You can imagine that, it's so sad and needs to stop. One was charging for one-on-one calls yet she can on a Twitter space to ask for help in deciding future very sad if we can't help our own with information as little as what they are charging for.

Fast forward 2 months later, I saw her advertising that anyone who looking for cos should contact her. I message her and realised it was the same person taking of banned list some weeks ago. I said are u now in UK. She said no but she gotten her cos and doing visa. I said how come you are then advertising you have carer job to offer

She said where she got cos are also looking for people so she decided to make some money . So she advertising and if she connect you to them she charge a whooping 7k GBP to be paid to her in naira .I asked did you pay that for your cos, she said no but she turning this to her side hussle. To say I was shocked is an understatement. Someone who hasn't even stepped foot in UK

Its very funny really how all those who migrated via student route from Nigeria after enjoying free resources from forums such as NL are now charging for one-on-one sessions or for sharing other information required by others after them. This is sad really. The annoying thing is some are actually selling templates for essays, seminars, cover letters, CV formatting etc when all of these resources are available for free on many school's intranet to the students. We need to change if we are to lift each other up from the perils of our country.

The £5k would be mentioned in your CAS statement and it would come as a discount on tuition fees payable. In selecting school, look out for cost of living in the area and also availability of jobs.

Also mailed the school and they have said there is no problem switching to the visa route and I can continue schooling part time if I choose too.

You even quoted the paragraph then of the immigration law. If you ignored advice and applied without the court documents, I am curious as to what immigration rules you want administrative review for? It’s sad when we keep doing this to ourselves.
Whether it is your nephew or niece or brother or sister, the rules have not changed.. reapply with the court documents. As long as mother is alive she cant be pushed aside except by court.

Yes you have a contract with your school and if you've passed certain stage with them, you can't avoid not paying up your balance fees. I would've suggested you discuss this with them or an immigration lawyer to get their views. Cos the minute you no longer show up in school, they will withdraw your CAS and terminate your study visa with Home office ...same Home office you will be submitting a tier 2 visa application to.

I guess if you are able to scale the course on next attempt. Avoid getting caught later on. Subscribe to writing tools like Quilibot, Grammarly etc to help you paraphrase your writing s before submitting through turnitin for final checks. These tools also help give you an insight into your plagiarism score while you write.

You should be able to give a reasonable explanation of how you got money deposited in your account. If you sold property, give details, if deposit was by your parents, explain in simple terms that it is their support towards your education. Provide supporting documents where needed.

You'll be shocked at the folks who have stayed long in the UK. Talk to any of them about pursuing Tier 4 and they'd first discourage you from going the student route. It's understandable because of the restrictions and the huge sums of money involved but sometimes, that's about the only option that many can choose.

Can they help make the other routes easier? Mostly no. It's always funny.

Some times these UK uncles de tire person, you invite someone to go apply for Skilled work visa like say na just grab and apply thing. Ore ....do you have an employment offer in the UK to sponsor you for the skilled worker visa? If no, then you need one. Also do your research and lastly ...this is not the thread for that. Look around you will find it.

For now, student visa is the best bet for you (wifey or you as the main applicant and the rest as dependents to the main applicant). Note that main applicants (person to school) will have 20hrs per week work limit while the dependents have unlimited work hours - choice and decision is yours to make.

He/she should explain the origin of the funds in his/her account as requested backing it up with documents such as sales receipt, loan agreement or a notarised gift certificate (if the money was a gift from his/her family member). As long as the documents are legitimate and the funds are not proceed of crimes/criminal activities it may probably fly with UKVI. It is always best to avoid large deposit in bank statement otherwise you send an explanatory letter with supporting docs upfront to avoid queries

hmmmmm. Wonderful. Me I earn 63k as salary and my rent is 210k annually. Below is how I disburse it:
