Ondo and Ekiti doesn't follow the pattern of other SW states mostly.

The rest of the SW may be in apc while Ondo or ekiti will be in PDP. And vice versa.

Their plan was to present a candidate against the Governor in the primaries so that they can remove him for personal and selfish reasons best known to them and them alone. Governor Akeredolu defeated their candidate, Olusola Oke with a social distancing result in the recently conducted Ondo APC Primaries. If Agboola, Jegede and other persons should unite against Aketi, they will be defeated again. Aketi is a man with uncommon grace.

At least this generation is not blind we have history and we know the grudges of our fathers against each other. The collaboration between the SW and north in 2015, I never really supported it. Be it as it may, we move on , we are not blind if the SE refuse to support SW we wont hesitate to play smart politics.
But I believe we have to act like the big brother trying to unite the SE and SS together make the north central believe in theirselve and be pro south. Instead collaborating with core less civilized north. I don't like the kind of tinubu led smart politics, it shows the Yoruba's as pro north instead normal agreement. And I've always want osibanjo or fashola to be president coming 2023 but Tinubu would not go the oomoluabi way of keeping us blameless, he'll want to contest and some Yoruba's would have choice but to support him.

I was still very young as at 1999 but I heard it was two Yoruba @ the forefront and SE voted against SW Yoruba choice. So obasanjo supporters are North and SE/SS , SE don't usually support SW, I strongly believe they have to show some kind of support most especially now that our generation are more friendly and our children are closer to each other

please there is no where u would travel to that u can’t make it big ,, because Nigerians And Africans are so fascinated about America don’t mean u don’t hv equal opportunity in Europe and Canada . Do you know how many black people live in dumps in America? Yes there lot of opportunity due to their economy, but there is already a very high population of blacks in the US. B4 u get a proper work permit in the US , u will sweat and suffer as an immigrate , with a student visa u can’t work for more than some specified hours , and destination to your school , and this is because of the high rate of immigrants! B4 u can hv a stable life in the US , even with family . U would hv stayed there for almost 10 years , getting a green card is like gold . So at the end of the day u are going there to wash plate for 4 to 5years over there. In Canada if U are given visa u are given a work permit ,,, same thing with Europe countries , except Uk , but their policies are still better than the US. Then the police brutality and all , it’s a black American palava, but ur black skin and ur Nigerian status will still be an issue ... the time u would use to suffer there , u can stay in Nigeria and be hustling and trust me one day thing will be good !!! Except ofcourse u are going there to do drugs like most of them do and never tell you ,, if you are from a rich family that will sponsor you to nursing school till u graduate, praise God , but school fees isn’t cheap !! So which hustle are you going to hustle there?

If this report of the disqualification of governor Akeredolu by his party screening committee is true then it can be assumed that governor Akeredolu shot himself on the foot.

He refuse to cross over to the PDP he was comfortable with the fact that he had a SEMI GOOD RECORD WITH BUHARI and to some little extent Oshiomole too except for Tinubu who had his own candidate for governor in Ondo state.

THROUGHOUT THE TRAVAIL OF GOVERNOR OBASEKI OF EDO STATE, GOVERNOR AKEREDOLU NEVER UTTER A WORD EITHER IN THE SUPPORT OF OBASEKI OR OTHERWISE.

He want to be SEEN TO BE POLITICALLY CORRECT BEFORE HIS FULANI SLAVE MASTERS.

Now that the chips are down AKEREDOLU should now STEW IN HIS OWN JUICE.

I don’t see Akeredolu winning the general election. He has lost the support of the party so I don’t get how he will pull through during the general election. If he’s as strong as you’re making it appear, he won’t be scared of direct primary against 11 other candidates. I mean, why will an incumbent governor be scared of contesting an election where only members of his party will vote?

Before he became governor, APC won the presidential election and all senate seats in 2015. He became governor and the party lost the 2019 presidential election, two senate seats and several house of Reps and assembly seats.

Except APC find a way to conduct the primary without taking side with Akeredolu, the party will explode in the state. A forceful imposition of Akerdolu like they are trying to do will backfire. The party should conduct a direct primary and allow the most popular candidate to emerge. If not, majority of APC members will work against Akeredolu during the general election. He will get a dose of what he did last year.
