Politics › Re: Emi Lokan : The Double Standard by ambale(m): 8:46am On Sep 18, 2022
In any guise, you might want to put it, emilokan is not a proper word to use in national politics

If you believe in fairness, then you should know that three regions have held the presidency since we came back to this present democratic rule- The SW, NW, and the SS

So those who should be shouting emilokan should be the NC, NE and the SE, but since there's an unofficial agreement(if there was anything like that), that the presidency should come down south, it should have been for the SE for the sake of fairness

But that should not even warrant the Emilokan word, in a nation of more than a 100million adults, you are saying Emilokan.

You need to tell us what kan you oo?

More so, the arrogance in their supporters and their candidate is something we need to tame as a nation, it is not good at all

Politics › Re: If You Insist That Poll lead by Peter Obi Is Fake Then Do This by ambale(m): 7:30am On Sep 17, 2022
Mufakirnaqdiun:
Polls don’t gauge outcomes,so they are neither accurate nor inaccurate in that regard.
Polls gauge the situation at the instant the poll is taken. They do also measure the likely stability of the situation, for example, polls on the two candidates have been remarkably stable for many months, despite all the things that have happened.

AND polls measure opinion. But that’s not the only thing that determines outcome.
Let me give an example from another country. Polls before the election in Belarus showed the opposition winning in a landslide, but after the election Lukashenko was declared the winner by 80%.
People’s opinions hadn’t changed. but Lukashenko had applied Stalin’s maxim “It’s not who votes that counts—it’s who counts the votes.”
So you should get the message, lol.
All these English because it's not your preferred candidate

Even on the streets what do you think you guys want to campaign with

Just for some few old men shouting awa lokan upandan, you might receive the greatest shock of your life come next year ooo

ATLIEN2027:
Compared to other countries, 20 percent is bad but could have been worse. Some countries even have it worse than Nigeria right now.
It's a Global crisis right now. Even here in the US, inflation is killing with price increase from food, Gas, housing, cars and even bills.
Imagine GA power charging people way more for electricity because of inflation.

FreeStuffsNG:
I know interpreting this is too difficult to understand for the lazy youth who idles away on the social media 24/7 from January to december to make a career in jesting and entertainment, this inflation is not caused by the Federal Govt and if you can just quit your idleness and live a productive lifesfyle, this temporary high inflation locally and globally can be a blessing for you to earn more.

The basket does not have all the goods and services in the country and some of the composite items like energy-related costs, school needs, etc maybe temporary price increases
So why then do government make policies if it doesn't affect inflation and the economy at large

This comment shows that you know absolutely nothing about the economy

Government is the biggest influencer of the economy abi dem no teach you dar one too for school

This administration lacks foresight and invested in the wrong business, leading to extensive insecurity, and border closure while not providing adequately for local production to even have what looks like competition to the international brand

But you are here talking as if our economic woes started with Russia and Ukraine war.

Bhet at least a man should own up to his ailment now

This is confirming that the health status of BAT is questionable

We shouldn't vote for another sick president that will spend most of his time abroad receiving treatment

We want someone who at least would take responsibility for every action in his government

An average ndi-dot is such an ungrateful and toxic specie.

The same igbos that are painting Tinubu bad, the same man that accept and accomodate them in Lagos, accomodate them into political positions and goverment cabinet, not leaving them to their suffering state in the south-east.

It either they are ungratefully going back to chop-off the finger that 'fed' them or Biting the finger that 'feeds' them. Ungrateful Lot.

That same UJu of a woman, am very sure she benefitted from the early schools the british christian evangelism brought to Nigeria. If not, she wouldnt have been a professor she is today.

But as usual, all thing doesnt matter to them except the deep hate they always nurture for everyone else, Languishing in the ocean of pain and hatred, blaming everyone for their unfortunatr misfortune except themselves.

Infact an average ibo person is worst than a fulani man who doesnt forgive easily.

Reason why i dont and will never support Peter. An igbo administration will be worst than Abacha regime, because to them it is always about payback.
Tinubu accommodated them in lagos as what?

Try dey get sense now, time dey go ooo

Politics › Re: To be honest, The Odds Doesnt Seem To Be In Obi's Favour by ambale(m): 10:56pm On Sep 12, 2022
What we've had in times past is voter apathy in the South, while the north has been coming out even with underaged voters

Remember none of the candidates have a cult-like follower-ship in the north like Buhari, so bloc votes might not come

And the south will definitely come out more this time around.
