My brother I weep for minorities in Nigeria.
Obviously if the north was the region blessed with oil, Nigeria's disintegration would have been realized long ago.
True world bro!

Only 13%/ Come on Mr Aboki surley that's not enough. Think of the millions of begger kids you've got to feed. How about we give you 95% of the revenue and then the rest of the country manage the other 5%. Would that be ok?

Change my backside!!

She has aged very very well. A really pretty lady. The Northerners are generally good looking people, with nice body shapes and strcuture. You really see an obese or very over weight Northerner, and their women seem to have a certain elegance about them. Of course some Jerry Useni must be excluded from the good looking category grin

In the next 12 to 18 months many of you in the South will Rue the day you voted out GEJ.

Many of the so called 'change agents' are simply ignorant youngsters who have no clue or idea about the the mindset of the Hausa/Fulani. We tried to warn you, O how we tried, but you would not listen. Well get ready. When you have people already screaming because the President elect would shake a brides hand, or because his wife made the simple statement that under age married should not be allowed, then you can only imagine what the next 4 years will be like.

Enjoy the next 4 years chaps. As for me, na siddon look I dey, bottle of beer in hand(While that is still legal grin)
Politics › Re: Speaker: South West Is Asking For Too Much — Dansadau by bjdon: 1:57pm On May 13, 2015
Gbawe:
Right about now, they will even endorse Satan and his evil army taking over Nigeria if they can be promised that the Yorubas will suffer the most. As I have said before, the SE and SS should be careful going public with their hatred and resentment of the SW. They will be the long term losers of such a strategy of hate when the SW wake up to and begin to deliberately address this unrequited hatred from those we are nothing but hospitable and accommodating towards.

We will see who will lose out in the end. All the SW did was the responsible thing by voting out a misruler who was destroying Nigeria even as we must inform some hateful element that said misrulers still garnered healthy votes in the SW while they gave Buhari and the APC virtually nothing. If some ethnic jingoists and bigots now want to fight the SW for taking making electoral choices we are free to make, when they even gave the misruling GEJ virtually 100% figures, then I say bring it on !!! In life, It is pointless trying to pacify unreasonable people who operate with minds totally destroyed by hate. I therefore implore the bigots to do their worst.
First of all chill out and drink some ice water. No need to give yourself a stroke.

Secondly, is it SE/SS people coming out to put down the Yoruba? As far as I can see all the recent comments about the Yoruba not contributing to Buhari's victory and the Yoruba being greedy etc have come from NORTHERNERS.

Thirdly, was it not Yoruba ACP members who ganged up with northerners to prevent a fellow Yoruba from becoming the last speaker? Was that the work of SS/SE?

Rather than coming here to rant and make empty threats, maybe you should first reflect on the damage your own Yoruba people have caused to themselves. Here are a few reminders for you.

Obasanjo handing over to Shagari instead of Awo
Shonekon agreeing to head Govt, when a fellow Yoruba man Abiola had clearly one the election.
Diya remaining in govt, even though Abiola was in detention.

SS/SE Are not your problem, your own greedy elite, who are ever ready to lick the Fulani boot are your problem.

On a final note, I think our short history as a Nation should have shown everybody that the SS/SE are 2 regions not be messed with. Be careful when you start making threats. A word is enough for the wise as they say.

NewNigeriaMind:
The funny thing is, femi is more qualified than this dogara of a guy.

But as expected the SS and SE Will betray the SW to the north just to spite their brothers in the west.

These people didn't discuss Tinubu in 2011 when he worked for jonathan victory.

I just dey laugh, cause the northern knows the igbos are not smart hence they will use them and dump.

Instead of these people to lobby apc north to vote an igbo speaker or south south speaker, they will rather the north control both house

To what end?

To spite the south west
You got that right, and the SW better get used to it. The SS/SE will not forget for a generation what the SW did to them. They will take every and any opportunity to thwart SW ambitions in the Nigerian Game of Thrones. This is why I say the North will now rule Nigeria for a generation.
Politics › Re: Group Condemns Appointment Of Non-Yoruba As NPA Boss. by bjdon: 7:04am On May 13, 2015
What a stupid statement. Going by that logic the head of NNPC and minster of petroleum should always come from the SS. NPA is a federal agency and the ports can be run by anyone from any part of the country.

It is not 100% impossible, though extremely rare. And we need to know how old the baby is at the time of testing. Let us assume all test done are 100% correct, the only thing I can say about the situation is that the baby got two S gene from the mother( when you talk about mendel's law of inheritance, we always have exceptions to the rules). Hemoglobinapathie is more common in West Africa and Asia. All other phenotypes are c,d,e,o and probably three more that I canno remember @ heart (pls don't tell my professor lol), some are further divided into different cities where they were found like HgDharlem. Collect blood samples from all three of them in an Heparin tube and send to an Hematology lab going to agbabiaka community hospital and lab will not help in this case
It's always refreshing to read an intelligent post. Thanks

This is quite strange. I can only still feel there is a mistake in one of the three tests. It is simply not possible for an AA mother to have an SS baby. Please let's try and deal with hard facts here, and leave out all the 'spiritual' stuff.

Demburrows:
If Nigeria divides it won't be rosy for south west, how do we finance exploitation and importation of crude when we can't pay civil servents. The best is to go on diplomacy with biafrans.
See how the lingering fuel scarcity is most prevalent in north and SW states which is invariably having a down time to the economy of
SW with no electricity.
If Nigeria divides the little industries we have here in SW will have no option than to leave.
I am from the SS, but I really can't believe this is from a genuine SW. How did the SW survive in the 50s and 60s. You were the biggest cocoa producers in the world! Your fathers developed the western region and built cocoa house in Ibadan all from the proceeds of cocoa and other agric products.
This is the problem with Nigeria today, ALL the regions have become lazy, everybody is just waiting for monthly allocation of oil money. Every region in Nigeria has sufficient human and natural resources to be buoyant. One day when the oil is no longer available, they will be forced to look inwards
Politics › Re: Does Our President - Elect Intend To Keep His Word? - Vanguard by bjdon: 8:42am On May 12, 2015
As I've said in the past, I do not support Buhari, but this kind of attack is just plain stupid. The man has not even been sworn in yet. All over the world Politicians make promises during the campaigns which they don't keep. The real test is weather they do their best, within the prevailing conditions to meet the bulk of their promises.

As for the issue of 1N to 1$, Buhari never said that and every sane person who reads what he said, knows he never said that, so why do some people keep recycling this trash?

The time to give rigorous and unrelenting opposition to Buhari will come, but for now we are better served putting our country first. Let's allow the man assume office, put his team together, take stock of the situation on ground, and start work. Then we can start to properly analyze and criticize his (non)Performance.

Why should the VP head the transaition committee,

Just as Buhari cannot head the transition committee.

Why are you people looking for issues where there is none.
Google is your friend.

Go and check out what happens in other countries, the VP elect is always very prominent where there is a transition from one party to the next. Its basic protocol, barring the President he's the next most senior. if something happens to the president early in the administration he needs to be able to step up with no hiccups. The fact here is that he has been completely ignored and some 80 something year old Northerner who was not even involved in the campaign is now the transition head. SW and Tinubu will learn the hard way that fear of the Fulani is the beginning of wisdom!
Politics › Re: Why Bola Tinubu & Muhammadu Buhari Marriage Is Falling Apart by bjdon: 10:27am On May 11, 2015
I did not support Buhari and I don't like Tinubu, but I hate to see history turned on it's head.

We must always strive to say and stand by the truth at all times. How can the Northerners now come up and say they could have won without the SW and Tinubu? That is a big joke. Yes the numbers from the North may have been bigger in the final analysis, but the fact is the SW provided an invaluable service. They made Buhari look electable. By providing a pastor as his running mate, that gave cover to Northern Christians in places like Benue, Plateau and Adamawa to vote for Buhari. Also the SW support for Buhari, forced GEJ to spend a lot of campaign resources there. If the SW had opted for GEJ, then he could have focused more efforts in the NE/NC and would have def reduced Buhari's vote tally there.

Like I said I don't like or Support Tinubu/Buhari. I am a SS'ener so a part of me is glad to see Tinubu get butt bleeped by the Malams, but however this pans out, we all must never let the history of the 2015 election be distorted. Tinubu and the SW put Buhari in Aso Rock. Without them he would not have won. Period.
Politics › Re: Buhari : I Came In At The Wrong Time by bjdon: 9:46am On May 11, 2015
Why does Buhari always refer to the 'The last 16 years'? Was Nigeria a land of Milk and Honey in 1999. The corruption and waste and inept leadership has been around since Independence. He tries to make it sound like it's only been in the last 16 years that all Nigeria's problems have arisen. Was Nigerian Airways working at full capacity in Abacha's time? Was NNSL? Please Buhari should stop all the blame throwing. Get into office, appoint seasoned technocrats to run vital ministries and departments, clamp down on ALL corruption and in 4 years Nigerians will see a difference in their daily life. It's not rocket science just needs determination.
Politics › Re: APC Crisis: Northern Leaders Move To Cut Tinubu To Size by bjdon: 10:45pm On May 10, 2015
Obasanjo put Fulani man Yardua in office only for Yardua to turn round and cut him down to size, expect the same to happen to Tinunbu. The fact the VP elect is not the head of the transition comitee speaks volumes. Tinunbu will not believe what hit him by the time Northern hawks finish with him
Politics › Re: Tinubu May End Up Being Stranded In Buhari's Presidency!! by bjdon: 11:32am On May 09, 2015
What do you think Obasanjo has advised Buhari? He would have advised him to cut Tinunbu down to size the way he had to cut Atiku. There can't be 2 generals and a Fulani will Never accept an over bearing Yoruba. Look at what Yaradua did to Obj. Tinunbu and by extension the SW are to going to find things quite rough going forward. I won't be surprised to see a SE/SS selected as VP in 2019

So the top priority of this incoming administration, with ALL the problems facing us as a Nation, is the dress code of female journalists?? I am seeing it now so that nobody will say one is talking with benefit of hindsight, this govt will be a complete and unmitigated disaster. Buhari has NO concept of how a modern country should be run. El-Rufai was quite correct in his damming analysis of the man years back, but of course now, for political gain he changed tone. No wahala, many of us warned the 'Change' manics but they did not hear, so now we dey watch, beer in hand (until the Imam bans alcohol!!)
