Jesusloveyou:The question remains : were you with them as they agreed these billions with PDP? Do you have someone inside Edo Exco or in another position to know? Unless you do, do not argue anyhow. Forget not completing projects. Oshio made EDO one of the most indebted states before leaving office. Only behind Lagos and a couple of others. He could have used money to build his Iyamho mansion and import albino from Cabo Verde, and invest in aviation business there to finish his projects. |
UdechiHD:Nice cute green Palace. |
Ok |
Adiwana:Lol. You forget the power of money to intoxicate. Nigerians are generally the worst scammers. They eat and put oil all over their face. Way too loud and ostentatious. Always the same errors. |
mrsirval:Hushpuppi thought he was sophisticated too. You really call a group with garrulous people like Oshiomhole, Amaechi, El "Ruffian" Rufai, Umar "Stuffing Dollar" Ganduje and others sophisticated? The word sophisticated lost its meaning in Nigeria long ago. Especially when the self-acclaimed sophisticated zone has so many agberos, million dollar boys, under bridge touts, etc. Nigeria has no sophisticated politicians. Period. Bullion vans, godfathers, cornering our commonwealth, election rigging, inconclusive election, vote buying, and all that have nothing in common with sophistication. |
madridguy:Actually he was careful. If not he would not have got away with for so long. Upon the high level flaunting. Me thinks he added money laundry for his associates along the line. But no matter how clever, an error will always occur. Something he won't know was significant. Money is too powerful and ONLY very few can control themselves when getting obscene money easily. If not he could have left yahoo years back. Clean up his tracks and enter legit hustle. But it's easier said than done. ![]() |
Mvici listen, you need to grow up. God forbid you pass away, you want your wife to grieve for over 5 years? How will grieving for long help her or the kids left behind? Your mum was in her late 40s when your dad passed on. Moving on after three years is even good enough. Love shared when alive is far more important. Your dad doesn't see or care about what happens later. Who says having kids means a widow cannot date or remarry? Love & companionship are enough to remarry for. Not all about sex or kids. In the event that the kids are still young, one can only hope and pray that the new man is a good father figure. Is a woman moving on after some years not better than a woman cheating on her hubby when he is very much alive? In case you don't know, about 30% of all kids belong to another man outside. Unless you want to maintain the archaic practice of your uncle inheriting your mum. Otherwise I see no reason for her to keep waiting unless she really wants to. It should not be out of guilt or obligation. Death is the end of marriage. |
Jesusloveyou:Well, were you always with them to know what transpired? Who doesn't know that money changes hands during electioneering? You believe rumours of 6billion that you now inflated to 10 billion but do not believe rumours of 35 billion your Burdillon Road bullion van Toronto Lord is crying he used to elect Buhari. See your hypocrisy.I'd rather believe a governor bold enough to openly say Oshiomhole wanted Edo State billions in his pockets. A governor has much to lose if he fabricates such a lie. Let Oshiomhole sue him of it is lie. |
Megaflex:At OP, see a chest/respiratory physician if you are really worried. Especially if she has not managed it well before now. Otherwise by now she will know what triggers episodes (if she does get such) and which medication work well. First forget stigma and fear. Asthmatics live very normal lives if managed properly and at the right time. You will get many advice here, some good, some downright potentially dangerous. NEVER use Franol (Ephedrine) for asthma when she gets pregnant. Only doctors have have run out of options and specifically prescribe Franol. |
pastorcyrus:Oh boy this election in Edo is a true heartbeat of the nation election o. It's more than than just an election. It's a matter of defeating or forcing godfatherism on governors, legislators and other elective offices. Governors from APC know their fate can be determined by one senile and greedy godfather somewhere. Something they are not too happy with. |
rationalhuman:Maybe not Mars, but maybe you can claim they came from Saturn or Jupiter. ![]() |
After all these your expertise about Bollywood, how many Indians know Tontoh Dike, Funke Akindele and other Nollywood actresses or debate which is more beautiful? I used to discuss with Asians how we enjoyed watching Des Numbri, Sholay and other old Nollywood bluckbusters. When I realised just how little they want to know about anything African, it began to look foolish. I never showed them that I know anything about or was ever interested in their film or culture ever again. |
rationalhuman:After your cut and paste remember that the same Western researchers first made it clear that All humans came out of Africa. Then why are all humans not black like Africans. In fact the world has more people with lighter skin. Including China. You simply forget how people change phenotypically over millenniums to adjust to environment. The gene that codes for skin colour can so easily mutate that albinos abound in most races. |
yinkus6750:It happens. He has probably lived longer in USA than in. Nigeria. Foreign raised kissed do not value money above all else. His wife may not even be a typical African woman. NOI also resigned as foreign minister. |
SmartPolician:UK even just excluded USA from the list of OK countries to visit released yesterday. ![]() People in AMERICA listen to Trump Daily. Don't be surprised if they begin to believe the rosy picture of how great USA stamped down on Covid-19 quickly. Germany and Greece for example did far far better than USA. @Op, if your visit is not seriously essential, no need going. Flying and airport are still risky places. Not Just destination. |
Ugonwaeze14:White where? Even Indians born & bred in Europe, away from the hot sun of the subcontinent are not white. Fairness of skin is very highly desirable in India/Pakistan, etc. Especially in marriages. Many have confirmed it firsthand to me. There is much discrimination against the darkest among them like those from Tamil Nadu region. The lighter skin Indians were originally from Persia axis, who invaded and drove the original darker Indians South. |
How a woman who knows the pain of bearing a child first hand can be this wicked is to quote Bubu "shocking". This is simply evil. |
Why are they are they all looking so light-skinned and could pass for Southern Italians/Spaniards? They must have bleached or edited their identity away. Anyway, Indians, Congo/Zaireans, Nigerians/West Africans are the skin bleaching MVPs. |
Shakaranews2020:Na wa o. Very sad. You mean locked up by Chinese employers. |
osazsky:You know them. Their argument will turn to who thief pass. Now imagine the many people in positions with all these wives and concubines to pamper. Even if 9ja had 100 times its current budget it won't make any difference. They'd just steal more. |
Na wa o. |
Olu317:Hahahahaha! Ah welcome. You finally showed up after shying away for so long. The matter is this: There was no single Yoruba identity until imperialist jihadists baptised SW lot as deceitful & untrustworthy people yesterday here. A name that even Egba were wise enough to reject for a long time. Ubini, if we believe the story, was given by a Yoruba raised guy who obviously saw how fierce, no nonsense and gallant Igodo people were. Igodo came first, Ubini used alongside it over 1300 years later. Before Ubini could establish, Edo became the common name. Even now, a Benin (nothing like Bini even) person never says I am Ovbie Benin (Omo Benin). It's Ovbie Edo (Omo Edo). Ask anyone. It's ethnic politicking that the new State was called Edo State. Edo geographically originally was capital city of Igbodomigodo/Benin. Bini as an ethnic name is in the use of others. Even as it was from the beginning. Those from Edo North & Central feel better with the name Edo, since the Europeans took the name Benin Empire and popularised it worldwide. Whereas Edo is used exclusively by Benin Edo people. A very warped logic showing how little people know their history. It's like if people from Owu are skeptical of the name Egba State but accept Abeokuta State readily. ![]() @ Olu317 I would 1 million times rather be called brave, fierce and no nonsense by anybody than be called a green snake in the green grass, deceitful or such very badly derogatory stuff. Like FKK, I'd immediately deny such a name. Afonja as official tribe name would be better. At least it's indigenous to SW albeit what it now connotes. ![]() |
muykem:Where is Buhari's WAEC, with error or without error? |
otokx:Nobody ever said ONLY. Even in UK about 70 to 80% of Covid deaths are over 70 years old. Why some young people will die, some with known and with previously undiagnosed illnesses, most deaths will be in people well over 50. |
Lumig:I think a young Nigerian like Hushpuppi will make a great finance minister, CBN boss, EFCC boss or even president. ![]() Nigeria is not ready to fight corruption. Because those with the constitutional powers and means to fight it are the key beneficiaries of corruption. Simple. The masses are powerless. Or rather are not aware of the power they can wield. They have been pauperised, defeated, emasculated and cowered. But it will eventually end in tears for the elite and ultimately the masses. Impunity of the elite has already removed the possibility of a middle ground solution. Anarchy and chaos will be inevitable. |
softset:Remittances can easily be more because firstly lots of our oil output is stolen. Drilling firms connive with politicians and influential people to take oil offshore without FG getting a dime. Oil companies avoid taxes again conniving with politicians. A top Dutch diplomat (Mr Smaling) working in Nigeria just got fired days back after blasting his country Holland and other Western countries for aiding and abetting such corrupt practices in Nigeria. Nigeria's oil out put fluctuates badly. The often quoted 2 million bpd is misleading. Of late we had about 60 shiploads of crude oil in the High Seas. No takers due to Covid-19. And it is going to get worse. With the whole world gradually going green, soon only natural gas will be our major export. Whereas those in diaspora sending money for feeding, rent, medical care, school fees and various projects are consistent. Be it monthly, quarterly or annually. Also the population of diaspora Nigerians swells from year to year. |
sonnie10:Lol. |
SmartProf:Kikikikiki. Maybe rice stew stain will be on it. APC people Na clown. ![]() |
When will they start shooting corrupt people like China does? Because corruption is costing lives. People not paid on time die of poverty, equipments and supplies absent in hospitals kill patients, military hardware not bought cost lives of soldiers, etc. It should become a capital crime. |
awesomely:Please forget this misleading notion of better immune system. We are better immune to diseases we have been exposed to for centuries and millenniums like malaria. Europeans are tougher against winter flu that has been in temperate regions for millenniums. There is not immunity without historical exposure. In the case of Covid-19, older age and underlying illness increase risk. Nigeria has a very young population due to low life expectancy. If Nigeria had many old people, put into nursing homes or other communities with many old people crowded into them, Covid-19 would have swept through them like wild fire too. Because young careless asymptomatic covid carriers would have spread it to them. |
Quite interesting how TAO11 and others are avoiding this thread. I guess because it's not exactly an ego massage thread. ![]() Ghostwon Gregyboy |
