LoL. This bro funny sha |
This op doesn't know the difference between states of origin and geopolitical zones |
This government is beginning to fall my hand big time in the fight against corruption. I need to have a rethink. |
Watch out guys. The floating of Naira means Nigerian Naira and it's stock market are now open to mind-blowing manipulation by world billionaires and corporate entities! Mind-blowing profits will be made by some, while life-shattering losses will be incurred by others. Interesting days ahead. |
Depriest2020:Okay. Tinubu take note |
Depriest2020:Do us a favour sir. Tell us the total number of workers we have in Nigeria (let's limit it to Federal Government workers) then multiply the figure by 200k let's check something. By the way, back to NLC's threat of going on strike, I hope the so called NLC is aware Nigerians no longer take them seriously any more |
That one na bullion van savings ![]() Wealthoptulent: |
Your sins are forgiven sir |
Need to have a rethink |
I don't mean to sound heartless, but I think the man had some mental problem if the story is true. I don't believe a person whose mental state is okay would take such a drastic action just because of loans he gave out, no matter the pressure to recover them |
Every teenager is still a kid. To me, 20 years should be a universal age of consent. |
Chinjo2:I think the only legal way Tinubu can extend deadline is to approach the Supreme Court for an order for its extension. As it is now, it's only the Supreme Court that has power to order the extension of the old naira notes deadline since it was the Supreme Court that fixed the current deadline in the first place. I believe anything outside of that would be dictatorial and illegal. |
Beverlyjean:No. You are wrong. Na you no understand why the guy said what he said. It's not just about the Guiness book of records. You need to understand that the very day Guiness World Record certified Hilda Baci's cooking record, that was the same day Senator Akpabio, another Akwa Ibomite was elected as Senate President - the highest political office ever held by an Akwa Ibom man. So, it was kind of double celebration for Akwa Ibom people. Always try and understand somebody's point before you hurl insult. |
Nigerians funny sha. See as people with zero or half baked knowledge of economics being excited about a policy whose implications (both positive and negative) they know absolutely nothing about! Fixed exchange rate and free floating exchange rate both have their own advantages and disadvantages. We all know that Nigeria is import dependent nation that import virtually every damn thing. Many Nigerians value foreign goods, foreign education, foreign religion, foreign everything more than Nigeria-made ones. Now, If Naira is allowed to float freely and its value determined by forces of demand and supply, the demand for dollars will always be so high compared demand for Naira i don't think you have to be a genius to know the implication of that for the Naira. Floating the Naira will have its benefits. But if you truly understand its potential disadvantage you will be sober rather than being excited. |
Clinghton:But the demons saying this trash through you and others like you have failed already because Hilda has already been crowned for her effort. |
Godisablealltim:I keep hearing Ekiti, Ekiti, Ekiti. Where IN HELL is this Ekiti sef. The name sounds funny the same way that village girl call Dammy who attempted to break Hilda's record is funny. |
I had been looking forward to this announcement. Congrats to her |
Wow! You end up being wiser than I initially thought. DamnnNiggarr: |
When did government become family business? |
LoL. Even before opening the thread I already suspected the motive of the op and I was right. But let me say this with all honesty - LONG BEFORE Tinubu even indicated interest to run for presidency, there has been STABLE and CONSTANT power supply both in where I live and where I work all thanks to the foundation that was already laid by Goodluck Jonathan's administration and built upon by Buhari's government! This has absolutely nothing to do with Tinubu as the op is trying to mislead people to believe. I want to believe Tinubu will continue from where his predecessors ended and hopefully improve on it as it should be |
The question is which Nigerian is not corrupt? Laolu Akande and his kind should just shut up! Emefiele is not more corrupt than any Nigerian, whether dead or alive. His weakness was that he foolishly allowed Buhari and his cabals to over-control him and pushed him around; forcing him to make policies the masses would not be happy with. And he didn't seem to care how those policies would affect the masses provided it's what the President want. Emefiele simply lacked the tough, stubborn mind of his own that people like Soludo and Sanusi had. Moreover, this Laolu guy is clearly an idiot for trying to make it look as if it's Emefiele that initiated the so called 'dual exchange rate policy'. Is dual exchange rate not one of the policies Emefiele inherited? Tinubu's government is free to do whatever it likes to Emefiele but fools and hypocrites should spare us their rants.
Laolu Akande was Spokesperson to former Vice President, Yemi Osinbajo from 2015-2023. It was about time d CBN Governor faced suspension & investigation..... Emefiele was given a long rope, but he failed to redeem himself. His shenanigans & the colossal damages he perpetrated at the CBN was to the utter detriment of the Nigerian people. This is not even about cashless policy, but apparent corruption especially in the dual exchange rate policy which never made sense. What a sigh of relief! https://twitter.com/akandeoj/status/1667611151805415427?t=yWUZI3DcahEnzX7GLyJGMg&s=19
|
This man you are still talking? Just thank God Gandolar did not meet you physically. The kind slap you for chop eh; you for don see stars |
Nice one, Innoson. The future is eco-friendly. |
LeoDeKing:Hopefully, you will end up voting for that MC Oluomo's son as your president in the future merely because of his educational achievement despite the fact that his father and those he has been working for has been oppressing you for ages while looting your country's treasury! Talking about someone who 'used SSCE from miracle centre to secure admission into a university'..... and ended up with 3rd class. We know the person you are referring to. It is a man who have reached a height in life that someone like you can only dream of but can never reach! With his SSCE from 'miracle centre' (according to you) and his 3rd class degree, he had been chairman and director of many companies including banks. He has thriving busineses and was a governor of a state while someone like you with all your academic qualifications cannot even be a local government counsellor! Moreover, the 3rd class degree holder you referred to has received the following honours and awards: 1. The Sun's Man of the Year (2007) 2. ThisDay's Most Prudent Governor in Nigeria (2009) 3. Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation's Best Performing Governor on Immunization in South-East Nigeria (2012) 4. Silverbird's Man of the Year (2013) 5. Distinguished Alumnus Award - Lagos Business School Alumni Association (LBSAA) (2014) 6. ThisDay's Governor of the Decade (2020) 7. Leadership Excellence Award's Man of the Year (2022). With all your 1st class degree in science or whatever can you boast of any of this achievement? Baba, there is more to human nature and human mind than mere academic achievement. Anyway, having said all this let me put your matter aside. I must admit that I am impressed with the quality of education this MC Oluomo has given his children. He his in deed a great father. |
Of course, every enlightened and sincere Nigerian already know that 'fuel subsidy' is a scam, unsustainable and must ultimately be removed, otherwise it would completely sink Nigerian economy. So, we don't really need ifa or any oracle to confirm that to us. I think why some Nigerians are not impressed about the removal of the subsidy is because of the hypocrisy and insincerity of Tinubu himself. When Goodluck Jonathan wanted to remove the subsidy in order to channel the funds into other critical areas that would make life better for all Nigerians; this Tinubu was one of the people who vehemently opposed the removal and protested against it out of pure mischief, hypocrisy and lust for power. So don't blame the people who are not impressed. |
Angelfrost:The judge himself should be fined for unnecessary delay of justice. So if the case actually had merit that is how he would delay it until after inauguration which would render the case useless. To me the fine is null and void as the natural time for judgement on the case has passed |
Call him Maggi or Cucumber and thank me later |
Baba, I think you are worse than Sahara Reporter you are condemning because you are quick to condemn their story for reasons best known to you without showing us evidence that you have investigated the story and found it to be false. Let's stop condemning things blindly just because it's too bitter for us to swallow. lhordspy: |
So we have this calibre of person in the Ministry of Education but Buhari ended up appointing Adamu Adamu - a man with zero knowledge about education as Minister of Education. May God help us in this country! |
MelesZanawi:What type of 'IQs' do you need to understand all the nonsense the man is saying there? Do you know the meaning of IQ? And what do you mean by 'part of his intended audience' when the interviewer was asking him the questions on behalf of Nigerians generally for the purpose of public enlightenment? |
And the corrupt idiot called Hadi Sirika is still walking freely. The anger I feel inside of me whenever I read about this 'Nigeria Air' matter if i had my way that Aviation Minister would have been rotting in jail by now for playing on the intelligence of Nigerians. |
House interior of the latest Nigerian trillionaire you mean? |
