I was avoiding giving out personal details but here you go: Within two months of arriving on a Student-dependant visa, I got two offers of £40k, I had to renegotiate and increased the other to £50k and accepted. I rejected Huboo's offer. Won't mention the name of the one I accepted. I have long left that job for a better one.

My friend who is a student that came last year has gotten a Permanent offer with a Financial institution for £50k and Visa Sponsorship. Due to his student status, he works just 3 times a week till he graduates next month and he will start working full-time. Another friend is a student of a 2-year course he only started in January but got an offer with HSBC last month.

OP is going for MSc and would stay in hostel where all fees are inclusive ...you pay these only when you rent flat. Average rent in shared apartments are between £350-£450 besides students don't pay council tax or TV license. Please try and read up more on this and stop showing ignorance. Hey God ....£1000 for rent? na Mansion e wan sleep?

After tax and pension that N620k go be like N450k. Subtract your costs - Transport, feeding, rent, fuel for electricity how much remain?

If you are staying in Lagos - how many hours do you spend in traffic daily to work?

Once you finish doing that calculation the feeling you get should decide your next move. All the best

I am applying for a Bsc Nursing course at university of abertay Dundee on my CAS document required included PGD information technology, IELTS. I did my pgd 2020. I had a Bsc in microbiology at 2013 with a third class. But the school used my pgd certificate to secure my CAS. During bio I submitted all certificate indicated with my CAC document because I have a registered business and my Bsc certificate , and my previous job offer letter

What documents did you submit as part of your application and what number of years study gap do you have?

I did my bio at tls vi on the 8th of July got an empty nsf mail requesting for more time I sent a paid mail and was given 15 working days to get a response, the responded with a NSF mail again stating they can’t be specific on the day decision will be carried out. I was hoping to get the visa by the end of August. I honestly don’t know why the delay

You stand to gain a lot from that period though that may make or mar your stay if you don't adhere to it. You can however inform your school of this impending development for them to advise you. All the best

Also, if you optimise your LinkedIn and Reeds profile, You would practically get stalked by recruiters, some offering below market rate and some offering some decent pay like in the attached. (This can sometimes be irritating sha, especially with those out of the blue phone calls)

Honestly, your somewhere can be from 40k, it doesn’t have to be lower than that. However, this is industry dependent as some industries don’t pay a lot. Also, this has nothing to do with classism because I never mentioned this. it’s just setting a standard for yourself and it’s also a personal preference so to each their own really. If my standards appear to be unrealistic or offends anyone then that’s their problem not mine.

Agreed but one has to start from somewhere na. Not everyone will get £120k a year pay on landing town, some will get some will have to settle for far less before they find their footing. Please lets not make this thing about class or something, encourage humble beginnings.

Toh what more can you do naaa ...if that's the only thing you can provide, do so with a cover letter to try explain how you applied your previous studies to improving the fortunes of your uncle's shop etc anything innovative, try to capture it there.

You risk missing important information to be shared during that period and also lose your visa due to non-enrollment. Best you discuss this with your school.

I was thinking of going pretty much later. Because later dates have a normal flight fare.

Nor vex ...na cruise but in your application when asked if you are going to stay somewhere else, you mentioned your boyfriend's address? It could pose a problem in my opinion and could be taken as deception and intent to abscond but lets hear from others though
