You ..yes..you reading this .. why aren't you making plans to leave this hellhole? Is this the news you want your kids to read everyday? Tanker explosions are no longer strange to Nigerians anymore because it's a daily occurrence. Is this life you want your kids to become accustomed to? Why aren't you making good plans to leave this doomed nation? You probably love it here but I demand a concrete reason for why you want your kids to go through the same desensitization to what a good life actually should be like? They don't deserve this and I'm pleading on their behalf. |

It should come across as shameful if you are an adult and you need to be told to not do these things before you don't do them. For god sake these things are basic moral values every right-thinking human should have. These are normal altruistic properties. Christianity is not a reliable basis for moral values. A religion where slavery is justified and genocidal killings are not uncommon is a religion that is disqualified from being a basis of a concrete moral code. TVSA:Most religious people are the worst people to engage in business with. it is a risky venture to engage in business with someone who hears voices from the wind and can act according to those voices. My advice is to stay away from transacting with these sort of people or at least never to give them the benefit of the doubt. |
My favourite parts of the Bible are where a book supposedly inspired by the all-knowing all-powerful ever-present being contains all sorts of contradictions and ridiculous errors...sounds like a book that was written by different authors in the dark ages where ignorance was the norm. Interestingly a lot of Christians don't even know that such jaw-dropping amount of discrepancies all occour in their "perfect" and "holy" book. 1. Who incited David to count the fighting men of Israel? God did (2 Samuel 24: 1) Satan did (I Chronicles 2 1:1) 2. In that count how many fighting men were found in Israel? Eight hundred thousand (2 Samuel 24:9) One million, one hundred thousand (I Chronicles 21:5) 3. How many fighting men were found in Judah? Five hundred thousand (2 Samuel 24:9) Four hundred and seventy thousand (I Chronicles 21:5) 4. God sent his prophet to threaten David with how many years of famine? Seven (2 Samuel 24:13) Three (I Chronicles 21:12) 5. How old was Ahaziah when he began to rule over Jerusalem? Twenty-two (2 Kings 8:26) Forty-two (2 Chronicles 22:2) 6. Who was the father of Joseph, husband of Mary? Jacob (Matthew 1:16) Hell (Luke 3:23) 7. Jesus descended from which son of David? Solomon (Matthew 1:6) Nathan(Luke3:31) 8. How did Simon Peter find out that Jesus was the Christ? By a revelation from heaven (Matthew 16:17) His brother Andrew told him (John 1:41) 9. Where did Jesus first meet Simon Peter and Andrew? By the sea of Galilee (Matthew 4:18-22) On the banks of river Jordan (John 1:42). After that, Jesus decided to go to Galilee (John 1:43) 10. When Jesus met Jairus was Jairus daughter already dead? Yes. Matthew 9:18 quotes him as saying, My daughter has just died. No. Mark 5:23 quotes him as saying, My little daughter is at the point of death. I could go on to 100 FOR REAL

No, I disagree. Being a clergyman has conjob written all over it. Your success in ministry is directly related to your ability to deceive and milk people out of their cash. This explains why poor pastors are more likely to be regarded as "genuine" or "true" than rich pastors. But the truth remains that even the poor pastors are just the unsuccessful ones in the business. |
100km/hr using a Toyota Highlander. My number one fear is tire blowouts. And then portholes. On a bicycle which I ride most approx 45km/hr on Eko bridge.

I must have been a serial murderer in my past life to have been born in Nigeria this time. NOTHING IS WORKING INSIDE THIS DEAD CON3. See video quality of a whole national TV looking like it was recorded using a 2005 Nokia C3. I spit on our leaders and the greedy people that took one bag of rice + groundnut oil to vote them in. ![]() Useless failed marriage, this country. |
Asquare84:This is just false lmao |
Youngsage:Should be nothing less than 60km from Lekki conservation centre. So if you're driving at 120km/hrm it's a 30 mins journey. Pretty far |
Conner44:Read a book other than your stupid Bible would you? Humans did not evolve from apes. Humans and apes evolved from a common ancestor. So humans are apes. You should know that but I would be expecting too much from someone that believes that snakes and donkeys talked and that all the animals in the world assembled in pairs in a single ark during a global flood.

JJOF:Why are you not in church?? ...Jesus needs your money now .. don't be a thief. Go show up and sow that seed bitch |
femi4:Speak for yourself. I was not born into original sin. keep your guilt-tripping, fear-induced, baseless and hapless faith to yourself.
|
oluwaseyi000:This is deep. One of the saddest things about being a Christian is that you would most certainly be blamed for your own misfortune. It is either "you were negligent..." "Not fervent in spirit" or my personal favourite "god's plan." Christianity is just like any other cult out there. At least it is run like one. |
So according to you deluded Christians there exist a god who supposedly created the universe with a million galaxies and billions of solar systems and trillions of planets ONLY to care about what we wear and who we have sex with? Lool

To massage the ego of a sadistic, masochistic, misogynistic, vain, invisible, insecure, totalitarian, powerless Jewish deity called Yahweh. And of course to enrich the pockets of pulpit bandits in the name of god.
|
Why the Bible was written? Easy. As a tool of stupefying and controlling the gullible as well as a valid means of justifying black slavery.

Hey you yes you reading this...When are you leaving Nigeria? This country is cursed and is almost certainly never going to get better. Why aren't you making plans to move into a better clime? You deserve a better life. Your kids do. All these bad news everyday and nothing will be done about it. The citizens are getting acclimatised to daily display of horror and madness. Nigeria is one of the worst places to live in as it stands. Leave this hell hole. It's a füčking sinking ship. |
What right do the older generation think they have to give the average Nigerian youth life advice after they ruined the country with negligence, incompetence, corruption and overreligiousness? Was this the country our great grandfathers left for you? Now don't dare try to heap the blame on our mentality for a problem you all caused. |
paxonel:Why is a hope in the after life needed? Religion promotes belief in the unproven. It promotes mysticism. Sciences promotes belief in concepts with backing evidence. Religion doesn't. Religion has outlived it's usefulness. Religion is not required in today's world. |
Mount starts. BTW I think we need an FPL league for NAIRALAND managers. Who's in? |
The government is merely a reflection of the masses. I bet if there is an election tomorrow there are people that will be happy to vote for even this failed government. And several others will change their mind provided they are given N3000 or two derica of rice + 1 satchet of groundnut oil. Nigeria may never be great. Leave if you can. The problem is not the government it's the masses. The odds of redeeming such a large number of idiots is close to zero. |
Vulcanheph:The afterthought was basically satire. So would it follow that Christians believe Jesus's foreskin rose as well when he was resurrected? Medically, circumcision slightly decreases the possibility of infection in MALES. In females, however, it is completely dangerous and non-benficial. |
skyhighweb:You mean? Google search the Spanish Inquisition. It was a particular time in (Christian) history. |
skyhighweb:Have you heard about the Spanish Inquisition? I bet no. Do some research about that topic then come back. |
Simplecity:Cats are very fluffy creatures. Good to pet. And as someone said earlier. Clean creatures. |
Simplecity:A lot of people have misconceptions about cats. Until they get one. |
Omobarca:Yes. They're still available. |
raniola:Hi yes, they are still available. Apologies for the delayed response. |

Afterthought 1: Was Jesus circumcised? If so was his foreskin also raised from the dead? |
If God is perfect and he created man in his perfect image, then why the need for circumcision? Altering God's perfect image would make it imperfect. I still cannot wrap my head around how one who look at a beautiful newborn and decide the next thing to do is how and where to chop bits off of them because a religious belief 2000 years ago says it. |
Why I believe all religions are false: Because they necessitate mysticism - which is acceptance of allegations without proof, which are separate from or completely against the perceptions of the senses or one's reason. Religion requires some non-sensory, non-rational, non-definable, non-identifiable means of knowledge, that we call "revelation." It requires us to reject as inferior the reality in which live - the one we know is real; the one we can see, touch, feel, hear, and taste - and accept as superior, some alternate reality - one we cannot perceive. It is anti-life, anti-mind, and anti-knowledge. I cannot accept this. And no religion can prove this other world exists, nor convince me why I must believe in it. But you may try if you wish.
