Excellent so a good cover letter to address the issue of funding raised leading to your refusal, should accompany the current application. All the best.
I actually do have the money (for the three weeks program). They were just not satisfied that the money was really mine or something based on my salary
Make den give am one young geh and he will withdraw the suit
AlexReports: Paris Club Refund: Ned Nwoko Threatens Legal Action, Demands $40M Compensation From NGF Over Defamation
A former member of the House of Representatives, Prince Ned Nwoko has demanded immediate apology from Nigeria Governors Forum, NGF over what he called defamatory comments against him.
Ned Nwoko had accused the governors of not telling Nigerians the entire truth about the Paris Club refund, accusing them of deceiving the people with falsehood.
In their response, the Nigeria Governors Forum had allegedly used a libelous comment, for which Hon. Ned Nwoko is seeking apology to be published in the dailies with a payment of $40m dollars as compensation for the alleged malicious and false accusation.
In a letter addressed to the Director General of the NGF by Ned Nwoko's legal team, he demanded that the apology be tendered within 48 hours of receipt of the letter.
"One of the said false and defamatory statements which has been trending on the social media since Sunday, 21 August 2022, authored by one ABDULRAZAQUE BELLO-BARKINDO on behalf of the Nigeria Governors' Forum (NGF) alleged as follows.
'It is curious that in the introduction of himself, Mr. Ned Nwoko said nothing about his current status with the UK Law Society and the widely held belief that he was disbarred for fraudulent activities.'"
Ned Nwoko through his lawyers described the above statement as profoundly malicious and false as he was never disbarred from legal practice in the UK.
He said the comment is targeted at damaging his reputation and cast him as a devious, manipulative, dishonest and manipulative, dishonest and fraudulent person of questionable character.
He is therefore seeking unreserved apologies to be published in two national dailies and online media outlets.
He said upon failure to adhere to the conditions, he will seek legal redress.
Recall that in his recent address to the media, Ned Nwoko who is the Lead Consultant for the recovery of over deductions from Paris and London clubs debt buy back funds had stated that his firm was being owed only 68million dollars not 418million dollars as being alleged by the NGF.
1. The visit visa you applied for, did you go for the biometrics capture? 2. The scholarship you got recently is it fully-funded one?
Reason for this is that once you are captured your record remains with them whether you withdraw or not. This means they already know you do not have funds in your bank account via the bank statement you submitted earlier. So except you have a scholarship that covers your entire stay in the UK, presenting another POF bank statement may be seen as dodgy.
So I withdrew my visitor's visa application on the 5th of August because the program I was supposed to attend was going to end the following week and because I wanted to apply for the student visa because I got a scholarship that I can't defer and I've applied for the visa now.
But yesterday, I got a notification that my withdrawal request has now been successfully escalated. 2 hours later, they said my visitor's visa was rejected because my salary was not commensurate with my account balance and that there were numerous deposits in my account that they did not understand. 5 minutes later, they said my application has been successfully withdrawn.
I am very confused. Was the application withdrawn or was the visa application rejected?
My biometrics is next week and I want to know if I should just cancel the application or write a cover letter. I don't even know what I'll write in the cover letter because I'm fully funded and I didn't declare statement of account in the student visa application.
I think post harvesting practice counts most against the farmers. Its always advisable that after harvesting, it is washed with detergent, rinsed and sunned to dry the water and store in cool dry place.
Most farmers just harvest and off to the market or dump in a place till they are needed. What this means is that dirt containing bacteria are carried and stored along with the harvest hence most don't last.
If you buy from the market, wash and rinse with vinegar you will see how long it would last in your refrigerator compared to just storing without washing.
MideMrPossible: Yesterday, I visited one of our nearby farmsite where chill pepper is planted by a local farmers and the extent of the loss on the field is just too massive. Immediately, I said to myself we need an on-site storage facility!
Lack of storage facility alone is a big factor militating against agriculture in developing countries and some people are already earning a living by providing a refrigerated storage facilities.
When you say "another" ..have you printed before and submitted or what?
Ideally your funds must have been in the account for 28 days minimum. Thereafter, the bank statement you print out for the visa application, must not be older than 30 days after holding the funds for 28 days.
What this means is that you can't print a bank statement on 1st of May 2022 and now use the same statement to apply for visa on 1st of August 2022 ...that's almost 60 days after you first printed the bank statement on the fund held for 28 days..
You print a bank statement, you must use it before 30 days lapses.
Getset: I want to get this right. When do I need to print another 28 days statement for Biometrics. Is it after 30days from the date of my visa application or after 30 days from the last date on the statement I used for visa application?
Please I'm currently filling out my spouse's visa application on my skilled worker visa and on getting on the IHS section, this question comes up. What date should be used considering I'm also applying for my skilled worker visa as well and I haven't gotten my visa so I don't know the expiry date.
Best to specify - paper notes are being phased out and not entirely £20 and £50 denominations. The paper notes will be replaced with polymer notes like our N5, N10, N20 and N50 notes
Contact your school although you are not meant to submit the CAS document itself, but on the UKVI system, the date would show up wrongly and at the discretion of the staff reviewing your application to adjudge if its a honest error from the school or not.
HSalamanca: Hi everyone, please is it a big issue if my uni made a mistake with my DoB on my CAS? Instead of January 15, it says January 5, but year is fine. It's also January 15 that's on my other docs, passport, UKVI application etc.
They better live up to this surge else Home Office would turn the search lights on them and investigate the possibility of them being a conduit for students into the UK without intent of studying
jsquares: Bradford is so competitive, I wrote to them to defer my Admission September intake 2022 to January 2023, they accepted unfortunately I just received a mail on11th August 2022 that if I didn't pay £2000 intial deposit on on before 11/08/22 that I should defer again to September 2023. So my brother that is braford for u
You're right. On the UKVI site they listed the type of sponsors they are looking out for, you may want to read through to understand it better.
farnet: You re greatly mistaken dear friend. One can either be self funded (relying on own money, parents or partner's money), Sponsored (being on scholarship or grant) or relying on loan. Don't know how else to explain that. Sponsored is same thing as being on scholarship. OP relying on partner's funds is fully self funded .Maybe @justwise can help explain further
Before they do and might still call an applicant for clarification if required. These days however, most schools handle that role and only ensure students who are deemed qualified are issued with a CAS
cutebear: Does UKVI conduct credibility interviews for student visa? I keep seeing it on blogs but i've never heard of anyone who was called in for an interview
Whatever they quoted in your CAS is usually less - scholarship or discount awarded. To be sure, please look at the course on the university's website for the course fees and do your calculations.
Updated The second page of your screenshot shows the amount remaining to be paid £13850 ...that's what you should state
Tracedan120: On my cas it showed the tuition fees And also the scholarship so I didn’t know which to quote there
First thing I would advise is for you to read through your student contract with the university that issued you CAS -
1. what is their drop-out of study clause, would you be liable to paying all unpaid school fees if you decide not to continue? 2. Would they refund you all paid fees? 3. How do you inform them of your switch without being tagged absconded student?
Just my thoughts though
Aligator12008: Thank you for the response. It's the skilled worker visa, I am just scared about the implications if I could switch since the student visa has just been granted and how to go about the application for a skilled worker visa.
Thanks for sharing but how can one get into the bolded? I'm interested
TheGuyFromHR: Try and find a way to insert yourself, even if it's at the periphery and work your way to where you can. Areas like information governance and privacy, data protection, moving on to DPO (not Nigeria police o), you could then segue into infosec at some level, maybe. I write some JDs and the pay is good for those areas, even though they're not considered pure IT/tech roles.
Not everyone can do pure tech, we all have different abilities, for instance, I can barely count, hate Excel with a passion (still learning that program after all these years), and don't even know how I managed to get through training school when I got my bank job. Payroll stuff gives me nightmares when the spreadsheets land in my inbox.
The areas I mentioned above are for people like me who are most comfortable dealing with words, not numbers. I function best when dealing with policies, firing off emails and answering the sometimes inane queries from employees (HR here is in many ways not very different from it is in Naija, sometimes employees bring the craziest kinds of stuff to us). You see what you can do to upskill in an area you can manage. You might be surprised to find there's something within your abilities that will fetch you the figures you named above.
Wow ...thanks for sharing this. Very much appreciated.
Mamatukwas: To answer your question let me share my friend’s story:
Arrived UK as a Student - 09/2021 Started working part time (casual work)- 10/2021 all the while applying for roles in HR where she has over 8+ years experience. Got Band 5 HR Job- 03/2022 in University of Oxford Part time. Got Band 5 HR Job- 07/2022 in same University Part time but permanent role. Got Band 5 Sponsored Role- 08/2022 to start in October. She’s just about to submit her dissertation.
She has remained on band 5 but the scale has been going up with each new job.
It’s important to note that for a long time people told her that HR jobs were hardly sponsored in the UK and she almost gave up but decided to try the NHS and got lucky.
justwise: Maybe he did not start searching for job on time and allowed his visa to expire or he did not graduate with good results or he gave up searching after few rejections
Why complicate things? Why not the dependent transfer the funds to your account bearing your name and avoid too much shalaye?
victorVIC1: Please if an applicant plans to use a dependant's (spouse) account for POF. What should be the right source of fund option to select between self funding and sponsor when one is submitting applications for admission?
What was stated on the CAS document issued to you by the school? That's what you need to quote in your visa application
Tracedan120: @duchess Please if you can answer here’s the thing when asked on the application for course fees for the first year I put 20350 but I actually have a scholarship discount of 4500 pounds so the money I’m to pay for first year is 15,850 but now I’ve been feeling like it should be 15,850 I should have put there and not 20,350 please was I right to put the actual fee,I haven’t gone for biometrics yet
Considering he studied some choice courses, I wonder why he was unable to score a job to sponsor him or was it that he become complacent due to his romance with a partner or something? I just don't understand
justwise: After his student visa expired he was unable to switch to other type of visa or get a job to extend his stay. Though i think he will not be deported since his MP has got involved and considering the fact that he has a daughter here
