Strrrrrrrrrrrrrressss-freeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee!!! The freedom to do as I damn well please. No questions asked. Absolute 100% UNCONDITIONAL love and tolerance from the spouse. The love na helele! No arguments! Greaaaaaaaaaaat "sesssssss" ![]() Never ever going to bed angry or keeping malice. The fact that I don't have to cook or clean. Being with my best friend. No wahala atol atol. . .purrrrrrrfect 'gentulu' man. ![]() Most importantly the laughter and 'wicked' sense of humor. Never a dull moment I tellya. ![]() |
Will NEVER stop where there is a stop sign. . . NEVER. Even in the front of a YELLOW pedestrian crossing in a zero mile per hour shopping/grocery district. ![]() Hates change. Too much routine. Flexibility? For whia! ![]() Very predictable and absolutely no surprises. Cheap skate too. ![]() Dat wan fit stretch one dollar reach 100 'dollar'! Im one penny nor dey fall for grand! |
So, all that church-going and tithe-paying na for nothing? Where is the 'su-su' when you need it? Nigerians are selfish by nature. . .so don't expect any help when you need it. If you beta na. . .who go do 'i better pass my neigbour'? ![]() Them worst? Yoruba and Igbo people. All they know how to do is 'take, take and take'! If it is not gonna benefit them. . .forgetchyuuu!!! Greeeeeeeeeeedy and selfish to the bone. One of the reasons I absolutely cannot stand 'em. Yes! That is a general statement. ![]() Rather than be at the mercy of Nigerians if I ever need ANY help. . .I'd rather go homeless. Kpata kpata I knack that Okija/Ogboni-looking red cap for head, tanda for Super-Walmart begin dey ring bell for outside dem doormot to beg for money. Shioooooooooooor!!! Swipe it and chaaaaaaaaaaaaaaarge it! Bank Of America Dot Come!!! Thank God for Oyinbo peep and credit cards! |
Still don't get the reason for opening this thread.
I intend to post pictures of aso ebi(party uniforms)worn by couples or groups in Nigerian parties I have attended or seen in magazines. I will also grade color co-ordination. The reason so-dia-fore. . . is to share and not to 'cyber-chat'. The purpose of the thread was stated in my first post. . . read again. Blazay:Right there. |
Screeeeeening for 'internet riff-raffs' before I respond. . . . I don't want to respond to NL godmothers and godfathers of the h-internet. ![]() Ivynwa: Isabella89:Who told-jha'yawl dat? Ogboni and Okija oracles nor be internet access? Errrn. . . .they should use that kind of 'local' access na. Haba! Must everything be 'oyinbo' access? ![]() |
With all the professions out there. . .one can only find all kinds of dress codes. Some professional and others casual. My favorite? Auto mechanics. ![]() I took my car to the dealership for maintenance and found the men all dressed with "gatored" pairs of jeans and heavily 'starched' shirts. Let me just say. . .they all looked sooooooooo good. Meet my co-workers. ![]() In "Tegese's" hotel joint! S-P-O-R-T-Y! Ready to run. . . !!! ![]() Mu he he he he Now, back to the pictures of my favorite collections of uniforms that make 'fashion' sense. Nurses. . . ![]() Mechanics. . . ![]() YESSS! ![]() The US military has the best uniforms in the world. . .talk about charisma! |
Did your momma send you to your husband's house with a truck load of Ghana-Must-Go bags with all kinds of aso ebis? Mine did just that. ![]() Till today I can't get used to not doing 'and co' with the 'spouse'. I love 'aso ebi' in parties especially when a husband and wife co-ordinate and accessorize their outfits with a sense of ownership. Lovely pictures of aso ebi coming up. Mine included. ![]() |
And there was their daughter to consider. She wouldn’t put her through a divorce. Modupe is hoping that Larry’s demons would be exorcised in time so she can have her husband and marriage back. How long will it take? Will she have to let go?It is the daughter's happiness and well being that is to be considered ONLY. "Demons" only manifest when you get into a marriage. . . ooops, too late then. That is marriage for ya. It gets better with time. ![]() Modupe may have to let go. . .but she should be ready for the consequences and live with them without taking out the frustrations of 'singledom' on her daughter in the future when she becomes a single parent. Nothing to share really. Marriage is not for every body. But, a miserable married person is ALWAYS better than a miserable divorced person. It is better to be single than to get married and get divorced. No matter how baaaaaaad a spouse is. . .you will find out that there is something you will miss about that person. . .and IT WILL DRIVE YOU NUTS! ALL men basically have the same needs. . .sex, food and ego stroking. ALL women basically have the same needs. . . sleep, money, pampering. Divorce is a waste of time. Ask those who have tried it. ALL have regretted that action because they could have managed the situations better. The grass is NEVER greener on the outside. You are only gonna inherit someone's wahala. . , I'd rather keep mine. . . Bottom line? Stay single. . .or stay married. |
Easy. The same way you got married. You don't need a divorce in Nigeria. Just pack your bags and go. Just as you packed your bags and came. |
Just wondering how our grand-mothers and great-grand-mothers coped with little or no education. Yet, they had the healthiest of children. Non-viable ones did not survive of course. They seemed to take much better care of themselves than these new-generation enlightened women. Wonders! Porson go go carry belle without knowing how to take care of herself and the pregnancy in this day and age? With all the 'googleliscious' and 'wikipedious' resources out there? Na wah! |
Oh well. Inferiority complex comes in different forms. I love my men dark sha. . . I can't do 'yellow' boyz. Don't like banana-looking dee-kies. ![]() |
Hmmm. . . I always thought you 'did' and pee'ed with the same hole. ![]() Till I discovered UNIBEN boyzzzzz from. |
Hmmm. Real taboo. I bet he will never forgive and forget the insult. Some mothers-in-law sha. ![]() Obviously one of those women who does not mean well for her daughter and her marriage. Nigeria is full of them. |
Loved SMA gold for the last 2 children stuck in Nigeria. But coming to the land of the free and brave. . . Similac fussy sensitive for nursing babies. The closest thing for full-term new-born infants without reflux or colic. For spitty kids. . . Similac-Isomil-less-fussy! For underweight infants. . . Similac Neosure 22 calories or Enfacare 22 calories per once! ![]() NO water for the first 6 months! We are not in Nigeria where poverty forces us to feed our infants with 'akamu' and 'water'! This can cause brain retardation and even juvnile onset senility. . . .as you can see from many posters around NL. |
snowdrops:Must be one of those Okoro-Ngbatic taboo dudes. Sorry, you ain't qualified. Y'all are too bush anyway. . . the reason you keep jumping from woman to woman. If you learned how to boil water to even ccok an egg. . .you will not be choosing btw mama and wife's food! Lazy drones! Good-for-nothing slacky balls! |
Game ova of course! |
Never! Especially if that 'friend' is a female and SINGLE! I have never done that and NEVER will. You are only inviting gossips into your life. Ever wondered how all those 'pastors' see visions and prophesies? Those so-called friends like awon 'SISTAH VISION EZEWANKWOS are the ones rattin' on ya arzzzze! ![]() Verrrrrrry capable of handling ALL domestic issues myself. I will not even tell my mom or my sister. Not to talk of friend. I do NOT listen to their own wahalas too. Not interested! |

During one of my fights with one of those UGLY, Yoruba agbaya-dudes on Nigeriaworld. I slaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaap the old baba well-well! ![]() Got banned after cussing out his momma and poppa. ![]() Na today? ![]() I am sure he has been following me around all these years from one Nigerian forum to another. One very ugly, dirty, buuuuuuuuuuuush man from Ijebu of "ODES". . .without teeth, always smoking "Igbo" as medical marijuana to cure depression and impotence! ![]() I absolutely cannot stand those "Deji of Akure"/Sharia-Christians and male chauvinists who think women should be seen and not heard! He wanted to turn me into one of his cyber 'Bolanles' of the h-internet. I just let him have it! The lousy 'jigga' of a creature! ![]() Gosh. . . I still miss that 'dancing' dude called Olukwujunction. Extremely mature crowd though with no ashewo moderators/forum leaders and chartered members for dia. The forum section don quench since. . . God catch them like it is catching all the other 'dry' fora like NVS that is full of troublesome Yoruba-okoro peeps! ![]() Anyhoo, back to topic. Another poster there on Nigeriaworld mentioned NL as a site for 'agberos'(insulted me there and said I fit in the NL group of agberos. Can you imagine the rubbish?) and I clicked on the website and saw corrrrrrrrrrect rofo-rofo and the sexuality section of 'can you suck this and can you suck that'! ![]() The rest as they would say is history! Still is history! Always be history! ![]() |
None! Reason? Mu he he he he he Long tori! I nor get chance to h-esplain. Besides, disi nor be de kain mata wey porson suppos' juuuge on Soindays. Try tomorrow abeg. ![]() Okay. Jokes apart . . . I will choose Michelin89 in the "Culture" section. Reason? Always very focused and commands a lot of respect. ![]() An independent mind without a 'gang', butt-kissing kparokpoish mentality. Very well-mannered and very articulate. Not to mention beaurriful. . .I mean . . . . .A REEEEEEEAL, NATURAL BEAUTY. I always stop by her profile pic once in a while to catch a glimpse of her (no wor-wor face with 'black charcoal", back of pot skin atol atol ![]() The babe dey dressssssssss shegey I swia! Seeeeee fashiooooooooooon! korrrrrrrrrrrrrect light, tasteful make-up. ![]() We all have our 'deformities' abi? Feel freeeeeee to laugh at mine. . . while I laugh at yours. Mwaaaaah!!! Mu he he he he he She is not YORUBA OR IGBO! Thank God! ![]() |
^^^ And who told you it is by my power? I am always watching and praying. . .for the right reasons ONLY. Not to keep a useless man/woman in my life. NOTHING is by any human power. My God has the final say and whatever his will. . . . .good or bad, I will respect it. He has super blessed me enough. I lack absolutely NOTHIN! ![]() Btw, this tori don circulate all over NL like pure-water sachet for under Alhaji Marsha bridge for Suru-Lere Lagos, Nigeria. . .abeg bring anoda wan. |
