take that would better your chances of gaining employment. Just do your best on the interviews smile a lot and be as polite as possible.

Goodluck
