There is absolutely nothing wrong ingetting the facts straight.

If the female cop did not actually bring down the shooter and the male cop actually did, it is very wrong to present it a different way. I am a woman and if the story was reversed, I would feel a discrimination occured because a female cop got the job done and it's a man's world.

Racism or not, why not get the facts straight before you declare the wrong cop a hero

Haba, you are so immature. I have not been on Nairaland for a while. I saw this post today at work and responded to it. What Major Hasan did was wrong, he took the lives of people he was there to help. He was on that premises on oath, he was not being attacked, as far as we know. Okay.

I am not defending his actions, be him a muslim or otherwise. I go to work every workday that I need to and I do not wish to be gunned down by anyone for any reason.

That is the angle I approach it from, So pray tell why you are so quick to use the term "despicable hypocrite" in your response to my post.

I don't want to call you "abiiko" because you may very well be "akoogba". Please brush up your manners of dialogue.

Again the incident was a great tragedy, let us respect the dead and not use this as an opportunity to negate the progress that we have made.

The events of the Fort Hood shootings are really sad. For the victims, their families and the family of the perpertrator. Investigations are ongoing to understand the motive behind the major's (who happens to be a muslim) action.

You do not have to be a muslim or non muslim to condemn what he did. When a crime is commited by a christian, it is just that, a crime. Once it is a muslim, some peoples brains go into overdrive and hold every muslim responsible.

It is however utterly disgusting for some posters on this forum to disrespect the memories of those who are gone by turning this into another opportunity to create a spectacle.

Please think, at least, a little before you type.

To answer the question on race and "intelligence" while trying not to throw out more questions; I did not watch the documentary but was told by my sister.

I advised her that the reverse is probably the case (i.e) blacks are actually superior to whites. (Yea though I try to be non racist)

Now think about it: Sports; Politics; Medicine and you name it in our so called western world today, you will find that when blacks are given a chance, they tend to excel way beyond what the whites have done.

This is how it should be regardless of your religion. By arresting them, they were pretty much in a state of surrender, so why turn around and kill them?

Nigeria, unfortunately, has no rules but you David, know that this is wrong ( I know you hate muslims, you need not remind me) yet you chant "death" each time, Now imagine it was your brother,  a christian arrested for anything at all, and subsequently being shot and killed; that would be wrong now, wouldn't it?

Abuzola explained himself clearly about anyone being a muslim will finally enter Paradise. The muslims that performed evil acts will receive some punishment but will be forgiven by Allah or via an intercessor ( a muslim or the Prophet (pbuh)) .

Seriously though, let's not take these people too seriously. The rice had already arrived before the NSA sent out their report. We're just in the same cycle of deception in which we've always been.
