Actually, it's like trying to dilute a solvent that contains a component that is higher than you want. Let's say I have 1 litre of water with 5g of salt but what I wanted it ti be is 1g per litre. That mean I will need to mix fresh 4 litre of water without salt with the 1 litre of water that has 5g of salt. That way, the new solution of water and salt will now have the right concentration of 1g salt. Its the 4 litre of water that I needed to buy.

Blending is a common practice in the oil industry but its done at the source, not an excuse to import wrong product because it ought to have been analyzed.

I really feel bad reading your story. A young man looking for a remote web dev position but unfortunately your circumstances as pre-determined by the Nigerian situation has reflected that you might not be in a good position to be able to handle the job, not because of lack of ability but because what happened during the interview reflect that you may not always have smooth access to internet or power supply. Miracles do happen. Next time, if you can, and if possible, go outdoor for such interview. Maybe in a quiet park. The only thing you have to worry about is internet and power bank. With all the portable internet router that is available now, this shouldn't be a problem. Good luck.

If to work in a private organization or even to work in some government ministries, departments and agencies or to be admitted or to remain a student of some private universities in Nigeria mandatory drug test is a condition, likewise nothing stops any government university from making drug test mandatory for all staff and students. After all, universities are to award degrees based on character and learning and a drug addict lacks one and should be at the rehabilitation not in an academic environment. Kudos to NDLEA

Universities are not created to award degrees based on character. Degrees are awarded based on evaluation of academic performance of students. Universities have rules and regulations in place that students must follow. If you wish to use character for awarding degrees, you can create a University for Character, and then apply for license from responsible agency.

What system have they put in place to help students that are already admitted who may drug issues? What system have they put in place to help families facing drug use issues across the country. No. This is not acceptable. And then what happens if traces of drug is found in your system? Students shouldn't be made to forfeit their admissions on that basis. Had it being that there is a system in place to offer help to such students and not penalize them, then this will make sense. But we know this is Nigeria, where nothing is ever done right.
