MicheyJ1:At all at all. Parents should be very alert. |
ednut1:Akin. ![]() If you add Dele, na you talk am o. Nice list. Not exhaustive but very good. I particularly like Adegoke, Ifeoluwa, Omolara & Omolewa. Durojaiye is also cool. It would have been a good name for Hushpuppi & Woodberry. ![]() |

Well, economy is tough. Good paying jobs a few for anyone, even worse for women. Why guys can do labourer, yahoo and so on girls do not. The easiest way out is getting from guys. Not all ladies get a good, wealthy guy to marry right away. So many must manage those with change in their pocket. If a lady is lazy, has no drive, has no plans to better herself, only wants to grab as much as she can, please let her be. Nothing you do will ever be enough for her. Because she cannot supplement your assistance with her own proper earning. Eternal leech. It is a big social issue. It appears a man is only good enough because of his money. A woman only has her body to offer in exchange. A very bizarre kind of bazaar. Trade by barter even. Ultimately it diminishes the dignity of both genders. Of course despite the prevalence of the above, some people, of both genders still have a healthier approach to relationship. We need far more of those. |
Invoking spirits is an ancient art. It's done in many places. Even King Saul saw the spirit of Prophet Samuel invoked by the witch Doctor at Endor in the Bible. But these are things not to be toyed with. |
NaijaOlosho:Oh girl, nor go there o biko. ![]() |
nairaman66:So you mean under APC Nigerian economy is now lean and wretched like gay Daura cows that never increase in population after 17 years? Chai! You haff finis Nigeria Pata Pata o. ![]() This your double jab and upper cut dey cause coma o. ![]() |
merieam16:I think say na only me think so o. He wants to sample opinion of people without admitting he already did it. ![]() Sense nor go kee us my dear. ![]() |
MrImole:Nigerian politics is more complex than meets the eye. Why do you think they can decamp so easily? Because they have their fingers in pies everywhere. Tinubu worked for Jonathan knowing fully well Ribadu standing for ACN then had no real chance of winning. With generous terms for his brother's OANDO as reward. If Obaseki wins, they might want to lure him back to APC. Seems a good strategy on paper at least. For those on opposite side of TINUBU and Oshiomhole, losing Edo would further weaken the latter. Since it can become clear that letting Obaseki stand as APC candidate would have secured governorship for APC. In 2007, some anti Anenih elements within PDP supported Oshiomhole. Na today? |
YoungLionken:Not his brother but they are paternal cousins. Pedro is also a cousin to Ize-Iyamu on his mother's side too. They are all part of Benin elite. Many are related by blood or marriage. |
jerseyboy:APC are running a Refutocratic government. Since they cannot run a democracy or an economy. They are focusing on Gerontocratic Refutocracy. Old men with yansh grey hair lying, denying and refuting. ![]() |
WandaNara:Happy birthday to your mom. Long life and prosperity. She will reap the fruits of her labour. Abeg spoil her today o. |

Oga nor insult gentle, graceful antelope. They are like a crocodile and a scorpion with the deception of a serpent to boot. |
pquaver:Dude, we all don chop insult tire here. SW people rounded on us calling us clueless and Ipob during Jonathan time. Me that I have no connection with Igbo or Ijaw. So I will use every opportunity to get back at them and no insult will be out of bounds for me to use. We have been on this since 2011. I will not justify anything. After all I am not from the over educated and over sophisticated side. ![]() I will just keep stating the facts as I see it. So abeg swerve. |
pquaver:Look, I actually bought into Propaganda that Jonathan was completely bad as someone not always on ground. Partly influenced by SW opinion here on NL and social media. OBJ could not fix Lagos - Sagamu-Benin Road in 8 years. We were entering Bush to cross Ore risking kidnap. Some were kidnapped during OBJ time at Ore Bush. Lagos to Benin once took me 12 hours then. Jonathan came and that road was taking 4 hours. The best cond since around 1990. Then he actually Brough trains back since about 1991. Not just MOU. Subsidy protest finally opened my eyes. Led by SW. Majority Northerners aided by southern acolytes condemned subsidy removal. Arguing that Nigeria has enough money. Falana lost my respect there. Out of blind tribalism they sided with corruption and desire to be the only voice of the South, they sided with corruption. Obviously because of widespread and growing corruption since 1960, no way to effectively police subsidy pay. Why no scrap it, save money to get refineries functional again and maybe we can get petrol prices back down if locally refined. To show the scale of Nigerian corruption, Magu touted as uncompromising anti corruption czar is now being investigated for corruption. Imagine if Jonathan kept a NASS rejected EFCC leader for years like Buhari did? The "over educated" SW would found another word aside "clueless" to describe Jonathan. |
RenaissanceGuy:And also know that GEJ govt was much more progressive despite what tribalism of people even in the SW have made them to say about Jonathan. All the lies. Buhari that they forced on us as not corrupt, people have been suffering long before Covid 19. Still, we cannot wish a fellow human death. See leaders during Covid-19. Trump, Johnson, Putin, Kim Jung-un, Jair Bolsonaro, Buhari. It would have taken a miracle not to see a pandemic with so many sour people leading countries across the world at the same time. ![]() |
SoftP:Thoroughly. But as usual NC and Southern leaders will keep quiet. To save their political ambitions. |
LandMann:Yep. 2023, Magu will be vying for presidency. Abacha's children will be doing same. Na small time crooks get wahala. Nor be here we dey politicians and NASS people dey troop to visit Orji Kalu for leaving prison. One would think Orji Kalu just won Nobel Peace price. ![]() |
IkwerrePikin:Then that would be more than Aburi Accord. The North didn't accept anything close in 1967, they won't now. A peaceful restructuring won't happen. MKO saga was the best time to achieve it. The North were under the most pressure to compromise. |
Congrats. |
UDUJ:So you mean such men na MVP? ![]() At times some men can dick anything female. But at times also a lady's status/position makes her sexy, not face or shape. Our money men can be very randy and see sex as a tool of domination. Like the strongest male apes in the wild. Only that money, status and connection determine a man's power these days, not stamina or strength. There are many house girls finer than a governor's wife. The fine girl might end up marrying a vulcaniser or baba onikeke. |
MrBrownJay1:Equally, guys should seriously avoid women who bring nothing to the table. Boobs, pancake face, ass and vagina are not what a woman bring to the table. Since a man also cannot quote his dick and stamina as his contribution. If you date a lady who only demands and never asks if you are investing your money well, drop her. Unless she has other redeeming non-physical attributes. Imagine you date an accountant, a banker or someone in such money/economic sector but never mentions investment. Flee. You do not have to be engaged or married first to care about his future if you are genuine. Generally if you sense that a girl is just desperate to escape poverty, check if she loves you. Because chances are she loves your money. Probably 80%. Test her if you must. If she's among the minority who loves you for you, then you are lucky. |
mmars:So in your opinion corruption hasn't ruined it yet? All Na see finish. NASS collect their share from all MDAs. Maybe they want increased share this time. |
About time too. |
sesan85:Chai, see a very pained person. ![]() So pained you could not even read to understand. Despite your claim to omniscience and wisdom of king Solomon, you couldn't see where I wrote that your kings may well have been known as Obas, possibly much later in history, they never appended the title Oba. You are quoting what someone wrote in 1840s. Can you compare that to a letter written from Benin to Lisbon by a Portuguese in 1516 clearly mentioning Oba of Beny (Benin), and Benin-Idah war that began over a year earlier and still raging at the time? When Benin sacked Akure in 1818 and beheaded their king Arakale for rebellion, all documented evidence never attached the title Oba to Deji of Akure. Same was the case with Kings' titles throughout lands that the Muslims later baptised Yoruba (to mean untrustworthy, deceitful, unreliable, etc). Let me remind you that many yoruba people come with their condescending attitude, self given title of over educated and sophisticated, like they founded Oxford, Cambridge, Harvard, Sorbonne, Heidelberg, Bologna, Leuven, Karolinska, etc. They then argue blindly hoping to get no opposition. They end up swearing like a common agbero so prevalent in SW. I Know your antics by now. ![]() |

As late as 1940s, no Yoruba king used the title Oba. Yes, people knew them as "Oba". But why has Oba become part of every King's title since the last 40 to 50 years? How did it become generic? Copied from an illustrious user of that name. That is a fact. You are the super ignorant one. We have discuses the topic on Nairaland now for nearly 10 years. Generic ko, genetic ni! |
Nice. |
Good. |
BuhariNaWah:Lol. |
I support Dr. NOI. |
