Actually, it is misuse of religion that is part of what is turning the world apart.
Proper use of religion by accurate teaching of the holy books and their philosophies bring about intellectual liberation in addition to the hope of life after now.

Why is a hope in the after life needed? Religion promotes belief in the unproven. It promotes mysticism. Sciences promotes belief in concepts with backing evidence. Religion doesn't. Religion has outlived it's usefulness. Religion is not required in today's world.

If God is perfect and he created man in his perfect image, then why the need for circumcision? Altering God's perfect image would make it imperfect.

It is anti-life, anti-mind, and anti-knowledge. I cannot accept this. And no religion can prove this other world exists, nor convince me why I must believe in it. But you may try if you wish.
