nope!, they are nt stupid cos every1 is entitle to his/her opinion.

Dis happened last month, a guy i knew in church was killed by these petty thieves.

He needed cash cos he was planing his traditional marriage and drove to an ATM unit to use his card nt knowing that these guys where watching him.

Wen he tried his card, the machine didn't pay becos of network and decided to leave.

On his way back to his car, he heared hey! And turned to look bt saw 2 guys approaching him wit aggressiveness so he took to his heels and one of the guys shut him, he died on the spot, they searched him n didn't see cash on him so they left immediately.

2morrow wen they get killed by a mob u guys will start condemning people's actions.
It does not matter what they did. They are not the law. The law exists for a reason. It is what separates us from animals. Disregard it and you and you are no better than animals.

Tesla was born and raised in Austria. He could not achieve his greatness in his home country, he had to leave his country and come to America to achieve this. America had the right atmosphere to make it happen. There are more examples like he's in the history books.

People often wonder why America is the greatest country in the world. The reason it is, is because it creates opportunities for it's citizens to prosper. You want to start a trucking business? The government has already created the opportunity by building good roads. You want to start a youtube channel? The government has made power available 24 hrs a day. There is a reason why almost all the great inventions in the world were invented in America. The funny thing is, most of the inventions were not invented by Americans but by people from other countries who came to America. They were able to use the opportunities in America to make their works easy. Thomas Edison is credited with making the light bulb possible, but it was Nikola Tesla who made electricity possible for everyone. He was Austrian and he did it in America. Nigerians don't understand the concept of CREATING OPPORTUNITY. Instead of creating opportunities for it's citizens, the government is busy looting and squabbling. God help una.

Only that in this part of the world, we like deceiving ourselves, hence, expecting new and different thing.
And the reason this happens is because it's citizens allow it to. If i had a chance to ask God one question, actually two; (the first would be why make me be born in Nigeria) it would be, is it the policy in heaven to drop some of the babies going to Nigeria on their heads before sending them on their way? That is the only way i can justify why and how Nigerians reason and do things. Nigerians do things the same way and expect a different result. That is the definition of stupidity.

All he did was pass his exams as he was supposed to do. Nigerians are acting like he found a cure for cancer. Bill gates was 20 years old when he started Microsoft and the American government did not go crazy. If anything Seun deserves this kind of attention, if any. Seun has done more for Nigerians than many Nigerians have to date. He created a popular platform where Nigerians can air their unbiased views. Nairaland is the best check on the government we have as Nigerians today. Why? because it's member views are undiluted (though slightly biased depending on your upbringing and mentality). Seun deserves a ton of credit for that. Nigerians are too easily dazzled and dangerously emotional.

My offence is to expose your America. Go and read my first post where I said it is still advantageous for an adult male to go abroad for a while. Where I disagree with you is on where best to bring up children. You don`t see that as a big deal. I do. I can`t see the nonsense in that
It is better to bring your child up in the west. Way better. Are you not their father? you talk as if they would be raised by someone else. Society will not raise you kids for you. Plus, it would be advisable to raise them there so their mentality would be right from childhood. I showed my kids a story of how a criminal was burnt to death in Lagos and they were looking at me like i made it up. In Nigeria, it is normal for children to get used to shiit like that and not value life.

The fact that you don't know that the joke is on you underlies how grave your situation is. I would seriously advise you to get the hell out of that zoo called Nigeria as soon as you can. Legally though. The country affects the mind as evidenced by your argument. I know you want to leave but circumstances have not afforded you yet. And yes i do love my life in the west. Who doesn't love 24hrs power supply, good roads, constant opportunity to succeed, quality health care, and being whatever you want to be. Oh i know, Nigerians don't which is why they don't have these things. Bros, stop arguing for the sake of it. It is not a must to win an argument even if your points are insanely ridiculous.

That's how he said road tax, what in the world is road tax? huh huh That's how one said that you have to show your GC everywhere you go? Like huh... Says who? And the list is ENDLESS...It's amazing how much they claim to know.
If i was petty, i would go outside right now, take a picture of today's paper or a sign or something with your moniker stamped on it. Alas, i am not. Not everyone will have the same opportunities, but what i hate is when people who don't know any better or are so used to the jacked up system in Nigeria come here and argue ridiculous points just for the sake of it. Who in their right minds would choose a phucked up society over a well functioning one.

Get out of your comfort zone and see the other America. Nigerians get to America and London and base everything on what is happening to their inner circls, then go on public forum as an expert. What you are experiencing today, I have experienced it a decade ago, that is why I said the joke is on your friend and you.
You and i know that deep down you know for a fact that you are talking nonsense, but the Nairaland mentality where you have to win an argument at all cost prevails. So, you will not choose an organized, well functioning society over a run down one, right? ok.

You are not serious. Have you heard of Rodney King before? Keep on deceiving yourself! A Nigerian that emigrated to America in his 30s or 40s is not even a second class citizen. On top are the Whites, doesn`t matter whether he/she is from Zimbabwe. Next are the African Americans who are followed by the Latino and Asian Americans. People like you then start to fight for somewhere to fit in in the 5th or 6th position. However, if you get there in your early 20s or you are already a professional, with a little bit of luck, you can make something for yourself
The problem is, when one black is successful in America, 100 have been destroyed by the system, but tv and propaganda would only follow that single success story shouting American Dream. Show me the statistics that ever put America as one of the best countries to live in the world. America has never made the best 5. I personally have never seen it make the best 10 when it comes to the standard of living of her citizens. You are impressed with America because you left Nigeria where nothing works to America where a couple of things work. You can be forgiven for seeing America as a paradise!
If only you knew. You don't live in the U.S, but have a very good understanding of the life in America. Ok. Carry on. Just know that google will never give you all the answers you seek. You have to live it to understand it.

Sending your kids to school in Nigeria allows them to speak your native language with all the discipline and respect for elders that go with growing up in a Nigerian environment. Then, of course, that might mean nothing to you. Many private schools in Nigeria are better than government schools in America where drugs and guns are the order of the day. Success is a matter of definition. It might be that you don`t face racism in America because your ambitions are minimum.
I weep for your mentality. With all your "respect", where has that put it's citizens and the country? Nigeria is among the worst countries in the world. At least if the citizens grew up with "respect", there would be respect for life, respect public property, respected for your surroundings (Nigeria is among the dirtiest countries in the world), etc. The problem is, you are so used to suffering, you don't know a better life. Jesus, i thank you for my life oooooo. Do you hear the laughter of Nairalanders? it's getting louder and louder.

No jungle justice? Where does black lives matter come from?

Good roads? Do you pay road tax and council tax regularly or not?

Round-the-clock securiry? Can`t be in UK and US, or can it?

Be whatever you want to be? Racism and your age make that tricky

Better education? only exists in private schools which are not affordable

Better standard of living? Debatable if you are not a professional

All other things being equal, far better for kids to go to school in Nigeria than abroad, especially if you are not poor

But still more advantageous for adult to go abroad, at least, for a while.
I read your comment and i almost started weeping for you. Do you know what the stockholm syndrome is? it is when victims become emotionally attached to their kidnappers. You have been kidnapped by the suffering in Nigeria to the point where you have started to like it. Google can never give you all the answers you need. You have to live it to understand it.

There is no country without crime. What matters is the response from government and it's citizen.

I really don't understand your comment about tax.

Racism? The excuse of lazy people. I was not born in the U.S but i have never experienced a day, minute, or second of racism. How is it that i am successful?
