Go and watch the Hong kong revolution and you will see that everyone cannot be at the same level but it is a requirement of everyone, rich and poor, to make sure that their leaders serve them and that they have afuture in their country.
It is even a plus to people like Sowore, a U.S citizen who has all the comfort of life, to put his own life on the line for those of you trapped in the shithole called Nigeria. Show some appreciation because if not for people like that, you all will suffer this nightmare of Nigerian Govt for the next one thousand years. If you cant LEAD, at least be a good FOLLOWER Actually Sowore refused to apply for US citizenship. He is just a resident. That's shows how much he value his Nigerian citizenship. I heard him say he is not a US citizen by choice. |

For the fact that they take it too serious show that the political class and elites are akready scared. It is coming. They cant escaoe it. I have been scared of this time bomb waiting to explode for a long time. Back in the 1990s, seeing the number of jobless that engage in neighbourhood clashes make we wonder how Nigeria is sitting on a keg of gunpowder. That was over 20 yrs ago. Imagine their number have quadrupled. And so is the hardship. |

Naijafull19: In other countries, people pay their power bills on time, don't bypass their meters or bribe DISCO officals to reconenct them, don't steal power, and their power companies are fully privatised, and charge the full price for power, not the 30% of the full price that DISCOS are forced to charge. And subsequently, their power companies have the cash to make improvements.
Their power companies are transparently run, and don't do estimated billing either.
In Nigeria, we insist on paying N2 for something that should cost N2000. Impossicant. And in foreign countries, you only pay for power you use. No estimated billing and getting charged when have no power 24/7. In Nigeria public officials and business elites connive to rob the masses. Here I pay $50 for unlimited internet data and working phone line. Once in Nigeria, I spent N8,000 in just 2days for internet. Wetin be that. Organized robbery. |

BigBashiru: I was in a housing estate somewhere in Nigeria recently. Even within the estate someone was driving one way! Pls tell me wat u want buhari to do about this. There are things that should not be taught to human beings - things like driving against traffic or not littering the environment are common sense. A high iq person will see that going to a round about and turning is almost equidistant to the one way distance sans attendant risks. So it's safe to say the vast majority of Nigerians hv low iq bordering on being sub human! Buhari or state governors cannot control ur behavior when they are not around. Or niggaz now need law enforcement even in housing. Estates?? Hopefully you are not claiming to have higher IQ. Do you know what determine human behaviour. A combination of factors: upbringing, education, environment and societal influence, etc. Tell me what good influence Nigeria political class including the presidency have on the populace. Can Buhari engage the people he claim to be leading. I was a Buharist but things changed after the mass killing in the middle-belt. A president that choose to go to a public marriage of two public families few days after hundreds were massacred has no human feeling. Buhari is a dead beat. If you do not know how society functions. It's from top down. The elites and political class set the pace and rules for the masses to follow but what have the Nigerian elites and political class done. They steal and oppress the same masses. So don't blame the poor man driving against flow of traffic. He is also a victim. |

We keep taking all the rubbish they serve us, I personally think this is a great initiative to turn this country into the right course. .now you'll see all the wicked leaders fighting against this because they don't actually want the best for us but I'm sure their plans won't work. Let's all support our great nation and make it a better one once and for all. Ask yourself why slavery and colonialism lasted for several centuries. It's because of saboteurs and greedy elites that sold their people for money. There is no difference to what we see now among our political elites. The way few of our own people benefited from slavery is same as what we see now. They connive with multinationals to rob people of their land and resources. And who remain the victims? The masses. |

NwaAmaikpe:

I pity the jobless ones who will follow in this protest. You'd inhale tear gas in vain, while the conveners will get parastal appointments like Hadiza Bala Usman.
Say no to being used as a pawn by sellout moles.
Do not participate in the protest instead sit at home, go to work, visit a boyfriend, go to the cinema, watch porn in the office or just pray in church. I support whatever decision the DSS, Police and other paramilitary takes on dumb protesters.
Think again.
Is it a coincidence that Sowore wants a revolution just after the ministerial list was released and he didn't make the cut? Have you asked yourself why Yele Sowore of all people refused to file an election petition despite the flawed 2019 Presidential elections.
Have you wondered why this same person who congratulated Buhari after the elections saying it was a deserved free win then all of a sudden wants to protest again his government?
Abeg, our mumu don do. Sowore you can and will never fool NwaAmaikpe. You can't tell the world that Buhari was credibly elected by the people and still incite the same people to revolt against his government. That is pure two-faced hypocrisy.
I will never endorse a Nigerian revolution spearheaded by an insincere New Yorker. Paid enemy of the masses identified. One of several on this platform now. |

aaronson: Regardless of this long list of demands, this was just a bad time to start this revolutionary movement, Not when we RELATIVELY peaceful with a stable economy. Sowore picked a wrong schedule for this movement.
Let's take a look at a recent mass protest (still on going by the way) in Hong Kong against the proposed extradition bill. That protest was quick to spiral out of control from mere protest into a revolutionary movement, this is why people are still on the streets of Hong Kong even after the suspension of the proposed Bill
Another scenario is that of France, where Macron hike the price for fuel, The protest turned to a yellow vest movement that kept occuring every weekend till the hike was reverted but the people still clamouring for Macron removal
Conclusion Sowore could have concealed his revolutionary plans till a little uprising like fuel hike or workers strike or even End Sars protest to further take advantage of the situation turning it into his proposed revolutionary movement. Revolution just don't happen when peace and economic stability is thriving. He could be charged in court for Treason or even disturbing public peace. Peace and economic stability? I laugh! Wait until Boko Haram and Fulani jihadist knock on your door. The tone of your comment already gave you away. Keep collecting your N30k. |

Juju ko, mumu ni!!!! I sorry for you. You are not asking the right question. It's why can't our politicians and public officers swear using traditional oats instead of the bible and quoran. They wont do that because they know the repercussions of not keeping their hands off the till. God who created us and know the nature of all humanity he created gave us this knowledge because he knows our way and how difficult a black man can be. But our people are throwing them down the drain or use them for diabolical things. Traditional knowledge are not evil on their own, it is peoole that use them for evil rather than good. A relative was recently healed through traditional means after over 10yrs going from pillar to post, from hospitals to mosque and to church with no result. We have to cherish the traditional knowledge we have and use them for goodness of our society. |

Simplyleo: To me, this is a classical case of cure worse than the ailment. The little girl being a child may be thrilled by this "palliative", but in actual sense, it is no where close to the solution of her daily energy-sapping distant trekking.
The energy expended in riding that bicycle is almost double the energy required to trek.
However, may God reward her benefactor for making such attempt, and thanks to social media for bringing up her plight to the public. We pray she eventually get the appropriate assistance.
Also, such a long walk on the lonely path is not safe for a girl of her age, human ritualists are on the lookout. Would you rather walk for 2km for let us say 2hrs or bike the same distance for just 30 min. If you consider the time difference I believe less energy will be expended by biking because she will get to school faster than if she walk. |

Mixing Ford, JP Morgan and Facebook with Dangote and Elumelu doesn't make sense. I have been around different part of the US. Even Houston, Texas here alone I am always amazed at level of infrastructural development. These people have invested so much into their country. If you see roads, you go.tire. Power is 24/7, if it blinks, may be because of storm. Point to one US senator that have acquired so much to the point of having 5 Lamborghini or other luxury cars in his/her garage, and an extra parked in the living room. One of your former minister's jewelry collection alone was valued at $40 million. So, that's part of the money they are supposed to.use to build roads, schools, and hospital. And the worst part is each thief has bands of natives around him or her. Abi, see how Ibori was welcomed by the same people he stole from. Nigeria is supposed to have over 100 Dangote or Elumelu if the system works at just 10% of what country like US has. Power alone available for 24/7 will turn this country around massively. |

One common attitude of struggling and hopeful young men is doubt and disbelief. Don't doubt everyone or everything you hear especially if they have no direct implications on you.
