If there is one thing I'm most certain about,it is the fact that the signs have always been there but this lady probably ignored them.

Many ladies have been advised to stay with a violent husband for the sake of the children or to avoid what people will say but I see this as a very dangerous advise that may cause the lady her life.

If you are a lady in an affair with a man whether dating or marriage and he raises his hands to hit you and he apologizes please forgive him and assume it's a mistake if that is his very first time but if he does it again please run cos it is a habbit he may never stop.

If he comes back begging and you are not yet married to him please forgive him but don't risk it but if you are already married to him please make him sign an undertaken in any human right center or police station that he will never raise his hands to strike you again.Dont allow foolishness in the name of love make you stay with a violent man cos your life is far worth more than a miserable union.

No woman should disrespect her husband or man in anyway but no man has any reason to raise his hands to beat any woman because it is an act of insanity and any man who does that is a beast that should not live among humans but in the jungle with wild beasts like him.

And same goes for the violent ladies who are fond of destroying items or threatening with knives or dangerous object whenever they are angry...Any man faced with this type of woman should also run as far as he can if she exhibits such act repeatedly.

This reminds me of a lady I was dating in 2008-2010. She was a very good girl to me, homely, caring and loving. On my own side, I loved her too. I wanted to marry her until she showed me the stuff she is made of.

I had concluded my national youth service and was looking for job, when the job was not forth coming, I decided to further my study. I met this lady shortly before I picked the form, so I think I was giving her all the attention but when the program started fully, I had to face my study while she was not getting the much needed attention.

The next thing is that this lady started misbehaving and suspecting that I had another lady on campus. I tried to explain to her the challenge in postgraduate studies but all my plea fell on deaf ear.

One certain day, we had a quarrel over the same matter, the next thing I saw was that she dashed into my kitchen and brought a knife, I was afraid while my cousin who was with me at that time helped me to collect the knife from her, we bundled her outside and my cousin locked the door while I was with her.

While with her outside, she was vituperating and saying all sort of things before I say Jack, she picked one of the louvers we removed from the window during renovation and wanted to throw it at me. I started begging her, thinking about it later, I have to thank my star that she did not throw that louvers that day.

I was begging this lady with what I have, eventually when her anger subsided, she left. Since that day, I knew I will never marry her. She came begging but I stood my ground.

Such lady is capable of inflicting injury or even kill.so I took a drastic decision, thank God that I did.

Suicide everywhere, when the country is in shambles. Those that were able to eat 2 square meal during Jonathan's regime can not afford 1 square meal a day. People are loosing what they have, life is being threatened, existence is doubted survival is not clear.

I will try to talk from experiential point of view. First and foremost, permit me to say that it is not a bad thing to fall in love before marriage, neither is it out of place to grow in love.

When you fall in love before getting married, hope and expectations will be high, but human will always be man, there is always some behaviour that you may not see or must have over looked during your courtship such that when it begins to crop up in the marriage, you begin to be mouth agape. That is one of the reasons such type of relationship fail. You don't see those vices during courtship, even if you noticed it, you will have another name for it.

Like a friend said the other time, if a marriage should last for 10 years without breaking, such marriage is born for life. I don't know how true that statement is but I will say, within 10 years of a marriage, the couples should be able to know themselves more.

Mind you, there is no perfect woman or man out there, we will always be managing ourselves ni.

On the other hand, when you grow in love, initially, you don't expect much from your spouse but when he or she begins to exhibit the necessary virtue, you begin to appreciate him or her. That is why such relationship last.

Mind you, the nitty gritty of it all is love, of course you can get close to someone you don't like, I used the word like because love in its entirety is very strong and should not be used arbitrarily.

I have heard series of similar stories in the past. I will not doubt this particular one, especially when it comes to reincarnation, reappearing and all that. I know what to believe and what not to believe.

I once head of a story from a close relative, one of the sons died in Nigeria, I think the last born of that family or so. When he died, family and friends did not want to tell his mum who was in the US as at that time.

Later the ghost of the guy went to the US to meet his mum, as he got there, the mum was surprise to see him. The mum started enquiring as to how he got to the US, I think he found something to tell the mum. As he went inside to do something, call came from Nigeria to inform the woman about the incident. From what I heard, the mum did not believe that her son was dead for a long time because to her she saw her son, she believes that he is still in the US.

Stories like this could be true, there is another one that is close that I can also relate to, sometimes ago in Mokola, specifically in Ago Tapa, a vehicle crushed one boy to death in the night, the ghost of the crushed guy went home at that very moment to inform his family that he has been crushed to death. They were inside hearing his voice shouting that he has been crushed to death but when they rushed out, they can't find him, that prompted them to rush to the scene of the accident.

Brothers and sister, I will not doubt this particular story cos "say what, say what, anything can happen".

My take: It isn't a bad thing to do but it is awkward. Like you rightly opined, look for the change before you get to church rather than collecting change here and there.

Just as you can't collect change from a gift given to your boss, so it won't be sensible to do that to God.
