Onlytruth: I can post pictures of houses built, owned and occupied by Igbomen in Kano. They even fought in Kano in 1991.
Can you show me houses built and occupied by the Fulani in Igboland? no brother, fulanis because of there nomadic nature don't build houses look at lagos or even kwara today, how many houses can u say is fulani but yes they were there before 1800 so is anambra, river, cross river, ebonyi, benue, among others not building settlements or houses just shows they are nomadic and does not mean they were not there even way before the 1600's |

Onlytruth: Posted by: alj_harem I said PERMANENT settlement. There is none.
Anywhere they are rearing their cattle is temporary and they don't mess with farms like they do in Yorubaland. Any day we consider them trouble, we send in the Bakassi boys. permanent settlement yes they are as i said my brother, fulanis have been migrating from northern nigeria to states like lagos, edo, rivers cross river, cross river, anambra |

Do you even see a permanent Fulani settlement anywhere in Igboland? onlytruth i don't want to get involved in this but yes there are fulani settlments in igboland and i hope u do not take it offenssive ebonyi, state and anambra but they are extreme minorities |

Carbon sink . . like it says . . the plants utilizing large amounts of CO2 during photosynthesis to build up their biomass, hence their biomass act as traps for atmospheric CO2 . . . ok i understand that yes isn't that what we want if the plant act as a carbon sink, then it is good for traping carbon |

jmaine: The gaseous emission vehicles would emit in large quantities would rather be CO due to incomplete combustion of the gasoline . . . but i would like to inform you that yes . . Plants utilize CO2 for photosynthesis but they also respire just like man in giving out CO2 as a bye product . . .
And it might also interest you to know that it takes plant about 40 - 60 years for plants to act as carbon sinks, which means all young plants would definitely increase the CO2 content in the atmosphere before they begin to act as a sink . . so your desperate excuse is a failure . . That is why scientist all over are concerned about the rapidly dwindling amazon forest and other primary forest all over the globe . . cos it takes years to have such trees perform the important task of being a carbon sink . . Planting of new trees is part of a long term plan to cater for the future generations while we strive to reduce emission of CO2 in the atmosphere to cushion it's effect . .
Nobody is against beautification . .but, praising it to the high heavens when there are more important things to be done smirks of profound idleness . . i know plant produce CO2 at night because there is not light for them to use and thus break down there starch to form CO2 but the lenght of day in nigeria is higher than nigth so actually in the long run it breaks down more CO2 than it produce. this solution is for later generations to enjoy and that is why countries are told to plant trees by the green countries like the EU cars mostly produce CO and CO2. the CO actually is less denser than air and goes to the atmosphere (stratosphere) this then get in contact with oxygen radicals which has been broken down by the sun light (UV rays). thus CO2 is fromed 2CO + O2 ====== 2 CO2 what carbon sink are u saying in what terms is it limestome or what in the case of the atmosphere, it is only logical to plant trees and plants which is not an immediate solution but certainly a long term solution if u take thing to propective here |

The last person from the South who could authoritatively dictate to the North was Ironsi and we know how he ended. uche uche uche haba how can u say such we have has 3-4 presidents from the south 1 nnmadi 2 obj 3. sonekan 4.obj again 5. goodluck haba have this people not rule the whole nigeria in peace were they all northerners surlly jonathan can deal with the treat bu all he needs to do is grow some balls that's all |

Splendid . .you really need to keep quiet atimes so that you don't get exposed often . . . my illiteracy seem to be better than your intelligent post flowers can only come from plants or trees it is very good that he did it, and it also shows forsight in his government lagos on a normal day is very conjested and car produce a large amount of CO2 this CO2 are absobed during the day when they photosynethisis take place photosystem 2 is nessaccary in this occuation and thus the flowers make it more effiecent because flowers are colourful, they contain pigments that can absorb light from different wavelight unile green plant alone |

phantom: Alhaji, you know its the truth, let your government make the other seaports viable and you ll see how fast the people that count avoid that ' herpes sore ', my brother, the seaport is in contruction and to my understanding the north also what a seaport the river niger drainging will make a seaport in north, and SE which is good new now lagos is the smallest state, and has 18 million inhabitants majority of this people came from the village or rural areas for a better life this are the people making lagos a slum, as u put. i see it as a place that unites all nigerians so long as we respect the indigenes of the place now as u can see, you are not doing that. as of presence fashola is the best governor in NIGERIA. and i can attest to this becasue i travel a lot rivers state is nothing to write home about because it has land, low population and yet 405 billionwhile lagos is the smallest, largest population and has 415 billion as revenue now 10 billion is not significant in the grand scheme of things so rivers state should be a lot better than lagos even not abuja secondly., enugu is a total disgrace because of the erosion and yet the governor is still looking and waiting for the FG when last as ACN or fashola looked for the FG for money or repairs give the man some credit |
