RomanceRe: If U Dont Fear Anything, Pls Fear Quiet/introvert People. They Are Very Wicked. by Beamborla(f): 5:04pm On Sep 11, 2016
OP, if what you have written is true, I don't think it's fair you blame it on his introverted nature. Some people are just pure evil, introvert or extrovert.

True, introverts can keep malice for years that's because they are extremely sensitive and less expressive. Bottling up so much hurts makes them bitter. You mentioned that you two do make fun of each other. Somewhere along the line, you might have gone way overboard and like the extrovert he is, he kept bottling them up.

The onus is on us to understand the personality trait of people around us as this will guide our relationship with them. You don't joke with an introvert the same way you joke with an extrovert.

I'm a mix of phlegmatic and choleric. More of a phleg, though

From the comments so far, it's obvious you guys only want sex as a reward for whatever you give in a relationship yet you still go ahead screaming ladies have nothing to offer in a relationship aside sex...pathetic!

OP, I don't care if this story of yours is true or not because there are lots of ladies facing the same dilemma.

I'd give my church mind, relationship is beyond materials items and sex. It's about bringing out the best in each other, pls, always have that in mind. You should know when to say no to some financial and material gesture. That said, you've made up your mind to stay celibate, try not to compromise it be you a virgin or not. Do not compromise... Sex can not keep a relationship.

Let me ask you this one, what have you benefitted so far as a 'patriotic' citizen of the federal republic?

I do salute our gallant men/women who lay down their lives for a country who do not recognise their service.

Some of our sportmen regret ever representing a coutry who do not give a hoot about their welfare.

So i ask again, is this country worth dying for?
What have I benefitted, nothing.

You still don't get my point, you can't compare sportsmen with the armed forces. They are just way too different. Nigeria would still be Nig. Without the sportsmen but do you think you'd still be able to sleep in your house with relative peace of mind tonight if not for them.(armed forces)

My point is, they are not fighting and dying for 'Nigeria', they are fighting and dying for you and I the common man.

I should throw the question back at you. Are you worth fighting and dying for?
RomanceRe: Bondage; I Need Help. by Beamborla(f): 8:34pm On Sep 10, 2016
Start by telling him you are no more interested and give him your reasons. If you must, make him feel guilty and blackmail him emotionally for cheating on his wife.

Who am I to judge you? Good thing is you are ready to change. It will be difficult however, because you are not remorseful for dating him just yet, you only want to leave because you want a future.

When true remorse and total repentance set in, it won't be difficult to walk away.

SweetPoison22:
When you see him, pls ask his this question, "is NIGERIA worth fighting and dying for"
Like every typical and unpatriotic Nigerian, I'd answer 'no' on his behalf.

However, let's look at it this way, if not for them, you and I would probably be dead by now. Even with their sacrifice, thousands have died.

Your question sounds like, are 'we' worth fighting and dying for because 'we' are what make up Nigeria.

One can commit crime in two ways
1. Commission (The act of actually committing the crime)
2. Omission (Failing to stop a crime when you can)

OP You are an accomplice and you are as guilty as your friend. Maybe the same fate befall your own.

actually its a crime. aiding and abetting by doing nothing to prevent the act or reporting afterwards!
From his original post, he did not commit any crime against the law but he has committed a great crime against humanity. He didn't aid nor abet the act, he actually turned his face.

My opinion, though. What I understand

seriously, where is it written in the Nigerian constitution that if I see something and I choose to turn my face away become a crime?
It's not a crime, brother. But you see, one day, either by your own doing or not, you'd probably need help and faces would be turned away.

Lolssss a lot of times when i see u dumb girls say "tall dark and handsome" i just laugh like wth do they even knw what they are talking bouthuh that term applies to white people not us my dear we are all dark even arabs and indians are dark...u guys seen too many hollywood movies and read too many romantic novels and fantasize about crap grin grin

Tall, dark and handsome is a very old trope. In the 20th century Hollywood context, 'dark' was likely to mean a man of European descent who was physically strong and had been exposed to sun and air, a man who worked outside, with building, agriculture, or the military. A so-called 'man's man.'

This would be in opposition to men of European descent who worked inside, who were judged to be weak and physically inferior. Clerks, lawyers, businessmen, and other pink, pale types were frequently spoken of with contempt in this context.

Hope u learn something
I agree with you totally. You are right, that is what it means. However, the use of some cliché evolve over time...so many of them we use today that didn't mean what they meant back when they were invented.

When a Nig. Lady use it, you don't need a soothsayer to tell you she wants a man with a dark skin color. We are all dark, yes, some have got melanie while some don't creating a difference in our dark shade.

You don't laugh when guys say they want a fair lady but it's funny when a lady says she does not want a fair guy.
