negga4al: I understand all that...thanks anyway. I just successfully downloaded it after days of trying. It has always stopped downloadingI guess it was my network connection.
Now, I wanna flash the stock rom now...wish me luck
You need to flash your device with the stock rom from Infinix website and to download same, select download through web browser option and not the Mega cloud.
negga4al: Hi guys, I must say this phone has been awesome. I've not got any problem at all with it...well except that I could not update even though the update just keep hanging in my status bar staring right back at me.
I rooted my phone, but few days later I received the alert to update, as a sharp guy na, I unrooted using Kingroot but each time I try to update the 23MB sized, it just takes me to the recovery try to download but just brings up error!
Well, have been also trying to download the stock rom from Infinix site but the only link available is through Mega, which when I try to download for some reason it just stops and there's no way I can download through IDM.
So guys, if anyone has gone through this problem and fixed it could you help a brother out or better still could anyone point me to another link other than Mega. Thanks.
Don't mind my epistle, I had to give a vivid explanation.
They've got several services and tasks running in the background that depends on your data for sustenance. Example of these are the very many freebies we installed that have adverts in them. To limit these however, you need to stop all background processes from accessing your data. Go to your data setting and select limit background activities but note that it will also limit your access to emails real-time.
Mtscheeeeeeeew! Becos Fulani people disturb one man farm for West den wan secede? What about those tribes that had lost their loved ones in the north in recent past ...have they? #abegi
Does that remove the fact that she schooled on the Chevening's bill? Thats too petty I would say coming from a British organization ....not supporting Diezani though
Sounds plausible but why be say name only this one condensation catch? I'm sure the manufacturers must have tested this before going to market with it such condensation would never be noticed by the passengers if all is well with the plane.
International77: This is not a leakage. Usually when it raining outside the plane, the A/C system in the plane begins to produce condensation and therefore that condensation begins to leak through the over head cabin. There is no way the plan can have a leakage, if there really was a leakage, that plane would not even have landed as any little hole in the fuselage would cause the plane to rip apart in high altitude. Please people, we need to learn how to judge things and not always run to disgrace our Nigerian airlines. Yes, the airlines face a lot of difficulties and that's because the system is so corrupt that the government does not make operations easy for these airlines. The Nigerian aviation industry is really struggling with keeping high standards and there is only so much they can do without the help of the government. Are there corrupt people in the airlines as well? Yes, there are. I am not saying its perfect.
Please do not jump to conclusions. Do not let random posts make us look like we are an ignorant and uneducated population.
Those who may even doubt this, please do some little research on google and it is very normal to have some water condensations in planes. I have actually been on a Lufthansa and other flight with this happening.
I hate it when we see posts like this without the airline's name
Towncrier247: Sahara Reporter's Adeola Fayehun shared it on YouTube, says a Nigerian airline passenger sent it to her. The passenger wrote
"I presume it started raining shortly before our landing as we waited in the plane for the Airline staff to get us umbrellas to shelter. All of that sounds good, right? Until we discovered the plane was leaking. Please see attached photos and video. Although it wasn't immediately clear if the leak was from the rain or the plane's cooling system, one thing was evident: the rate of leakage was proportional to the fluctuating intensity of the rain. At heavy intensity, the leak was pouring. When the rain subsided, it became more of a drip. In any case, the structural integrity of the aircraft is brought to question."
Na Naija Police Security men de Belgium with the team abi na Belgian Police or Security men? I don't believe they would strip him nak3d if it were foreign security agents though Probably trying to whip up sentiments. BTW a captain should always be the first to report to camp ....Joseph Yobo did just that until #GEJ crew turn hin head
Don't never liked that Oliseh guy one bit. When he was made captain of SE back then, I thought it was unusual because there were other better leaders there than him. But then it was done to gag the team and it failed. Now he (Oliseh) has don the same thing over Enyeama by giving Ahmed the captain band thinking he's gagging the team. That too will fail.
I wonder if Oliseh do not deem it fit asking his former colleagues for directions. Fight Enyeama who has more World Cup experience than Oliseh I think is wrong because you need someone on the team to encourage the up and coming players. Sad shaaa
safarigirl: First off, I want all Nigerians to forget about qualifying for AFCON 2017, it won't happen with this rift.
Oliseh was wrong on all counts in this rift. The last player you should ever attack is the pillar of the team, the head capo, ask Didier Deschamps what Anelka did to him. Why pick on Enyeama? Enyeama has loyalists in that team that can and will rebel against Oliseh until he loses that job and they prove he was never meant to be a coach. Oliseh is displaying an arrogance he hasn't earned considering he's won nothing of note as SE coach.
And making Musa captain? Who will take orders from Musa? Is it Mikel, Emenike or the ousted Enyeama? Does Musa look like a leader? Apart from his scrawny nature, how old is he? Someone who can't even speak up when he's wronged, how will he speak on behalf of his team mates?
The only place Oliseh's myopic decisions will take he and that team is down. I just want him out ASAP cuz he's apparently not The Chosen One to bring sanity to our football.
I love this. The Wailers will have heartbreak on this one. Buhari is the man We are unstoppable. Even our enemies laugh with us and remain in perpetual state of confusion.
The best of Nigeria is ahead. God bless Nigeria. Sai Buhari/Osinbajo
Egbin Power plant lost 1100mw due to employee's crisis and that has affected the country and not just Lekki Phase 1
Klothesaholics1: Please does anyone know what is causing the current power outage in Lekki phase 1? No power since October 2nd. Please post if you live in Lekki and experiencing this. Thanks.
I don't understand the embolden below “You are entitled to your ceremonial dress, service dress and mess kit. However, you should wear uniforms corresponding to your rank at the time of retirement only when you are invited for military ceremonies; military weddings; memorial services of National Day celebration and Regimental dinners.”
Do they now have retired officers ceremonial dress or they're entitled to still be wearing their uniforms in retirement during ceremonies?
Wrong move by the employee Two wrongs do not make a right, now that the deed has been done, baring any serious damage to the plant, all the former staff would now be treated as security risk to the plant and ejected accordingly. They would be compensated definitely BUT they would have to move out. Sad the way we do things in this country.
The MD I'm sure is an educated man who should know better than what he's did engaging hoodlums. He has further opened the plants to more dangers. Hoodlums would not stop demanding and if company do not obliged, then the plant suffers more sabotage He ought to have learned from the Niger Delta case naaau
Mofe, hold your wife tight o, before we see story like...'John Terry calls press conference to apologize for 'Mrs Duncan elevator accident'... Click here to watch exclusive video
Sorry been busy at work. Nice projections you got there. Btw you got foreign degree? It pays especially when looking at crossing over. Not easy if trained in Nigeria alone as you would need to equate your degrees with your new host country.
Anyway, I trust it will work out for you.
Intrepid01: Seriously you have ignored me? ookies, sorry for the disturbance. cheers
LMAO @ embolden 'At the the station, Omokwa told the police how he paid Precious N3,500 for sex throughout the night and equally paid extra N350 for registration' Soon na bio-metric registration (Ashawoo Verification Number - AVN) we go de hear o
They are very true my dear. One only need to avoid those bystanders hawking mobile devices there but then our eyes too de chooook ...we like cheap tins or why would one want to buy a fone of 140k+ for 70K
Whizpeter: There are stories you'd read on NL ehn, you'd begin to doubt their authenticity!
I hear you not generalizing it though. Some put in their best of the best behavior and end up being adopted by the diaspora but that's like one in a thousand or more but they're rare to find.
So what are you into? What's your career projections like in the next 5 years?
Intrepid01: Eerrm... lets start this way. Convince us by deciding to help a brother like me...
Now that I HAVE ASKED FOR HELP. I am waiting o.
Please note the reason to want to travel for some of us is not because we are jobless or dependent. There is nothing compared to International exposure. Here at my workplace I have seen the gap between the take home of a foreign trained and a Nigerian trained just because the dude has got foreign experience. It is actually a priority for me, maybe a help from a sister could actualize it you know.
Nice one! I would just like to quip in that the reason why many Nigerians are not willing to help other Nigerians when in the diaspora is manyly because let me put it this way ....'our eyes too choook'. When you help a fellow Nigerian, the next thing he or she is thinking of is how to 'hammer' or become better than the person helping him or her in the process, causing problems for the good Samaritan.
Just like you rightly mentioned, the Indians, Chinese and other Asians, help one another in the diaspora and go beyond by helping in bringing others on board too. This works for them because they're communal in nature. You will find out that a four bedroom bungalow rented by one Indian or Chinese will end up housing twenty of their compatriots whereas the same house type rented by a Nigerian will gather dust in the remaining rooms ...why because they're scared of bringing on board their compatriots because of reasons aforementioned.
I don't blame them really because we Nigerians are too judgemental without caring to find out why that person being judged is going about his affairs differently. It's either a case of Mr A is shopping at Primark in UK when he has enough money to shutdown Hacketts or Mr A is going on off-peak trains when he could afford to drive the latest benz in town etc. Mr A lives in one UK village when he can afford to live in one of the numerous towers in London. They would go as far as sending this reports back home and the home people will begin to wonder what is wrong with their son or daughter not sending them enough money despite all these austere lifestyle.
Mind you Mr. A is living that way because he's probably paying mortgage to ensure he lives a stress-free life. So my brothers and sisters its not that we don't want to help BUT its your orientation and attitude to life that is making us shy away.
60,000 naira will struggle to buy 600 litres of petrol. 2,000 pounds will buy 2,000 litres of petrol. i will rip everything you have learnt in economics into shreds within 30 mins if you permit me. £2,000 pounds is the equivalent of N60,000? i think you need to lie down and reappraise your intelligence quotient.
The post said 'with chains of other businesses in town'
gbosaa: Where did you get this from? "So what is 40m that he can't afford after four years of hustling in London"?
Let's do some maths. Taxi drivers make between £500-£800 a week, let's assume his is very lucrative driving football players to trainings and stuff. He will make up to £1000. That's £26000-£52000 a year. He has to pay the taxi company every week, but fuel, insurance, pay house rent and other domestic expenses.
So you think he could save N10m or around £30k-£40k per year after expenses. Mind you he has to pay tax. So after four years, assuming he landed from Heathrow and started his cab business the following day having mastered all the driving routes from surfing the net in Nigeria or with the aid of his sat nav,He could save N40m or £130k-£135k after hustling for four years??
I don't think it's transformer issue o! They're back to their old ways got 4 hours yesterday and likewise on Sunday after like 4 days hiatus. Surprise this morning my neighbor on a different phase has light even as its raining heavily now #ThereCantBeRealChange
