Misleading topic. I thought the groom was left stranded at the altar.
HealthRe: Majority Of Nigerians Who Visit India For Treatment Die . by ayinba1(f): 7:46pm On Nov 19, 2014
The long flights to and fro predisposes the people to DVT or deep vein thrombosis (a blood clot in the arm or leg) which could dislodge and cause a massive PE ( pulmonary embolism) or a CVA (stroke) which could cause instant death or death in a week.

The title of this carnival get as e be!! People should wise up and stay away. We don't want another sory of "we know who did it". "It is not MEND, MEND are my people" "It is Dokpesi and IBB" or "my political opponents"
HealthRe: Turning 30 And Feeling Depressed! by ayinba1(f): 2:43am On Nov 19, 2014
Bored is more like it. Lucky you. You are not thinking about "making it" so to speak. One way to cure this is to find a new goal and devote your energy to it to make it work. You are not quite challenged with your daily activities.

This is more common around age 40!

Good luck to you though
BTW; You missed NOTHING!

07:30am - Just saw him. Saw his doctor too. Today he will be doing.
1. Blood film

2. Abdominal-pelvic ultra scan (the one in surulere)

3. Protein Electro-phoresis.

After these tests, they would have full details of what is wrong with him and we can get more information.

He just had breakfast and he is stable

My dear if you can bear it from age four till this your present age then you can still bear if till you finally gain your freedom.Your father may not actually hate you ,you may actually be the child he loves most but he doesn't know how to show it.You know some of our parents made a lot of mistakes while growing up and they don't wish their children to do same.Just maybe the only way he thinks he can prevent you from doing that same mistakes is to be harsh to you. Please Ơ̴̴̴̴̴̴͡.̮Ơ̴̴͡ his treatments as training. Also put it into prayers because there is nothing God can not do
The evidence of love in deed. Please love is shown in action.

@OP. I feel for you and hope that you figure out the best way to handle this.
IslamRe: Who Is Your Most Respected Muslim Lecturer (scholars) by ayinba1(f): 10:49pm On Nov 15, 2014
balash:
Am really not much fan of outside nigerian scholars basicly because of some aspect of fanatism and extremist nature of some of them, they make it look like everywhere is rosy like there country.

I only stay with nigerians because they know what we going through and any lectures delivered would go with decisions based on what the country provides. I don't know if u get me on thishuh
I love listening to Sheikh Muyideen. Balash, you are right about some of the foreign extremist preachers but have you tried Mufti Menk or Nouman Ali Khan. Their preaching is directed to "muslims". Some of Nouman Ali Khan's is tailored to fit the American (life of luxury) mindset. But it applies to us Nigerians at home too since na copy copy America everyone dey do.
May Allah purify our imaan, Amin

Usermane

Not really based on Qur'anic teachings you say? And what is not based on Qur'anic teachings is your yardstick for deciding the true meaning of the Deen.

Please do us all a favour and read well, digest properly and check for loopholes before you come out.
Salaam.
Dear sister,
This is one of the characters you will try to ignore. Imagine people having a goal of ensuring the following
1. No useful Islamic knowledge is to be disseminated on this subforum
2. Insisting that Islam is what "muslims" do wrong, not Quran, not Hadith
3. Promoting bad acts committed by some muslims as justified by some obscure Hadiths or what some Sheikhs said while turning attention away from the Quran
4. I think the last one is called derailing or trolling. They will find you examples and before you know what is happening, your page 2, 3, 4, 5 have no relationship to the topic.
Be aware of them. If you venture to agree with them for the sake of progress, they grab another bite to chew on!

May Allah safeguard us., Amin

Hi dear, thanks for the response. I've gone for a scan examination and there was no report of any lump. Was scared because of the pains I was feeling in the breast tissues.

Biopsy? But there is no recurrence of a lump.
Glad to see this. Thank God for every thing

Salam alaykum
Sometimes I wrap my hijab, stick the pins in and the front part which should cover the bust falls short. This is especially bad with v- necks. Ah haba! Hajia wetin dey show under this your scarf?
This happens more with the shorter width scarves.
I try to find those scarves that can fulfill the Quran injunction of head covering to cover bust.
May Allah make it easy for us all. Amin

I thought that may have been the reason behind keeping mum on the name of the hospital. Thanks for explaining, I don't think he needs a ton of phone calls or visitors at the moment.

I want to trust that the hospital is competent.

HealthRe: BR€AST CANCER Amongst Nigerian Women by ayinba1(f): 1:28am On Nov 14, 2014
@Candygosh and Hephzi

You both are really strong, courageous and generous to share your stories this way. There are many females that do not do the monthly self breast exam, your bringing awareness by sharing your stories could very well save many lives.

If you can get pure honey and black cumin seed, try adding this to your daily health regimen by taking one teaspoonful of the mixture daily and believe God for complete healing.

I pray God grants you healing. Sorry I cannot be at your planned awareness program to support.

BTW, pink is cute

Candygosh, Odunharry, xcelsia, Hephzi, Osyxcel,
Thanks for all your replies.

Candygosh, the lumpectomy was done in 2012 at University of Abuja teaching hospital. Can I still request for the extracted lump at this time?

Will go to UCH this week and I will be sure to keep you guys updated.

Will try to start eating healthier from now on...

Thanks guys!!!!
Hi,

I wanted to respond to this. You need a new biopsy. Forget about the lump removed from the procedure 2 years ago as the information from it is already 2 years old. I wish you well and hope that your follow up tests bring you results that are healthy and cancer free. Please do the follow up.

So Is he going for biometrics before admission?
Does he and brother already have passports

This appears to be an important part of the process. Do we need to constitute a team to look into this Or is an individual at TEHN already working on this?

researchQ:
I hope the hospital you guys are taking him to have dialysis machine and can handle kidney issue like his pending when he gets to India? my bp raised reading this. He needs to see a nephrologist. I don't believe that St. Nicholas don't have bed space for him. You are telling her to calm down? as a medical professional she has said it from the very beginning that his case needs very urgent and timely visit abroad before it affects other part of his body and nobody listened. Now it has affected his kidneys. 2 major organs failing and you are saying calm down? We don't have TIME!
Kudos to all on board for their efforts. Can you provide the name of the newly agreed upon hospital? Some people may have more information as to their capabilities and reputation.
FamilyRe: Nigerian Bride Who 'waited Till Her Wedding Night' Tells Her Inspiring Story by ayinba1(f): 12:21am On Nov 14, 2014
It is very good to keep your virginity till your wedding night only if you do it for the right reasons viz to obey the commandment of your Creator to "not fornicate"

Having said that, I look forward to the day people would stop lying about "God"!!!!!!
God said to me, God said to me, God said to me........ Haba kilode.
That part of the story nor do am for me.

Unfortunately, the "Nigerian Bride"
Here we go again. The world reads this and ,...................

IslamRe: Should Muslims Partake In Halloween? (big Debate In Malaysia/us) by ayinba1(f): 7:01pm On Nov 03, 2014
@usermane.
When did you begin to attach this much importance to yourself and your approval?
Live and let live. There is a reason for leadership and decision making. There are non muslims who do not celebrate Halloween.
If a muslim country bans the pagan based celebration so be it. One country's style is different from the next. Remove your utopia of the ideal free society and submit to your Creator, willingly smiley
IslamRe: Should Muslims Partake In Halloween? (big Debate In Malaysia/us) by ayinba1(f): 3:27pm On Nov 03, 2014
It is not part of our religion, logic boy. We do not have to copy any one. We have not compelled non muslims to celebrate our Eid and we have not complained about them not celebrating it. We also have not asked people who are not Muslims to not celebrate haloween.
Costumes, ghoulish decorations, scary gizmos that you spend money on yearly, the question here is "why do you do it?"
Stop losing sleep over muslims. We will not become like you no matter how much you long for it. We were created for a purpose, to worship Allah. Meaning to remember Him in all our affairs. We live with purpose. Our religion is a complete way of life, we do not copy.

Live and let live
