Good morning Seniors in the house. Please I have an urgent issue as regards to flight.

I've never used Qatar airways before, I just registered on their site and I booked a ticket on hold on Saturday morning from the website. Then I tried to pay using my ban card which was declined.

Later I found a Nigeria bank account I can pay to(GTB precisely) using my bank app. Up till this moment, I've not gotten my tickets, I contacted the customer service, they said they couldn't find my money and ive been debited. I tried to send a mail, it only respond working days.

I'm confused right now, my booking expires tomorrow. What will happen when it expires? Please who's an agent here that can help me sort this issue

Hello guru in the house we have a situation we don't know what to do.
We are family of 3 we present have a visa application waiting for decision (DMC). My wife and son are my dependant. The issue here is that my wife got a job in Health care and her COS just came in this morning requiring her to be in the UK at least 12th of September. My questions are what will happen to her present visa application awaiting decision. Can we put up another visa application or switch visa. Or how do we go about it.

What would make some one over stay in a company for over 10years.

Means you have not develop over the years or you are scared of what's outside your comfort zone. If you stay so long in a company, the know your weakness and strength, you are not doing any extraordinary except for normal routine the know.

I don't fancy that idea of over staying, I want to explored new ideas and new work environment.

My 2 cents

When there are instances of Visa refusals, asides being upfront in stating this in a fresh application, applicants should never shy aware from setting the records straight especially as the refusals have been consistent in this instance. As there has been no formal response from the applicant addressing any of the queries raised prior to this time as you have rightly mentioned, this application provides the perfect opportunity to do this.

My advice on the cover letter will be to itemize and address each refusal independently so the facts of each case are clear, the ECO is advised and there is no room to perceive your application in any other way.

I did my TB test today and I was referred to see the doctor there after the result came out.
The doctor said he noticed a very little tick something in the upper side of my lungs but is not TB related and it won’t affect my Visa application and is not serious.

He asked questions that might lead to it which I never engaged myself in any then he said it might clear on its own but I should go for another TB test after 6 months to check again when I get to UK.

Am just worried even when he assured me that is not going to affect my application.

Please someone should explain more to me because I want to submit it now

1. The letter said that she had no right to appeal the refusal so, there was no way to do an administrative review. It's her mother who wrote the invitation letter. Her mother is settled and even has a nice 3-bed apartment in London. I thought the student visa route is a point-based system. Is it possible to be rejected because the ECO feels like you want to settle in the UK?

2. She explained the oversight in her application form when they asked "why were you refused?". She doesn't feel the need to write the cover letter in order to reduce too much documentation wahala. She feels like the explanation she gave in the application form is sufficient.

3. The deposits were in 2019 and it's usually a common reason for refusal. She doesn't even have access to the investment company's account anymore so there's no need to open old wounds and start deep investigations on her profile.

Since my account would be debited through UBA, i've been there to know if there's anything they could do to fast track things, but I was told that form A processes is not within their powers. Please, guys, my friend has submitted her UK student visa application. She has been denied 3 times in the past for some reasons but nothing insincere. She also stated the refusals in her application form.

First refusal -Sep 2014 - She was an NYSC corper and she wanted to travel for her brother's Masters graduation in the UK. She was refused because the ECO said that corpers are not allowed to travel out of Nigeria during their service year.
2nd refusal -Nov 2019 - She had a well-paying job but was refused due to large deposits in the account (they were actually investments that matured but she didn't write a cover letter to explain).
3rd refusal -Jan 2022 - She wanted to go and visit her mother and brother for Christmas who are residents in the UK. Her application was perfect but she was unjustly refused. She submitted 2 bank accounts. One has over $10k which she used as her POF for the trip. The second one had just ₦300k but she only put it there to prove that she was a salary earner. What is funny is that the ECO quoted her dollar bank account number saying that it is her Naira account then stated that she didn't have enough money for the trip. We had actually seen some people on NL complain about this before and how ECOs completely pretend like they didn't see a second bank account (mostly for visitor's visas) but she never knew it would happen to her too.

She has her CAS from the University of Manchester, she has her English evidence, employment letter, payslips for all the years she has worked, TB certificate and ₦20 million in her account as proof of finances even though she only needed ₦15 million as POF.
Please what are her chances of getting a student visa? will she be denied based on her previous refusals?

I got married two months ago. I am 7 months pregnant my husband didn't tell me he had a child from his previous relationship and the child has a disability celebral palsy. Her mother came to dropped her off in my house saying she has done enough and she's tired it is now hubby turn to take care of her.

The child can't do anything for herself she can't sit, talk, walk and she does toilet in her clothes. I can't do it anymore I love children because I have taken care of my own nieces and nephews before I would have taken care of her if she was normal but taking care of a child in this question is hard and if her own mother has had enough she abandoned her and why would I kill myself taking care of her in my condition.

I want to divorce and go back to my village I have told him i am leaving next month. He is pleading with me not to leave him that he will take the child somewhere else but the place is not free he has to be paying like 200k monthly for them to take care of the child and he doesn't even have that amount of money because he is not financial stable.

I will stick to my decision but I want to know what will other people do in my situation.

Hello everyone,

A work colleague has given me her address for use in the form. She told me I could stay with her for a month till my stipend kicks in.
The address is not very far from the university as well. But a family friend is telling me that this won't carry much weight and that I need something like a lease or a booking preferably in university accommodation for my application to be successful.

What does the house think please

Chief, I'll advise you to look for other way round to pay your fees. Irrespective of the banks, form A fee payment isn't dependable, (whether a banker told you he would help you or not)

I had this sexual encounter with a girl without condom in February of this year and since then my health has not been the same.

After 2 weeks of meeting her, I started feeling sick, had rashes at the back of both of my legs, tired almost all the time, sore throat, and since then I have taken all sorts of drug - orthodox and trado but yet no response.

I have to gone for several test. One result Said beta hemolytic streptococcus pyogenese was seen in my urine culture and I was given erythromycin and augmentin for 2 weeks. I felt a little relief. Then I started having tongues thrush.

It's almost 6 months now and I have not felt any better.

I have had HIV test done severally but all come back negative.

But my worry is, I still feel sick. What could this disease be.

The girl confessed that she only has what they call - heat. That's my first time hearing this.
I stay in ik and really need help. I sincerely regret that sexual encounter and wish I could retrace my steps.

My take on this is that it takes logic to understand the issue involved.

What I have been able to deduce ( I stand to be corrected) is that the printing of Visa stamp is done at the VAC, once a decision has been made by DMC regarding each application and communicated, so in these instance the May decision wasn't communicated due to administrative lapse, it wasn't stamped with a visa until when it was finally communicated in July.

The issue of having 2 visa stamps on the passport does not arise.
