None of these studies show any close tie between Benin and Yoruba. Both relate in same way as they relate to Igbo. All are Kwa Niger-Congo people. Diverging from the ancestral root long ago.

Benin and related Edoid people like Degema in Rivers, Urhobo, Isoko, Ekpeye, Epie in Bayelsa and so on are well known. Yoruboid group like Yoruba, Okun, Igbira and so on are known.

Same applies worldwide. Finnish people are related to Hungarians, not nearby Swedes or Norwegians.

Seun not all those 74,000 are actually ill. That is the number that tested positive.

The number needing admission is less than 20%.
The reason Italy has such a high death rate is that it has the highest proportion of old people in Western Europe. Birth rate has been low for decades in Italy now. Many people live to an old age too.

Therefore more of those old people get seriously ill and die more often.

Germans do things to a very high standard. They take the number of patients they can give the best possible care. That means a lot of money per patient treated. I guess they will take more in batches.

There are over 500 post housemanship doctors awaiting their NYSC... Since the program has been cancelled temporarily. They are young, vibrant and currently 'jobless'. There are also over 3,000 nurses who are jobless or receiving close to nothing.

To get these groups is very easy. Get across to their Alma Maters, hospital of internships or schools of nursing, compile their details and reach out to them.

Now negotiate with them responsibly and respectfully. Get them all a short-term contract. Pay them over 400K/month (yes, this is war and we have that money). You don't expect people to go for a COVID-19 suicide mission and negotiate 100k with them or tell them their rewards are in heaven (a common Nigerian employers line for cheap labour).

When you are done with the above, provide them with PPEs and duty meals.

Lastly, keep them on standby. YOU ARE GOING TO NEED THEM IN THE NEXT COUPLE OF WEEKS. Kindly do this within the next ten days.

The only reason Nigerian elite are talking about this pandemic is because the usual Western & Arab countries they normally go to for treatment are closed.

If not, they'd have sneaked out in their government and private jets since and leave the masses to the fate.

They will take a swab from inside your mouth or nose to take to lab. Blood of course too if already in admitted to hospital.

That device pointed at the forehead is to check for fever/high temperature.

Fever is one possible sign of Covid 19 but that's not diagnostic. That may then make you get properly tested.

The actual test is not widely available yet. Not even in UK or USA. Although Germany, South Korea & some others have rolled out a better testing regime.

Everyone is waiting for antibody test (currently under development) to test for any exposure. This test should be cheaper.
