Heavenly pancakes!

My first experience with pancakes was bad also.
Thanks. Yours have gotten better?

cococandy:
Pancakes, bacon and plain scrambled eggs.
Cococandy oo. Your pancakes are lovely! This was exactly what I wanted to make o....I mean the cream topping. I planned on using Swiss meringue but the egg failed to get to stiff peak. I was frustrated so I gave up

This looks so delicious. Would have visited if we were neighbours forgetting the stay at home and social distancing palaver. Do you have a pancake maker? I can't make pancakes again until i get that machine. Cos mine has always looked ugly and not round.
It was delicious cheesy cheesy cheesy. I don't have a pancake maker. This is the first time I'm hearing of it. I used a non-stick pan. You can try with a non stick pan.

Happy Sunday Chefs et Foodies.

I couldn't sleep last night. I kept seeing that pancake and the mummy's face..the one with the pancake. I knew I didn't like pancakes because the one I made during my teenage days was a big error. Since then, I haven't tried it again.

With no maple syrup or fruit in my house, I decided to make my own syrup.. Vanilla syrup (made with granulated sugar, caster sugar, brown sugar, vinegar, .margarine and vanilla).
.
Also, I used juicy raisins as topping. This is the fluffiest and softest pancakes I've ever had. I'm so proud of myself...I conquered the pancake phobia. Thanks to the guy that posted d pancake earlier...... Next try should be Chef Prestonn plantain moi moi

@ loveymom, so I visited ritora and she didn't have chocolate chips sad, I had to make do with just chopped chocolates like cococandy suggested.
Apart from getting burnt tongue it tasted great kiss
I think it got burnt because the heat was too high and because you used chopped chocolates. They melt easily and get burnt

Isolation Ogbono Soup

This is for the bachelors and singles that are thinking of a cheap yet good meal to make

Ogbono - 100
Crayfish - 50
Locust beans - 10
Oil - 40
Beef - 200
Stock fish - 50
Kpomo - 100
Pepper and seasoning - 30
Ugu - 50
Total is 630

Wash your proteins (beef, kpomo and stock fish).
Boil the beef and kpomo till it is nearly soft. Add in the stock fish and cook till they are soft.
In a small plate (not rubber plate), add in your ground Ogbono, crayfish and locust beans. Pour the oil in it and mix very well. Put on top of the boiling meat pot and still till the mix dissolves.
Pour the ogbono mix into the boiling water and stir in a skillful manner till the soup becomes slimy.
Add water according to the consistency you want. Allow to boil till it bubbles and the aroma fills your kitchen.
Add in your diced ugu...cook for about 5 mins
Remove from heat and serve with any swallow of choice.

I've been eating flour food since morning. This COVID-19 is indeed a bad virus o.

I made Scones for the first time by myself this morning. It tasted nice but didn't look like the one we made/learnt in class (I will post the class pics tomorrow). I enjoyed it Sha...

This evening, local boy was hungry...after much thinking, I remembered I had flour and some baking stuff left in the kitchen. I decided to make bread rolls. I was too weak to knead the bread but they came out so nice. Crunchy on the outside and very soft inside.

May God help us overcome this COVID-19 o.

Pics 1 and 2. Scones..filling was my homemade Jam

Pics 3 and 4. The bread rolls I baked this night... straight outta the oven
