PoliticsRe: Apapa-faction To Atiku, Obi: Emulate George Weah, Congratulate Tinubu by benjaminlawson(m): 8:51am On Nov 20, 2023
Apapa, let it be known to you that if Liberia election was conducted by one Yakubu, the sitting president wouldn't congratulate the president elect, if election umpire of that country shot down irev, refused to make available all materials used to declare the winner, no sane contestant will congratulate the winner.

How does reporting your father to your neighbour solve the problem of your father being a bad man? Are you not your fathers son? For good or for bad you inherit anything ascribed to your father. So when you go exposing your father, you are cursing yourself. You think other families don’t have their own problems?
If your father is wicked and you are covering and support him, one day he we use you for money rituals, you better expose your wicked father so that you can help him out of his wickedness, or you have not heard where son disown father or father disown his son. My advise to you is, if your father is wicked you better expose him before his evil doing will back fire on you. Look at the bible, 3 families behaved wickedly; Dattan, Korah and Abiram in the Bible, their fathers behaved wickedly but family members partook in their punishment, check it in Numbers 16 for full account .

Are they not, the SANs corrupting our judges as we have seen in the past?
Please talk reasonable, how would you say some SANs corrupt our judges, it means they are epitome of corruption themselves, how would one corrupt another if he himself is not corrupt. That is why some political cases are assigned to this type of people, because those people know them before given them the dirty job.

DeLaRue:
This is not the way to speak of your country at an international forum.

Making unguarded and unqualified statements that denigrate the entire judiciary is ridiculous.

So all children and spouses of judges appointed into the judiciary in Nigeria are unqualified. And Nigeria is the only country where offsprings tend to follow their parents into their parent's professions. It doesn't happen in other countries huh

Do citizens of those countries go to international fora to demand intervention of external international agencies in their country's internal affairs?

Every little thing, some Nigerians will shame their country on the international stage, calling on the UN, USA, UK, EU to intervene. Is it down to colonisation-induced inferiority complex or what. You end up giving foreigners the impression that black people are unable to govern themselves.

Painting the entire judiciary as corrupt is disgraceful. Many judges are some of the hardest working and most poorly paid professionals in Nigeria. Many of them are not corrupt. It is so unfair to paint them all with the same brush.

Just because you're contesting as a Labour party candidate in a forthcoming election, you took to running the image of the entire judiciary through the mud before an international audience.

Are there no corrupt judges in America, Europe, South America etc. Do you see their lawyers running their country 's name through the mud at international conferences and calling for external intervention.

Challenges within the judiciary are not unique to Nigeria. Like other countries we have to find our ways of addressing them locally.
I don't understand why you people are deceiving yourselves that one is running down his country internationally, apart from the world comes a global village, those people there know what majority of our nationals did not know. Also when some people felt that they have captured everyone through the instrumentality of security agencies, then people will definitely look for outside help, look at judgment being given by our so called justices, how many of them are actually based on our laws, but always on technicalities, that is why their judgment always contradict each other. Look at a case of politician who was tried and find guilty by a judge and sentenced to prison, they later released him from prison on the ground that the judge that tried the case has being transfer when he gave that judgment, so his guilt has been transformed to acquittance. We cannot definitely continue like this, there must be an intervention, where that intervention come is what we don't know, all those that are playing God in our affairs should beware that power only belongs to God.
PoliticsRe: NLC Releases Statement After First Day Of Strike, States Demands by benjaminlawson(m): 1:28pm On Nov 15, 2023

Which faction of the NLC?

Ajaero is from Owerri Zone wants to be Governor of Imo State and that's why he has been trying to sabotage Uzodinma. Now that Uzodinma has said Owerri Zone will produce the next Governor Owerri zone rallied behind Uzodinma.
Now, Ajaero knows he's out of the equation, and he's throwing tantrums.

In the next few weeks, the NLC will be divided and the short end of the stick given to Ajaero. He can be competing with Simon Ekpa on who can destroy economy most, but he should sha not let Hope Uzodinma catch him. grin
Ajaero own will not be a sin, Oshomole fought Obasanjo government and also join opposition in the fight, he came down from NLC leadership and contested as governor in Edo state and spent 8 years. So if Ajaero also nurse the ambition of becoming a governor he leant it from Oshomole, those of you talking now, did you condemn Oshomole then, all of you should keep quiet.
PoliticsRe: Labour Strike Not In Nigerians’ Interest, Says Oshiomhole by benjaminlawson(m): 12:55pm On Nov 15, 2023
Oshomole, during your own tenure, the strike is in the interest of Nigeria, but now that you have become a politicians, strike is no more in the interest of the nation. But know this, NLC was not establish for the purpose of defending Nigeria Interest, but to defend the interest of workers. The government that is elected to defend the interest of Nigeria have abdicated from that duty, they are renovating non dilapidated building they don't even live in Lagos with 7 billions, buying yacht for billions, buying multi billions cars, when we are being told they inherit bad economy from their predecessor, that people should bear the pain, but they are wasting the money they even borrow on non essential and white elephant items, these are the people that are not acting in national interest, not people protesting beaten of their leader, and by implication all Nigerian workers had been beaten under the supervision of politicians, and you expect them to fold their arms.
PoliticsRe: Datti Baba-Ahmed: Supreme Court Didn’t Affirm Tinubu As Winner by benjaminlawson(m): 8:51am On Nov 07, 2023
I dont know who have done this to us in this country, all of you that are defending the so called winner, are you all politicians? Instead of us to direct our energy to pursue and demand good governance, we are fighting and defending those that put us in this abject poverty. Let politicians be fighting each other and let us lent our voice to ensure good leadership. Recently some people who have come out from social media to let Asiwaju know what the common man on the street suffers. A government that informed us to endure pain must not be seen living in affluent. See all what they included in supplementary budget? Is It time to buy yacht, is it time to spend 7 billions to renovate two houses in Lagos, while suppose occupant are staying in Abuja, buying cars worth multi billions naira for government official, where common man cannot afford one meal a day. Those with vehicle have started selling their vehicle because they cant afford senseless increase in price of fuel, SMEs that depend on generator because of lack of power has been thrown out of business whereby poverty is being multiply. The list is endless, these are the issues we need to bring to the attention of leaders, not insulting oppositions.

Bobloco:
Imagine a party who fielded a same faith ticket in a religiously diverse nation like Nigeria accusing Peter Obi of campaigning on religion.

This is a party that hired fake pastors and clergymen to endorse their demonic Muslim Muslim ticket, employed bigot like Bayo onanuga, FFK and engaged thugs, hoodlums, bandits to kill, maim lives, destroy properties of people believed to be from a particular ethnic group because of their democratic choice
I agree with you, but because they are hypocrites, that why they are accused him of the offence they also committed.

Dis one want kill himself on top Tinubu matter.

Funny thing here is that, he can only scream, curse and insult, but there is absolutely nothing he can do about that. And all those curses, screaming and insults exist only on electronic pages.

Tinubu is not even aware someone is about to commit suicide on his matter.
If your above statement is true of our democracy, it means democracy is doomed, how would someone say that opinion of citizens are not matter in democratic dispensation, if truly it is electorate that elect that individual. You can go ahead and sample the opinion of masses, you will notice that you are an orphan in this matter. You are one of the people that encourage our leaders to misgovern us.

Boystainless:
JUST PLACE YOUR HAND ON YOUR HEAD AS YOU KNEEL DOWN TO ASK GOD TO GIVE YOU SENSE
post=126776533]NLC at this point has outlived its purpose and has turned to a political party. Acting on proxy for Peter Obi and Labour Party.

Why are you going to protest in a state where the members of your union said they don't have an issue with the Government? And holding a protest few days to elections. What is your plan? Can't he go to Bayelsa where the civil servants are not being paid up to N30,000 minimum wage and are grieving and crying out?

APC has come to stay in the South East and
nobody is going to take them out.

I have not hidden it here and i will keep saying it that NLC is acting on behalf of Labour Party. The party they endorsed during the last general election. A Labour union that is taking political side.

NLC has no value again. They have shown themselves that they are political.

NLC Chairman: "them beat me oh"
Me: na testing the microphone and gates of beating just got opened.

Modified:
For people quoting me, let me make it clear that I have no single pity for his predicaments and beatings. He caused it himself. He learnt the hard way.. He should have gone to other states that are crying for help where their state governors have failed to implement the minimum wage. But he choose Imo State that doesn't have a problem with the government to protest few days to election.

Them do am well.
What you wrote is not tenable, Oshomole was used by opposition party to fight sitting government, he was not at any point victimised for that neither was he arrested by the police, to prove this allegation, he contested under this opposition party immediately he came down from labour president.
PoliticsRe: Assault on Ajaero: Labour Lists Six Demands To Shelve November 8 Strike by benjaminlawson(m): 10:16pm On Nov 03, 2023

God helps you to achieve your stated goals. Corruption is the major challenge facing this country, taken corruption out of our system common man will enjoy dividend of democracy. But how the chairman will achieve this is what is worrisome to me, in a situation where the chairman of ruling party will publicly declare that join our party and your corruption sin will be forgiven, I don't know how he is going to balance this with following the law he claimed.

Managing to pay salaries, but enough money is available to loot and engage in extravagant life of luxury hotels and expensive cars for legisluters. But when ever it comes to taking care of masses money will suddenly disappear from government covers. God will punish as many that make life unbearable for ordinary citizens of this country, but continue to embezzle our resources.
PoliticsRe: Senate Forced Into Emergency Closed-door Session As Ndume Stages Walkout Of Plen by benjaminlawson(m): 9:19am On Oct 18, 2023
This is shame to our mumu southern Senators and Rep members, throughout buhari's regime that all southern borders were closed, non of them raise the issue with NASS leadership then, much less of leading to working out of senate by any of them. Or the Northern Senators did not collect prayers in their boxes? or exotic cars were only shared to southern senators? What always makes southern legislators to be second hand legislators is what beats my imagination.

Britishpea:
Are you not one of the people that will become one of leaders in the future, if God wishes?
What are you doing differently? Aren’t you using every opportunity to attack even when the intention is good?

Are you even laden with wisdom to understand that Nigeria of today is a reflection of the over 25 years of past failures to understand that it will take a serious amendment coupled with untoward hardship to reposition it.

You are talking about subsidy right? We need subsidy in Nigeria but def not on that scam of fuel. Have you ever sat down to think of a better way to channel subsidy and come up with a word of advice for that?. But instead what do you do? To come on every post like a rattle snake and spew rubbish as usual. To be an attack dog even when the intention is good.
The case is a case of someone who abuses his father 2/7 calling him names and yet expects him to pay his school fees.
If you become a leader today what would you do differently? Would hate not consume your wisdom? The hate that you have nursed unconsciously overtime

For good leadership there must be a virile follower ship. High time people like yu stopped crying like bush Babies and embrace change.

Government will never satisfy everyone. There must always be scarcity of resources.
Some of you people sometimes argue blindly, how would you compare issue of government with father and children relationship. Tinubu is are servant, he begged us before few people voted him, he has no option but to abide with what we desire as entrenched in our constitution, but a father can determine the direction he wants his family to be.

How can citizens build trust around a band of people who criminally forced their way into govt? People who are election riggers/electoral criminals, certificate forgers, BH terrorists sympathetizers, bandit advocates, corruption indicted senate president, a COS indicted in credit card fraud and 419 in the US?

How can your government shamelessly lied of Tinubu being the first and only last African leader to be invited by a seating US president for side talks @ the UNGA? How can the same government nauseatingly lied to Nigerian of the end of the same fuel subsidy they called a fraud from inception, but have shamelessly been perpetuating same fraud till date?

What about the senseless lies about spurious non-existent IGR by the government you subserve, but still on an endless borrowing spree Mr minister? Who is fooling who?

How can well discerning citizens trust leaders who brazenly lied to them and even made lie telling and propaganda the official policies of governance and administration? How can Nigerians believe the certified criminals in a govt that reeks of moral rectitude? Abeg make we hear word.
I totally agree with your assertion, that is why any sane Nigerian will not believe in them except those sycophants who depend on them for proceed of their corrupt activities.

PoliticsRe: President Tinubu To Chair Newly Approved Presidential Council On Industry by benjaminlawson(m): 9:34am On Oct 17, 2023
Industrialisation with infrastructure deficiency like electricity, good roads and insecurity everywhere is just an empty noise. Also, even if the goal is achieved, who will buy the products of industrialisation, in country where 133 million people are living in abject poverty, the remaining one can hardly afford basic necessities, only less than 1% who are policy makers and politicians are living affluent life. So as we trying to industries, tackling of poverty must be be taken along.

tinubu should appoint whoever he prefers is more competent for the job, even if they are from the same family, what we need is good performance, but if they perform poorly , tinubu's region must accept that they failed nigerians.
we are in emilokan season 1 .

Nigerians must find a way to solve Nigeria's problems. UK, US or EU don't care about you. If the person has money to spend in their country and boost their economy you think they will just listen to your petition?

Besides, a thief can spend his money in Dubai, Bahamas, Singapore, Brazil, etc. Our politicians only need the western countries for their education and universities for their children. As long as their children can go to those countries, they're fine. Heck! they even prefer to stay in Nigeria here while going abroad just for vacation.

If we can't find a way to deal with bad leaders here, then we're stuck. Nobody is coming to save us.
I disagree with your assertion, by the time these countries place a ban on them, it will affect their children from schooling their, don't forget that their health life is the hand of these countries. Apart from this, they enjoy buying houses, store their looted money there, all these will make them not to lose the opportunity to visit these countries.
