i just had a rude awakening...

i feel so lost!

i ran into one of my school mates after 10 years... and there i was holding a black water proof bag while she called me from her mob...

no words, e b lyk say make ground swallow me!

we exchanged numbers and she showed genuine concern but its so fuxked up i cant dare ring her

am such a loser
If you see yourself as a looser, you will remain a looser. Where's your self esteem and the value God has placed on you?
God won't send the devil to help you and even if the devil offers to help you, will you accept?
Just chill, ring her up cos she's someone you know. God might use her to help you no matter what you think of yourself or her helping you. There's nothing wrong with your mate helping you. Only pride will make you not to call her and pride always go before a fall.
Be humble, mate.

Sadly for you, Jona that you voted for and supported and still supporting with all his PHD was the most useless and incompetent president in the history of Nigeria, a worthless president that accumulated the largest oil wealth in the history of Nigeria, more than any president ever, but after 6 years in office, he did not commission anything meaningful, no road, no bridge, no hospital, no refinery, no electricity, nothing, just looting and stealing and sharing for 6 years.

So, exactly what did Nigeria benefited from Jona's PHD?

Don't be an unfortunate buffoon. Bag of pure water(now 700),rice(over 20k/ bag), garri(10,000/mudu) etc didn't sell as high then. Fuel wasn't 160 naira per litre and neither did the naira exchange for over 400 naira for 1 US$.
Inflation, unemployment, insecurity etc nothing to cheer about.
So, you see how unfortunate you want to be by that comparison.

The Olu of Warri as he is popularly called rules only the Itsekiri tribe and has no rulership over the Urhobos and Ijaws of Warri. The Urhobo and Ijaw speaking part of Warri has their own Kings.

Education / Re: Easy Ways To Pass Your Courses... From A Bad Boy With A Good Result by BananaPeel(m): 8:02pm On Mar 27, 2021
MejiLoyon:
Someone we hoped would do very well in school just told me his CGPA. Turned out that the wonder kid we saw him as was actually an EFCC personnel. means the efcc letters are his grades. Absolutely woeful.

I didn't blame him much, with this school na scam mentality everywhere. The purpose of this thread? " Bros you enjoy school, you drink and you nack and you party. Yet you pass well". I didn't give him the "na God" reply. I gave him some tips and I hope this will help other EFCC personnels out there.

1. Never miss lectures. Lectures help you train your brain. Listening to the words coming from the lecturer to me is an expo in the exam hall. I see the question and in my mind I press play. Boom lecturer appears in my mind's LCD screen and I'm off.

2. Be very hydrated.. Drink lots of water. Food might be scarce but no let water scarce. Processed information fired up the nervous system are electric like. Water keeps the brain well conducted. Information has no problem storing.

3. Love what you're reading. I've heard I don't like this course...oga like am. If you no want like am go meet the lecturer turn am to your friend. Like the lecturer you like the course. Once a course is difficult you see me hanging around the lecturer. Wait I was playing my hair so naturally they didn't like me. But when they see a boy that should be drinking beer and is obviously a smoker trying to know Fourier transformation they want to help.

4. Read a chapter, close it and jot down what you understood. If you miss some read it again. Do it again and again till you mastered it. Then when you wake up and before you sleep recite it. Or get a mirror and say it out loud. It will stick.

5. Don't do guerrilla reading. That means reading for exam or tests. Always read ahead. I start reading from the day of resumption. No be when exam come people go full class. In fact exam periods na revision I dey do. I'm always comfortable. Read ahead.

6. Read in your comfort zone.. some like music, some like noise, some like silence. Choose your poison. For me I use Enya. Play Enya and everything I read sticks.

7. When sleepy....sleep. don't force it. Back then I used candles to burn myself. After reading the next morning ask me what I read na foul. Dem don go. When sleep come pack up and sleep. Make you no go Kolo.

8. Organise book clubs and tutorials. For me it was an avenue to get ladies. Later I found myself mastering a topic so that I can teach it later. I gain both ways. I get the ladies and still pass grin. Don't be like me though. Do it for the knowledge. It'll help.

9. Limit your flexing to weekends. Drink well enjoy well. Weekdays face school work. Pity your mama.

10. Remember your family. Imagine their faces when they realise you've been wasting their cash. That one alone suppose ginger you...

On a final note have reading partners. People you read with. They help. Shout out to lord fuga....., Wande oko, olu......., Yango.....,mayo..... and the rest of my crew. Hope you all are doing well in your lives.

Never forget, keep your university circle tight. After graduation na only one or two friends they remain. So why pack them?Me na 0 friend remain.

I hope this helps someone out there.
The Fourier transformation I read make my ear tweek as a Chemist. Men, I read sha, never failed one single Chemistry course, Undergraduate n Postgraduate. School sweet with all the other stuff... hahahaha

Romance / Re: Married Ex Wants Me To Manage Her New Business by BananaPeel(m): 8:04am On Mar 25, 2021
Draslo:
I'm not going to bore you with an epistle.

We dated between 2016-17. We had a mutual break-up cause I went to Ghana for a bit (5 months. I needed a change of scenery). We spoke and chatted at intervals before we both ghosted each other. I heard she got married to a big shot Abuja guy in 2019.

Fast forward to Saturday evening this past weekend, I got a message on Instagram from her. Long story short, she opened a beauty spa in Abuja in December. She wants me to help her manage it. She knows I have my commitments in Lagos but wants to take advantage of the fact that I visit Abuja once or twice a month. She proposes that I can come only on weekends since my weekdays are almost fully engaged, ensure her books are balanced and she'll pay for my return flight every Friday. I asked if her husband is aware of who I am. She stuttered and I just knew he doesn't. She will pay well but it's not about the money. It's more like granting a favour but I feel she's got an ulterior motive somewhere. And me, I have a soft spot for her and my flesh is very, very weak.

Do you think I'm right? Or maybe I'm just being paranoid?

Modified.
I'm sorry to say but many of you reason like kids. I have no intention of sleeping with her. I'm principled never to sleep with any of my exes. Do you have any idea how many women are on this planet? What is wrong with the lot of you? I just find it hard to turn her down because she's such a good person.
If you really want her business to grow and care so much about her business you will tell her not to pay for flight tickets. Does she make that much profit to pay for flight for you from the profits?
She should channel the profits to grow her business and ask her husband to check the books for her. Her husband is the best person and most trusted ally no matter how busy he is. He can check them in the confine of their bedroom.
Don't put yourself in that position no matter how you trust yourself. Give no place to the devil and resist the devil and he will flee.
Wisdom, my brother, when properly applied will do you good and save you from imminent danger.

As a consolation, a random Twitter follower took to her DM to gift her a whopping sum of N175,000 as a token for going through such stress for being a beautiful lady.

Romance / Re: Do I remove This Baby? by BananaPeel(m): 7:58pm On Mar 03, 2021
tommie1:
I have an issue bugging me and I need some serious advise because I have been very indecisive so far.

There is a lady I'm seeing. She came to my place a few weeks ago and we had sex, first with condoms and later without condoms.

However, I gave her some money to get postinor when she left for her place the next morning.

That morning, I asked if she got the drug when she called to say she had arrived home and she said "yes".

I called her again that evening to ask if she had taken it and she said "yes".

A few weeks later, she called to say she is pregnant.

As I later found out, at least according to what she said, she took the drug the next day after arriving at her home and not on that day she told me she took it. She gave some flimsy excuse as to why she did it but it does not matter anymore at this point.

At this moment, we are considering removing the baby.

While I have been very indecisive, she has agreed to go with whatever decision I take and has spoken to a doctor who will do it this Friday.

However, I am unsure as of this moment if I want to go on with this because even though I am done with uni, I do not think I have gotten to that point where I can shoulder more responsibilities.

I am self employed and somewhat financially okay but not in a way that I can take care of three people, particularly a baby. I was okay as of 2019 until COVID came and turned my life upside down last year.

And believe me, I was really glad I was not married as of last year because I went through hell. Serious hell. The lockdown finished me.

I am slowly recovering (very slowly) and still trying to figure my way out through life and rebuilding what I lost but I am afraid that having the burden of a woman and baby at this point may derail me.

And I really do not know who to turn to when I am unable to provide for the both of them.

What do you guys think? Do I go on with this or just let the baby be?
Those telling you to remove the baby are children.
Keep the baby, nurture him/her and you will be glad you did.
If you like the lady, of course you do to have had sex with her, marry her(simple court marriage) and of course the paternity of the baby must be confirmed.
Don't be scared, you are ready for life now.

WE WILL NOT SUCCUMB TO BLACKMAIL TACTICS – PRESIDENT BUHARI WARNS BANDITS

President Muhammadu Buhari has described the latest abduction of hundreds of students of Government Girls Secondary School, Jangebe in Zamfara State as inhumane and totally unacceptable, sending out a strong warning to bandits and their sponsors.

Reacting to the incident on Friday, President Buhari said that "this administration will not succumb to blackmail by bandits who target innocent school students in the expectations of huge ransom payments."

According to the President:

Deathisfree:
Hi I’m going through a very difficult face at the mm.

I own a 3bed room bungalow, my friend own one too but few plots away. We bought the land together about 8 years ago and we’ve been a very good Neighbor.

When my house got to roofing, this my friend gave me some money to complete it. Infact he’s my alpha and omega, we’ve been a very good friend from secondary school.

I don’t mind if he’s seeing this ,I really adore and appreciate our friendship but at the same time. I don’t want his marriage ruined becomes of me.

December 2018, my friend got a visa and travelled to the U.S.A, when he was leaving, I drove him to the airport, he told me to please take care of his wife and I should watch over her like my own wife but unfortunately, the lady has been giving me lots of altitude so I decided not to go check her any more when ever I am around.

To shorten the long story. I work in a company, I did go home mostly Monday’s to Wednesday, my works was mostly weekends but last week i was shifted to weekdays so I go home weekend now, I have been observing a young man and my friend’s wife sneaking in and out of their house.

A woman sells provisions in our street, she told me about the guy few weeks ago, she said he always comes buy Hollandia yoghurt at night also said the first day the young man came to her shop, he came to buy a condom she has been wondering who the guy was.

Yesterday one of my co worker came around 7:30pm and I was in his tinted hilux, I saw the guy smooched my friend’s wife ass,she quickly removed his hands and they went inside ,the young man drove my friend’s car and they went inside

With everything happening now it’s obvious the lady doesn’t care again. Because I don’t see a reason why she has to be fornicating and knowing we stay in the same street.
I am so heartbroken, my friend doesn’t deserve such wickedness. Right at the moment I don’t know what to do. I believe telling my friend isn’t the solution. Please I need advice And I’m available for any question and advice.
Be a brother's keeper and a detective. Get real evidence and tell your friend before showing him that if it will cost both of you your friendship so be it but you can't hide it from him anymore.
Send him the evidences. That wife is capable of plotting his death when he returns.

If you are giving small money in church and you feel you should do better according to God's blessing upon yourself, pls do.
Don't see it as giving to the pastor but to God.
You are doing well in your giving to the needy, it's a privilege.
It's between you and God. Your conviction but I believe you have been in church long enough to know how much you should give to God as offering.
Give according to the blessings of God upon your life.
