Some of us are just blaming the students, what of parents that are paying some of these teacher to engage in malpractices during external exam or register their children at the so called miracle centres. If we want to eliminate the menace, all hand must be on deck, from the students, parents, teachers and government. Blaming the student alone cannot solve the problem. |
Ogsirsolo:The past federal government appointees are they the one that remove subsidy? Or is it because they only made provision too June, but, your oga did not even wait till that June ending before the subsidy was removed . Even if budget did not cover July to December this year, why not send supplementary budget to cover the rest of the year, if they truly mean well for Nigeria, they will realize that subsidy removal without proper planning for palliative and domestic production of fuel is an act of insensitivity to Nigerians plight. |
Let them continue to work for themselves, next four years is not far. They have short memory that about 80% of them did not return. The masses are waiting for them. |
Goodman2023:Am on the same page with you in this, why Mele maintain his job is yet to be understood, after leading Nigerians to this untold hardship, the president still allowed him to inflict more hardship on us. The people the government regarded as foes; Emefele and Bawa because they are perceived enemy that want hinder electoral success are kept behind the bar, but the like of mele and others who are enemy of Nigerians are allowed make us suffer the more due to their corrupt activities. Custom boss asked mele kyari that are we drinking oil? When you know we are consuming 60 million litres, why are you releasing 100 million litres to the market? Up till now, no one has interrogated that statement, but the man is still keeping his job. |
This who our subsidy removal money will be spent, while Nigeria masses will continue to suffer. All AU subscription and dues has been settled, another big brother Africa is loading while poverty has skyrocketed in Nigeria. But Yoruba adage says ile la ti ko eso rode i.e. charity beings at home, but charity of our leader starts from outside, while the home is neglected. |
Bobloco:I totally agree with you, the money the state governor will be looted even without paying workers salary and other development programs. These governors have been advocating for subsidy removal so as to have enough money to play around, while Nigeria masses are bleeding because of hardship. God will punish all those that make life difficult for common man. As the common man were told to make sacrifices, the government have not take any step to combat corruption and check contract inflation, which is the bane of our development. |
Where is this governor, when during Buhari no Naira was given to the southerners, even the then minister of humanitarian affairs Sadiya, was not ashamed to open her mouth wide and told Nigerians that she did not share palliative to southerners because they are not poor, and that they have people abroad to send money to them, I have not seen any northern to call to order. |
eyinjuege:You talking out of ignorance, saying law and medicine profession have their children in the profession, is that the argument here? We are talking of the person who is the chairman of NJC, who is the head of selection committee, did he come down from his seat as chairman when they want to consider his son's matter? Mind you this not a private company, it is a Federal institution where all Nigerians have a stake, he even sworn that he will not allow his personal interest to overtime National interest. |
Engrduke:Please, there is no dispute about your assertion above, but where the problem lies in Nigeria is that, whether they are qualified or not they are automatically selected, in fact this days no advertisement is always place for public to partake in the selection process. In a situation where there is no public knowledge about it, and no competitive selection process, how would you determine one's competent? On the issue you raised that this people trained their children well, Do you noticed that most people that did well and excelled are not from well to do family in most cases, go and check WAEC , JAMB and first class products from University, majority of them are not from well to do family. What I tried to prove is that let them allow competitive selection process, then if their children are qualified no one will question them, but reverse is the case that is what make people to talk. |
Nigeria will be better when these set of wicked people we called our leaders were swept away by the wrath of Almighty God. How on earth would someone contemplating just ten thousand naira addition to salary, when fuel price was increase by more than 200%, which has led to increment in the price of every commodity in the market. This are people that has been fighting for removal of subsidy in order to have more money to be embezzled. The governors should not try that madness by proposing peanut for citizens, while they continue their wasteful lives. |
These people need to simply tell us that they intend to collect their share of the loots. NNPCL will come in and request that they want to fund the sitting of the probe committee. Whatever the out come, will either not make public or die a natural death. They set up committee to determine our daily consumption, but the investigators came back and sing the same song with NNPCL that our daily consumption of PMS is unknown, because calculating our daily consumption has become a rocket science that differ all solution. Nonetheless, this is new assembly, we will give them that benefits of doubt. |
tolue42:Stop your ignorance, Nigeria is blessed with abundant resources, but mismanagement and corruption on the part of our leaders had hindered us from enjoying God given blessing. On the issue of population, are we not hear during the election that some regions are boosting that some men have 20 to 30 children, with the intention of dominating other regions that controls their birth rate, with this kind of mentality, would any one be surprised that our population is escalating. |
SmartPolician:For information, what Nigeria law legally recognized is the result declared at polling unit and uploaded to irev for all Nigerians to see, not the one that is meant for politicians. This is what makes the different between previous elections and 2023. Guilty conscience and God's judgment will definitely visits those that compromised our electoral system, except those that are not involved. |
Nigeria is turning to something else by our judges, they have forgotten that they the last hope of common man. |
Mainman 7 or what did you call yourself, your long epistle is blaming Buhari, but you failed to blame the person that foster buhari on us. The man have quietly retired to his village in Daura, when the self-centered man went to invite him back to politics, now tell me who the greatest blame. You talk of cabal that are stealing our oil, these people, are they above the law? How many of them was arrested and our money stole collected back before subsidy removal? What sacrifice has he made political to make? What I believe is that anyone that wants the masses of this country to suffer more than what we suffer under Buhari, God will divinely intervene and save the masses in Jesus name. |
raumdeuter:JAMB proved it, by opening the result porter for everyone to see, but the other closed up the irev so no one could see. This the basic different between the two. |
[quote author=Jestin post=124301554]This pension allowance will favour me and my family 😂 Note: To those saying this is becoming stale, we never start 😝 [/quoote] Which kind of parochial thinking is this, even if millions of Nigerians are suffering, if its favours you and your family it is OK. Nigeria will never move forward if we have many people like you whose thinking is backward thinking. |
lokoventurex1:Well done, he is the only knowledgable accountant we have in this country, he has even monopolised accounting knowledge in Nigeria, nonsense. |
Hope the so called guru, will not put more tax burden on Nigrrians. But wait, remove subsidy, increase electricity tarrif, tax increament, are they meant to punishement to masses? but yet no committee for corruption investigation, review of inflated contract etc. Nigeria masses must sacrifice, while politians must milk us dry. Yoruba ronu. |
He only postpone our suffering just for some weeks, he dear not challenge the foreign organisation that command him to do so. But when the same foreign bodies challenged the legitimade of government due to fraud electoral process, they now wake up to defend sovereignty of our nation, but inflicting pains on Nigeria they are right and can meddled to our affairs. |
Yakubu should be no 1 scape goat. what Ari did is just about 3% of what Yakubu did. So if mammuud could not face the music of his pervasive act, only Ari should not be punished, because he is only following the foot steps of his oga patapata. |
some governors in the zone that threatened that people will be sanctioned if they obey sit at should be forced to pay the Ransome. |
NzogbuNzogbu:You are so myopic, if you enjoy a government and 90% of your citizen are suffering, are you a normal person. We want Nigeria where all of us we have a better living condition and our lives secured, not where only sycophant like you will enjoy. You also ignorantly argued that people abroad are suffering, your pay master have his children live abroad and purchase property there. If people are suffering there according to your ignorance, would they be rushing there. Even your paymaster, his life is tied there, without them he can sustain. |
Mr. Farooq you are well said, those that are defending the removal are mostly political jobber, who sold the conscience for little money or those who are ignorance of the effects. How would government dancing to the dictate of World bank, is there any developing nations that prosper through following their policies? Corruption is the bane of our development, but that did not bother them, subsidy is there concern. Inflation of contract cost, padding of budget etc is not problem but subsidy. NNPC MD who claim he is releasing 100 million barren of patrol under subsidy regime when we only consume 60 million was not arrested to account for balance, the Nigerian masses will now be a scape goat for his corrupt did. Also, the issue of saying our patrol are smuggled out, did they sack custom CC and DCC or ACC or other principal officers of custom? because the work they are assigned to do they failed to do it, why must they receive salary? All the argument as Faqood have stated is not tenable. Before government will ask people to make sacrifice the politicians must first lead by example. |
My worry is this, how would a person become the richest man in Africa, in a country where 133 millions out of about 200 million are poor, how come? But the reasons are simply, it is government made wealth, because monopoly was created for his goods, tax exemption was offered him, since there is no redistribution of wealth from him, he can become Super rich. The money used to build his refinery is government money according to Emefele, who claimed that the man has paid back substantial among of loan offered him, Also NNPC claimed that government has purchased 20% of the shares in his refinery at 2.5 billion Dallas, even without knowing the value of that share. How would he not be the richest man. Even, if a full is offered all the above he can also equal him in term of wealth. |
They want everybody to become agbero so that they can use them the way they want when they want to dabaru election, because if you not educated, you are willing tool in their hand. And for those that claimed the government has started well, you can see that they actually started well by taken education out of the poor people's reach and commercialise it. They claimed the money saved out subsidy removal will be spent on education and at the same time they said they cant fund education. |
Zxcvbnmghtr:By the time hunger from inflation inflicted by IMF policy, being implemented by your candidate suffocates you, it will done to you that you have made a wrong choice , meanwhile where do all apc members buying fuel at 200 naira please, I want to go there, because as a civil servant I can't afford to fill my tank with 30,000 naira, and I must transport my children to school and go to work. |
qtx:Please its not about education, even if you are educated, God gave common sense of reasoning, but the problem in Nigeria is that of ethic and religious bias that has killed our sense of reasoning. This is what most of our wicked political leaders are using to enslave us continue corruptly enriching themselves, if I wonder how someone will be thinking that party agent result should be taken as authentic result. God deliver us in this country because the truth will exalt a nation. |
Am yet to understand Nigerians, is it because of ethic and religious bias that has kill our sense of reasoning. How would a sane person come and tell us that party agents have the result, then irev does not matter. Is inec working for political parties or Nigerians, even if political parties have it, the other Nigerians is not entitled to the result real time? Irev is a creation of law to check the authenticity of result collated, now if there is dispute in result collated, where do we check the actual result at any level, as it happened at national collating center in Abuja, where Senator Dino was advocating that they should wait until the result is uploaded to irev before they continue the collation, but yakubu did not listing. Nigerians should not say because their candidate was favoured in the rigging then let it be, it may turn to you later. Up till today inec has not told any Nigeria the type of glitches they experienced, all what okoye was saying glitches, and that, he is not technically competent to explain the glitches, then send your expert to explain, after all, even if your so called expert lie, many Nigeria are there to expose his lies. |
Arapmoi22:Is it the people that champion the one they stop? So those people that champion and implement that one stopped should also champion and execute that of cutting the cost of governance and contract inflation, this is the main problem in our polity not subvention to professional bodies. |
Agreed to the decision, but all this stop this, stop that only applicable to poor masses. What have they done or intend to do to politicians and top civil servant who are so corrupt and deceived the government about what it cost to provide essential services. Now what are they going to do with budget padding, whereby computers and other equipment are always included in the budget every year. Contract price in Nigeria is highest in the world, the same government that is denying masses of benefits from government has not say anything about contract inflation, or collection of money for unexecuted project, until they deal with this issue of corruption in governance that masses will know that the government mean well for Nigerians. |
Do we deserve to call anyone our leader in Nigeria. I cannot imaging my leader be it a governor or president after leaving office, the next thing is to relocate abroad. What happen to his village in Daura. Still telling us he should not be asked any question about his tenure. If he can'0t be called to account for his actions, why is the present government arrest Emefele and Bawa, when other appointees of the same government cannot be touched. Even those in IPPS under investigation should be set free. How on earth can some borrow and divert it to individual account, and put us to a situation where our unborn generation will be paying the debt and go free with it. Nigerians must take back their country from from these rogues called leaders. |
