amagunnerfan:Exactly. And it's over many years. Feeding, housing, vet bill, training & possibly most of the dogs are imported. Only question is whether the money could have channelled towards better policing techniques than dogs. And of course the usual 9ja factor. ![]() |
IsiCaterpillar:Didn't you read she was just standing by the roadside? She was not crossing the road. Rip Ma'am. No ambulance to pick her or certify her dead. Na wa o. |
Sigh. Waiting for when oyinbo go copy our style of everything. Good luck to them. |
McCarlito:Even a 3 times divorced baba onikeke won't touch her with a barge pole. ![]() So people are this tribalistic, superficial and pathetic. Possibly missed the best guy of her life because of tribe. Shame. |
You take female friends to your married "friend" to nyansh as a routine. Are you a kinda love-vendor? ![]() Is that how you are going to be shagging other ladies after marrying this girl? Then you both deserve each other. ![]() |
You shine Congo raw, then you come refuse baby. Na wa o. What was the object of the Supreme Court case back then? |
dahaz:But one would expect a minister's driver to be vetted to a good degree. If no valid or no licence at all, then he was driving illegally. Is that acceptable at such a high level? Let's be honest please. Due process is one thing we have so much disregard for. But it's necessary in a civilised society. In this case, if true, DSS, FRSC, the late minister and the driver didn't do well. |

True |
Goke7:It's not defense. A manslaughter charge should not be mistaken with armed robbery or 419. All are crimes that should be punished but not same. Did you see anywhere I said theft or corruption should not be punished or showed be allowed? ![]() Don't be sentimental to the point of twisting a glaring truth. |
Na wa o |
Charly68:Before nko? After all, Buhari was head of Petroleum quango during Abacha's regime. You think the Swiss get fooled by body language yarn? Left to me, that fund should be handed over to a trusted foreign charity group to run child/maternal health centres in rural areas in Nigeria. |
dilini:Well, he was reminded of it everyday during his regime. Though I don't know if your local robbers/armed robbers are charged with the felony of corruption in the courts. ![]() But I know that corruption & theft have separate sections of the law criminalising them in other countries. Be as it may, GEJ never claimed to be a saint and he's not in power any more. So a man like Buhari who came to power wearing a toga of anti-corruption can rightly expect his conduct & statements regarding corruption to be under the microscope 24/7. |
Na wa. Somebody is a king or a duke (like some minor Yoruba obas) and he has a beautiful wife, is that news also? Many keke Napep riders have beautiful wives, when will you show their compilation? Since NL is so boring these days. ![]() |
Chicagoesontop:Ol' boy, dis your maths na wa o. We're in trouble in this country. That's why when they said Diezani stole $50b, people just believed it. Lots of people have problems with numbers. They cannot understand the scale. Nigerian daily oil intake is peanuts if shared to every citizen for example. Creating an enabling environment, education, infrastructure, etc by government is all it can do. Not frivolous spending like our politicians do. |
Adminisher:The same Buhari who said Abacha was not corrupt? Kikikikikikiki. ![]() How can I trust a man who said someone who stole billions of dollars that are still being returned 18 years later is/was a saint be trusted? Why are you guys so blinded by personality cult? Is that due to serious brainwashing or what? If Abacha wasn't corrupt, then GMB can also steal billions and won't see it as corruption. Or how else do you want us to understand this? Please help us out. |
Omobolaji20:In 9ja, we get carried away easily. Some get to earn millions years later working in accounting firms. Don't denigrate others' choices just because your choice is different. Striving to work in accounting & taking professional courses is not waste of time or laziness. While her struggle is commendable, a certain "bad belle" is there. She could have been more humble and say something like " whatever you do, if you're happy doing it and pays the bills, that's what matters. I'm enjoying my job and it pays my bills." I'm not an accountant by the way. |
scampy:Hopefully found hale & hearty IJN. Amen. |
Kabiyesi has spoken. The covens have been shut down. Everything is shutting down. Surely, that's part of Buhari's "chenji". ![]() |
OP, you're blinded by the love you have for her. But all the problems are staring you in the eye koro koro. And she's likely not your wife. She thinks she's doing you a BIG favour dating you. Now that's a bad starting point because you're starting from a position of weakness, she of strength and control over you. It will only get worse after marriage. Especially if she has the means to survive in the event of marriage break up. Don't rush into anything. Take your time to see if she will change. If not, move on dude. A broken bf-gf thingy is better than a broken marriage. |
It means still sitting on the fence. ![]() Facts is some don't even know what it means before putting it. Some think it means no secrets, matters are discussed openly in the relationship. ![]() |
Life. Bless God for him. |
RadicallyBlunt:Word. I remember our neighbours in secondary school days. Their dad was a senior civil servant. He worked in another state and visited every 2 weeks. A very kind man. The man's wife would hardly give her step-sons food but gave her own young kids the best food. She would lock away soup in the cupboard and give her daughter the key. Sometimes, his step kids would steal the key and quickly take some soup. Not knowing there was another soup in a place known to her biological kids only. When she returns and finds soup below the MARKED level in the pot, she would punish the step sons. The boys always wondered how she knows they have taken even if the smallest amount of soup. Until she revealed one day that she puts a lump of kpokpo garri on top the soup. When the soup surface is disturbed, the lump will sink. ![]() The boys didn't tell their dad because they thought he would never believe that his lovely wife could do such. We used to cook and give the boys. God so kind, the boys were all "A" grade students, acing their exams anyhow. I have no doubt they are successful men today. They might even be the ones looking after their pampered half-siblings now. |
tosyne2much:A president who can smile so bright (& let the world see it) when one of his promising ministers, relatives & others just died in a ghastly accident must surely earn respect. |
linearity:Gbam! Faith without work is dead. |
McCarlito:You saw Akwa Ibom and you rushed to condemn Calabar. Even then crime is not unique to a tribe, whether Calabar, Fulani, Yoruba, Igbo, Akwa or any. A poor girl just lost her life in a gruesome way. Condemn the act not the tribe. Let alone the wrong tribe. RIP young woman. We need to take mental health seriously. Aside Yaba left, Aro, Uselu and a few others in Naija, we don't have enough mental health facilities. |
He is APC saint o. How can he be corrupt? Even Abacha was not corrupt according to GMB. Abacha only kindly helped us save billions of dollars in his private Swiss, American and other accounts ![]() 9ja is a country of hypocrites. No wonder we are getting nowhere. ![]() |
oskaaay:Sigh. If only there was peace and unity. |
RIP. Na wa. Many people are mentally fragile these days. Look out for friends & family members in distress, heartbreak, etc. |
These are not happy times for this country. Too many deaths: tanker explosions, Fulani herdsmen killings, ritual killings, kidnappings, husband/wife killing spouse, armed robbers killing, road accidents/deaths, rape, crime, just too many deaths. Things are really bad. With economy getting worse, people will increasingly turn on each other to make money, sad. |
