Use your network and experience and go up the ladder. Your present company is the platform you'll use to penetrate big offices, open doors, get phone numbers, expand your network. Sell/Market yourself to bigger companies, talk in person to them. Talk nicely. Start doing that now. No time. Package your CV well. That's your plan to move up the chain. Pursue it aggressively. Do that now and see outcome before you begin to consider resignation.

Tell him, calm him and tell him you both should go and report to the police/FBI, just so they can verify the truthfulness of the story(but you and u know clearly dis na scam). Don't let them get to you. If you resign you're just helping them to realize their plans and wishes. They want to kick you out. If you want to leave, leave on your own terms, in your own time, and more importantly with a backup plan. Maybe a good business or better job offer. For now just focus on being good at your job, don't be found wanting, and don't take their behaviors and attitude to heart. Ignore. You are colleagues and work together but that doesn't mean you must be friends. After work hours, you have no business with them. go back to your private and family life. Examine yourself too of their are any things you're doing to encourage their attitude and stop it. Improve yourself in any of your flaws you notice. Also know that for some haters you don't even have to do anything wrong to them for them to hate on you. It's just their jealousy, envy, inferiority. If it's that just mind your biz, not your fault, nothing you can do. Their headache.

One thing you should know is that your brother is now married and is firstly responsible to his wife and kids before any other person so him allowing three extended family to stay in this hard times is an act of kindness and bravery please don't add more stress to his life by bickering with your in-laws. My brother I am close to some of his mates even as a civilian. The job is not retched at all, especially in the NAVY. Note that for the man to choose only him out of 3 people, it means he liked him. And secondly this officer could have easily asked for transfer and get it from his posting unit. My opinion is that he need to check himself rather than trying to play the victim here.

At least the rating has brought this to light now so they can't sweep it under the carpet. This country, they can actually sweep it under the carpet, they don't care, people aren't held accountable, but at least the world now knows thats what they do and how the treat such cases. It's the needless, unwarranted and undeserved maltreatment and wickedness that is the issue, not the attachment to the Officer/Admiral. That is wrong and also unprofessional. Its against the Navy conduct rules and in a normal environment the Oga should face disciplinary action. And it's especially being metted out based on religious difference, which is another deep problem in this country. Ratings will happily do jobs to their Oga that aren't even part of their official responsibilities but will do it out of respect to a kind and compassionate oga, who is also generous, but nit this type of Oga. Its a choice, thats why he could and he actually did officially report it, and he wasn't sent away saying those were his responsibilities, but because the legal department was also handicapped or in conivance.
Such wicked Officers have no place in the system. They don't motivate or boost the morale of fellow officers/juniors, which affects the entire goal or mission of the system. There are many laws, both civil and military, that can be used in disciplining the oga. It's in their books. They're are procedures to checkmate such abuse of power behavior but aren't being followed. Thankfully this smart brave young man documented all his evidence, and has as a last resort let the world know whats happening because he knows what they're capable of and he doesn't want to disappear or be dismissed or punished again silently. I don't blame, he has exhausted official channels available and was pushed to this, his actions can be defended. It us now left for the navy to set up an impartial committee to investigate this, punish all erring parties, compensate the boy, and this is an opportunity to make some reforms in the deployment of ratings and theirs management by their bosses. And strengthen compliance. Checkmate abuse of discretion and powder. This has exposed a little of the probably the many wrong things going on in the navy silently.
I'm from the East, my uncle is a high ranking naval officer but doesn't treat ratings like this, regardless of their tribes or religion.
