Well, there is a caveat. INNOCENT. Is a person of another religion considered innocent? One can say or write anything. It can be ambiguous. But the real meaning of it is more important. |
sarrki:He's is entitled to. But in private. Because our constitution is clear about of traditional rulers and politics. Saying even qualified Lagos state citizens cannot have that ambition is wrong for his position. Even if you think Ambode is best thing since sliced bread, Lagosians in their wisdom can decide to try another person. Who are we to know that another little person cannpt come on board and do another "Fashola" to surprise everyone? But partisan as you are Sarrki, you will be the last person to see reason or care about the rules. |
Life is turn by turn. It could be another lady writing this about same dude 5 years from now. You never know. ![]() Where money is, anything can happen. |
cosmatika:Maybe. In this age of powerful phone cameras, where is the video clip of this her changing? Just because Donald Trump exists doesn't mean he is the postman who delivers my letters daily. |
emmykk:Let them be fooling themselves. If you leave all the big thieves, every dick and Harry will keep copying them. You might catch a few small fish, stubborn critics and small political opponents but it won't change anything. |
OK o. Good. |
Keneking: ![]() But where do they dig out some of these people to be our ambassadors? See reply. Na wa o. |
Miles300:Nothing new. It has been the case at many Nigerian foreign missions abroad for over 6 months now. Many people could not travel to Nigeria last December. Passports that were due for collection at embassies around 10th of October 2016 were not. In fact they were only ready around mid-February this year. Many coming home for a funeral had to postpone or miss it altogether. Not to mention Christmas. Only those who already had foreign passports were able visas or TCs to travel to 9ja. There has not been such a low point for a long time. But Zombies keep defending. |
Muafrika2:Yes. They mostly eat fruit & flowers/petals. They are so rare that you will normally hear of Sloths being native of South America. This one might have been left behind in Africa as Pangea separated into various continents. Being a very slow & routine-loving animal (predictably going down to poo in same location), it is easily preyed upon. Being slow and idle also affect some females chances of mating regularly, to even produce the usual once a year. So killing just one is a big deal. |
Muafrika2:It used to be a fairly common species of sloth. Many more species have already gone extinct, including some the size of an elephant and the size of a grizzly bear in the Americas. This African type is very rarely seen now compared to just 25 to 30 years. Very sickening to see it killed. It should have been caught & sent to a zoo, or allowed to slowly go into the bush. |
rusher14:Lol. She must have said it with red eye upon realising all her money had Mavrodised away with MMM. ![]() Justice must now take its full course. |
sgtponzihater:There is no tussle here. And for a person supposedly in a noble profession, your manners and generalisation leave a lot to desired. Thing is I'm privy to two local studies with unacceptably high levels of false negatives using FBS. It is about what is best in light of what is diagnostically possible. I'm not talking about books here. I know a certain co-author of one of the most used books internationally. But she's not an expert in all aspects of med. I'm rather talking about expert diabetologists/endocrinologists. Common sense tells me that it is a bit unfair to condemn all Nigerian doctors. However, I do not know about the education or clinical practice of ALL of them. But for those that I know plying their trade across many countries, they are certainly very well-respected. For their knowledge, confidence, hard work, professionalism and can do attitude. |
uniqUN:They had other values. We have largely lost those. The minute we decided to ape oyinbo without knowing how oyinbo got to where they are now, we lost it. |
sgtponzihater:So you mean HbA1c >6.5 would not be diagnostic? Which country is that? I can confirm to you that many practitioners ignore the first 2. Whether for diagnostic or follow up. The potential lack of compliance with fasting (patient could have eaten well past midnight and not admit it) alone is enough to render it potentially problematic. Of course in an emergency situation, random would still be useful. With glycated there is now that it has been there for a while. In resource poor climes, the first two are certainly still useful. |
Gruesome. |
obduke94:World wide, being seen to be flamboyant is part of showbiz. Only that all turns upside down in 9ja. |
Bridget95:God bless you my sister. I like honest people. We should just kiss reality always. @OP, You can hardly expect fidelity from your wife these days let alone a pretty banker girlfriend, who is frequently on social media. Changing dp like a chameleon changes colour. And she lives maybe hundreds of kilometres away even. If she gets preggy and starts pressuring you to marry her, ensure you do paternity test as soon as baby is born. Even if secretly. Or you might raise another man's child. Very common these days. It does not mean she's a bad girl. She's just like a large percentage of today's people. Period. |
Baroba:This is slightly obsolete now, though still useful. The better test is the HbA1c test. Where possible insist on this test. Reason is that it shows how your body has been managing sugar over the past 3 months at least. More reliable than how your body managed sugar over the past 12 hours or so, in the case of fasting blood glucose. |

Wish she had a reflective vest on. Our ogas in govt won't see this. Because she won't grace their bed like all those empty heads looking for already made guys upandan. This ladies shows you do not need blokos to do many things. |
kYjelly2:Very true. It will probably go and hide in a hole somewhere to recuperate. Though fluid from the injury might be sniffed to track it down by big predators. If it was a herbivore, it could eat certain herbs/plants with anti-inflammatory & anti-microbial properties like lemongrass, turmeric, bitter leaf, bitter kola, etc. ![]() |
kYjelly2:Yep. Microbes in its mouth will get into the body through the antlers' piercing injury. Infection. It will most likely die from it. |
Christmas & New Year in one for Lala. ![]() |
RIP. The guy is a dunce to not have expected infidelity in this day & age. They were not even married. |
Why women (even if just some) who are supposed to know the pain of birthing a child brutalize children is beyond me. |
adioolayi:The same reason Nigeria cannot provide light & water for its citizens. Despite Nigeria's huge resources. A university is a microcosm of Nigeria. VC = president. University senate = NASS. We have failure at every level. |
I like her natural black skin. |
scachy:You know in 9ja when you criticise, you're called hater. It would be a good futuristic idea if only we were used to doing things up to the standards of other countries. But we cut corners at every level. Lagos does not lack land. There's plenty of land around Ikorodu. Lagos & Ogun could have partnered to create space for a new city on dry land, bringing private investors. The amount of money used to reclaim land in the ocean alone, imagine what it would do in dry land. An embankment to protect old Lagos could have done in phases. I think our leaders in 9ja are obsessed with elitism. They want an exclusive posh area for themselves. Because how many Lagosians can afford to live in Eko Atlantic city? Once the construction is over most of jobs generated initially will reduce drastically. It will be Like Ikoyi/VI/Banana Island for the elite, with 90% of workers commuting to work for them from the Mainland. |
kateskitty:Actually majorly for those already in employment, housewives, disabled, etc. |
PenisCaP:Lol. How much clearer can that be? She grew up in Warri. Her parents are from Anambra. |
PenisCaP:She's confirmed Warri babe. Though of Anambra origin. Another confirmed Warri babe is the mixed Nigerian-German musician Nneka. In 9ja, especially with the widely traveled Igbo people, name does not always indicate where you were born/bred. Even Zik of Africa & Dim Ojukwu both were born in Zungeru, Niger State. |

How is it impossible to find a lasting solution to access to stable electricity and portable water in Universities that should be hub of Nation's research and development
