Is my faith stronger (as a Hausa muslim) than a Yoruba man because I am willing to seek him out (we prayed in the same mosque) once a riot breaks out between Northerners and southerners in Bauchi, and kill him in cold blood? Or the Yoruba muslim woman that was being mobbed in the bus (by Hausa muslims?) while she was reciting the 99 names of Allah?

Seriously, I wish you would enlighten me (us) as to what tools you employed in making your assesments and drawing your conclusions.

we do not dispute the fact that some Hausas think that way but that does not make it right. What Jarus is stating is that the Hausas with understanding and knowledge will not think that way.

The fact is that northern nigeria is the way it is and not only muslims, christians too. It is hoped that they will take a leaf from the Western part of the country and live in some degree of harmony.

And don't lecture me about northern christians, I lived with them for a long time too!

For the sake of argument, the question you asked will better be answered by an Arabic linguist--note: not necessarily a muslim.
So, I will not be able at this time to answer you. However, you know that Allah is God in arabic, (Babs explained the name Allah very well.) yet you continue to bold and enlarge your al + ilah = Allah.
That is the unintelligent part of your post and was the reason why I appealed to your intelligent side for better questions.

no muslim insults (or ought to insult) Prophet Isa (AS) or nany prophet of Allah for that matter. We do not say he is the son of Allah, no do we elevte him to worship status. We ccord himm respect and send him salaam (peace) as we do other prophets of Allah.

Prophet Mohammed (SAW) was a man (mortal). Again, we muslims do not consider him immortal. If people start to kill and claim it is because someone insulted Mohammed (SAW), it is because they have limited understanding. Nowhere in the Quran are muslims commanded to be trangressors.

We will attempt to address your questions to the best of our abilities.

we say we are muslims, yet we fear people calling us names. What have we done for the religion of Allah? A question we should individually ask ourselves before we are asked (in the grave).

We fear others? how about Allah (SWT)? What names was rasullulah not called? we have diamonds and we are shy of the one with copper.

I do not advocate childish insults and curse words, I appeal for the truth which you will find burns the unbelievers way worse than any insults. We all have learning and growing to do. If we use this medium, (the internet), for personal needs, we have no excuses then not to do dawah.

what does the bible say about the one who calls another a fool? Answer is in the bible. As pertains to sicklove, he posted that he did disgusting things with the Quran. All I did was let him know that the end is woe for anyone who does that; some people live to tell the tale but not everyone does. If he desists from such acts and hating Islam and the prophet of Islam, ALlah is most forgiving.

Besides, if what you believe in is so powerful, why are you afraid of a post on the internet? In your heart you know that what you follow is falsehood. If you change your ways, you are always welcome into the fold of Islam.

we muslims have spoken on this forum many times against things that are unislamic practised in Arab/muslim geographies but our points are not good enough especially if your mind is made up. Why would you take osisi's word over any muslim's? on an Islamic issue?

At the university, I met a muslim guy; he told me that he was interested in dating (with related stuff-sex etc) but nothing for the future.--he was being honest; but that was not what I needed, so I turned him down.

My Arabic teacher was "pretty holy", a fellow student, and I really wished that he would ask me to marry him--honestly, I would have jumped at the chance because all I wanted was to get closer to Allah and wow, he looked like a good route. Alas, that was not meant to be, he had someone else on his mind.

Long story short, the muslim sisters are out there but if you approach one requesting a "typical" dating relationship, you have really offered nothing new to her, those kind of r/ships are a dime a dozen; the question is why do you approach this muslim sister, the answer starts with you!
