Please share your thoughts on how any party would become a National party if all we do is not vote them because PDP is presently the only "National" party.

Police do not shoot out tyres of fleeing vehicles, rather they use spikes to deflate vehicle tyres as they know that they could fatally wound any occupants of the vehicle.

So your logic is lop-sided. Note that the Police response is not based on the reason for the fleeing car but rather on if he/she is armed.

Odili nominated Amechi as the flag bearer of the people's democratic party to succeed him before federal might truncated it halfway. In fact the ticket was handed to him on a platter of Gold against promising and prominent politicians gunning for the gubernatorial seat that could have taken him to the cleaners was there supposed to be a free and fair primary poll in the state.

Odili made Amechi personal assistant during the third republic when he (Odili) was a deputy governor. The same Odili upturn an election of Rivers assembly for his benefit, the same Odili went ahead to make him the speaker of the state hollow chambers.
What Amaechi has done to this same man, his benefactor is unimaginable.


Wike fought and risk his life to single-handedly installed Amaechi. Wike was the moving train while he (Amaechi) hid himself away in Ghana. I am privy to what happened in the last election and the role Wike played. Amaechi has arrogantly stepped on toes and should retrace back.
Even the much exonerated Amaechi has fought his political opponents in the state to a standstill destabilising their political machinery. Those that contested the governor seat of the state with him are still taking the heat.


This time he miscalculated and took his arrogance far above his realm and I don't think a sitting president would sit and allow a governor ridicule his presidency. It is good for Gov. Amaechi to aspire to a higher elective position but he should do that within the ambience of political decorum. He should stop criticising his fellow party member who is the president on the media but always adopt diplomacy, dialogue and negotiations to get his views across.

Let him wait for electioneering campaign to kick start his political distaste of the presidency and then tell the masses how he intends to remedy the anomalies. No doubt he is a good administrator compared to Jonathan but being overtly arrogant is evasive!

As regards the bolded part in your write-up, please state clearly what unimaginable things Amaechi has done to Odili o!

The ones me I know are as follows:
1. Rebuilt the Peter Odili Road to standard, wonderful road despite Odili commissioning that same road twice.
2. Finsihed the NLNG bridge that Odili abandoned after another failed project.
3. Did a complete overhaul of the Eliozu-Airport road saving us PH folks the eyesore that Odili spent billions on.
4. Ensured that Aba Road is well maintained rather than just lined as Odili was always inclined to do ( I must confess he has however not paid as much attention to the Traffic Lights)
5. Tuned Mile 1 - Agip section of Ikwerre Road to one that PH people are proud of
6. Built a fly-over across Agip Junction that shows how pathetic the Rumuola version by Odili truly is.
7. Put a lid on militancy to an extent in Rivers State. Now I can conveniently drive to Uyo along the Eleme road without any fear.

Let me stop at this sins that I know he committed against Odili while I await your list of unimaginable sins.

FG and States are different entities. They have spelt out responsibilities. The scope of FG is much wider covering the 36 states while the very essence of splitting the country into various states is to bring governance closer to the people and touch people's lives more directly. Historically, Free Education has been a policy of Regional Governments or states as they are called now. Awolowo did it for his region as leader of that region. It did not come from the center. There is nothing new about renovating schools and offering free education. Akpabio is doing even more in that regard.

The guy listed the positive things Amaechi had done to impact that driver's life, and you counter by siting Akpabio's infrastructure! Why not list also the ways Akpabio had impacted any driver's life in Akwa Ibom.

I was one of those who supported and voted for Jonathan, but with d turnout of events I have learnt not to make too much noise any more about a supposed 'angel' dat I dont knw. Now, for those of you are die-hard supporter of Amaechi I hope u all wont seem like fools when he begins to perform below expectation (that is if he bcoms vp or,say, president). My point is simple, in Nigeria it is not advisable to champion d course of ANY politician. Rather lets adore then when they most have performed well and LEFT power honourably, eg, Nelson Mandela. Lets jst sit back and allow Amaechi fights his battle, else we develop hrt attack on acct of his headache. By d way, d last time I checked, River State isnt is nowhere near Dubai or any other developd places we can tink of. Cheers

The last time I checked, Amaechi has improved Rivers State tremendously from the level that he met it when he took over.

BTW, Dubai was improved not by Governors' but by the equivalent of our President who had vision and the resources to make the change happen. What has the Goodluck you voted for done with the same enormous wealth at his disposal?
