You are the one who is unexposed if you don't know that shaking with both hands is a form of shaking anywhere in the world and it communicates a more intense emotion and regard.

Whenever an elderly person extends a hand to me, I shake the hand with two hands to show regards. To friends, I shake hands normally.

During my theology school days in Italy, there was a professor who shook every hand with both of his hands. He is a well traveled man with many honorary doctorates.

I am sure you read only the title of the thread.

If you read the whole story, you would have realized that the FG is being accused of a lack of transparency.

This particular project had failed (stalled) as way back a 2012. But when the Buhari administration came on board, it kept financing the debt for a project that had failed or stalled.

The group suing want the government to come out clear about the current state of the project because it wouldn't make sense for the country to be servicing a debt for which nothing had been produced.

In summary, the group suing wants a jurist writ to compel the minister of finance to come out clear about the failed project.

Christianity EtcRe: 5 Things That God's Anointing Cannot Do by BluntBoy(m): 10:18am On Dec 01, 2019
The erroneous teaching that we all need to be condemning and correcting is the teaching that only those who call themselves pastors are anointed.

This teaching is destructive and makes people value pastors even more than Jesus Christ.

I have heard many Christians talk about respecting the anointing of their Daddy GO, and when I try to teach them that every Christian has been anointed, they look at me strangely. To them, they either don't have anointing or their anointing is inferior to that of their pastors.

But when John mentioned the anointing of all Christians, he didn't mention that some Christian would have superior anointing or that anointing would have grades.

But you have an anointing from the Holy One, and all of you know the truth. (1 John 2:20)

What really does the word Anointed mean? It means to be set aside, especially for a religious or holy function(s). In those days, kings, priests, and virtually anyone were anointed or anointed themselves for religious and holy purposes. While there were various reasons for anointing oneself or someone, the anointing which we talk about most frequently is the anointing which consecrates us and prepares us for a religious or holy office. For instance, Aaron and his sons were consecrated with oil for the task of conducting God's work to the children of God. King Saul was consecrated with oil to lead God's people. So, an anointed person means a chosen one

Christ was the chosen one appointed by God to bring the Good News to us. When Christ left earth, He left us the gift of the Holy Spirit. We (Christians), all of us, are now the chosen ones appointed by Christ with the Holy Spirit to spread the Good News to those who have not heard it or are still being held captive in sin.

Now it is God who makes both us and you stand firm in Christ. He anointed us, set his seal of ownership on us, and put his Spirit in our hearts as a deposit, guaranteeing what is to come. (2 Corinthians 21-22)

Some people are advising OP never to give out his bank details.

The advice should rather be not to give out your bank details to just anyone.

While I was in the university, my bank details were on the phones of many of my uncles. How else would I get more money if I didn't share my details with these uncles?

However, I can never give out my details to a friend. One guy who was just a neighbor (an acquaintance) saw that I always received packages from Konga. He tried talking me into using my Kongapay account to purchase a laptop. His plan was to pay into my bank account attached to my Kongapay. I told him I couldn't. And took my time to teach him how to open a Kongapay account and register his debit card.

I know Nigerians will come for me and call this article treasonous. And if this was posted after a certain social media bill was passed, I might need a lawyer right now. But the truth must be told. I’d like to say though, that this is not a prediction. It’s just me laying down the facts that we’ve either not seen or decided to ignore. In all sincerity I would say that AJ-Ruiz 2 is a 50–50 match because both fighters have their qualities, but I lean towards Ruiz for the victory.

In anticipation of one of the greatest boxing matches of the decade, let us explore five reasons why I believe that the former unified world champion, Anthony Joshua, will lose to Andy Ruiz on December 7, 2019.

1. Boxing is not body building

Sorry, boxing fans. The muscles have to go. Well, it’s either that or Anthony Joshua must develop a different style of boxing. Generally, tall boxers never carry so much muscle mass. It gives them problems with mobility, speed and stamina. It’s usually short boxers like Mike Tyson and Evander Holyfield that can make up for lack of height by building muscle because they don’t weigh so much. AJ has been able to get away with it because he scores the knockout early and rarely fights for 12 rounds. My prediction: Once the fight progresses beyond the sixth round, it’s another loss for AJ because he has not shown that he can compete at that Ruiz-level of intensity for 12 rounds.

Hello Nairalanders,

I had to create this new Acct to post this
Pls permit my typographical errors
Last week Saturday I was reading when I got a call from a friend that he needs my account number because his account can’t take the sum of money he wants to receive from the person that wants to transfer for him I asked him how much he said 300K I said jokingly that he should go and get a better account and stop operation student accounts. So I sent him my account details and the person sending him money credited my account 50K I told him that I revived only 50K not 300K he said yes that the person has reached his limit for the day ..

I seen him his money later in the evening via Quickteller because the server was not good and I was left with only 22K that was in my account before ok good ..

Fast forward to yesterday Evening I tried checking my account my login in and I noticed my account has been restricted I was confused on what might have happened I thought it’s something simple that I’ll walk to the bank and perfect it .. then I decided to message the costumer care I was told I need to update my Bvn informations that I should dial a particular number and follow instructions I tried it but it’s not working .

I’m suppose to visit the bank today but I was busy

Just after my Pratical in school today I was sitting when my guy called me again that is there anything wrong with my account he said I should not go to the bank because the 50K transaction that was sent earlier was fraudulent I was like wtf but he dropped the call ..

I called him again his contact was not available so after sometimes he messaged me online telling me the guy that sent it used his brothers account and he told him that it’s not from his account that his own personal account has been locked too because he later revived money directly from him and that’s how he got to know ..

What i’m after is a solution now can I go to the bank and explain my self already or what can I do to make all this not to bounce on me because I know noting about it I’ve never received any fraudulent transactions before someone said I should take him along to the bank and just hand him over when anything happens all
I need is a solution right now me mad the guy went to same primary school and secondary so I know him very well and made me trust him with my account what can I do right now
Your account has been flagged.

Get your friend to follow you to the bank. If your friend refuses, report at a police station. Before you do so, you might see if you can get more evidence. Call your friend and make a recording of your conversation. Ensure that your friend repeats the talk about the fraud and all its pathways before it got to you. The police will give you the advice needed to unblock your bank account and move the matter forward from there.

But I still can't sleep in a room with people moving around anyway. I'd sense it and wake up.
There is no one in this world who trusts everyone. But anyone who doesn't trust at least someone will end up in a psychiatric hospital with a diagnosis of paranoia.

As for the story of a woman being poisoned by her best friend, that is not new. There are worse scenarios: a father raping his own daughter. Does it mean we should tell girls to stop trusting their fathers?

You have trust issues.

And it can be detrimental to your health if you don't address it.

One way to address this issue is to intently look at the issue from different angles.

One angle: even if your partner sleeps in bed with you, what is the assurance that they won't still get up while you are asleep and strangle you? Or is it possible for you to keep awake all night?

This is also what I tell people with trust issues. I tell them, you just have to trust someone. Paranoia is a serious health hazard, and many people who suffer from paranoia never enjoy normal life. They are always scared that they will be harmed.

Okay, here's the thing

A friend of mine got married less than a year now. He has this habit of sometimes waking up at night (anytime between 2:00am to like 5:00am) and go to the leaving room to watch TV (mostly weekends). Most if the time, he is back in bed before 5:00am.

But his wife gets mad at him for leaving her side. He said that she is usually fast asleep in this period, it's not like they're going to have sex, or have a conversation or anything. She just wants him to be in bed beside her.

He thinks it's he didn't do anything wrong... I think so too

Please married men in the house, do you experience this too? Is my friend wrong to watch TV in the living room at night leaving his wife's side or is the woman just over reacting?
She is obviously a clingy woman. Clingy people can be a pain in the ass.

Personally, I don't believe in the phenomenon of "ghost workers". The reason is very simple.Either they are ghosts or they are "workers". If they are ghosts, they should be resting in their Graves. If they're workers then they should be paid.
The phenomenon is real, and it happens through two ways:

1. The person does not do any actual work for the company and yet he is on their payroll. This always happens through a scheme where a government worker uses a real person as a ghost worker. The corrupt government worker is aware of this person, but the government (the employer) is not aware. The government worker and the ghost worker then share their proceeds every month.

2. A government worker dies, but some corrupt people/persons manages to keep them on the payroll. The ghost worker is innocent (because they are dead and are not participating in the fraud).

Vladmir Klitschko. There are few boxers over 40. It's not a kind sport. But check aging fighters on the decline. Power is the last thing that goes out. Mike Tyson and Lennox Lewis come to mind.

Ortiz did stretch Wilder in their first fight. Almost knocked him down in the 7th round or so. Check out his highlights. The man can box and he has power.
The powers of boxers decline with age. That is a fact. And it is for all sports. The reflexes of a 40-year old goalkeeper cannot be compared to the reflexes of the same goalkeeper when he was in his teens or twenties.

However, experience increases with age (from number of fights).

Moreover, none of Lewis and/or Tyson fought into their forties. So, Foreman is an exception.

And it appears like Ortiz is even over 40. He is an old man.

Wait till Wilder gets hit by Anthony Joshua before you all praise his chin.

The last thing an aging fighter loses is his punching power. Speed, stamina, reflexes, etc., would go but not punch power. Check out George Foreman becoming heavyweight champion in his 40s. He did that on raw one punch knockout power. And an iron chin. That's what Wilder has been living on for the past 40+ fights. Eating punches over several rounds and throwing haymakers in search of that knockout. He has a granite chin and he has world class stamina.
Ortiz is not Foreman. And Foreman was an exception. What other 40+ heavyweights can you mention?

Wilder does have a granite chin. That's what taking several punches on your feet means. He also has a resilient heart and a he's very patient. And the same way Ortiz got tired is the exact same way Joshua would get tired. AJ has stamina issues. Goan watch AJ Ruiz round 6. He was very tired. Goan watch AJ Klistchko round 6. Same thing.
Wilder's chin is suspect as he has never really fought anyone who can/could be regarded as a hard hitter.

Ortiz was way past his prime, and yet the old man's punches hurt Wilder. Since Wilder does not throw much, Joshua will definitely punish him a lot. We will know how strong he is when he meets a hard hitter like Joshua on Joshua's good day.

The real fights come next year Fury Vs Wilder followed by a unification bout.
Wilder has a weak point in stamina and if an opponent can stand his right jab like Fury did last time, we may just see an overthrow. Till date though, I doubt Joshua can beat any of the 2 aforementioned men.
I believe Joshua can beat Wilder.

Wilder is a poorer fighter than Joshua. The only thing Wilder has going on for him is his right hand which is likened to a dynamite.

Wilder is that boxer who loses every round until he manages to land a clean shot, and ends the match.

Luiz Ortiz whooped his ass all over the ring until the old man got tired and dropped his guard.

In their rematch, Ortiz whooped his ass again until he got tired and dropped his guard.

The same thing played out in his match against Fury. Getting knocked around like a thief until he was able to land clean shots flush on Fury.

However, another credit that must be given to Wilder is his ability to take a punch. Getting whooped every round and yet never getting knocked down is a wonder. He doesn't appear to have a granite chin, but he seems to be a real fighter. The sort that never gives up easily no matter the amount of punishment he gets.

But I believe that AJ can beat him. Fury already whooped his ass but the judges saved him using his two knockdowns to neutralize Fury's dominance in the entire match.

These suicides might not even be connected to the present economic situation of the country.

Look at the 400 level student that committed suicide recently. His decision to end his life stemmed from his ability to see any meaning to his life. It could be that nothing stimulates him anymore.

Even suicide rates are higher in developed countries than here. Which means anyone can slip into depression.

Former unified heavyweight champion Anthony Joshua has a big task in front of him as he tries to recapture his world title belts from Andy Ruiz later this year, but he still knows that should he win he’ll be right back in the mix for some of the biggest fights to make in boxing — against Deontay Wilder and Tyson Fury.

But for now Fury is slated to take on little-known Otto Wallin in his next outing while Wilder looks to rematch Luis Ortiz. It’s essentially been confirmed that Wilder and Fury will then rematch one another should they both get through these interim fights clean. Joshua, however, isn’t exactly impressed by either man’s level of chosen competition.
I understand that a man with belts has more chance to unify the heavyweight division.

But then, it doesn't mean that beating Ruiz in December would make the unification fight close. It would only mean that Joshua would be back in the mix.

I still insist that he shouldn't have rushed it.

Mark my words: There will not be a unification fight in 2020.

If Joshua beats Andy Ruiz, he will most certainly fight 2 times in 2020 against mandatories. Perhaps, we may have a Joshua vs Whyte 2 or Joshua vs Chisora or Joshua vs Pulev. But we will never have a Joshua vs Wilder/Fury in 2020.

there was a plan by wilder and the rest to freeze him out , and dont forget that he isnt an american , the wbc is belt is held by deontay and they ard wbc is doing everything possible to make him safe , even just recently then gave all their champs franchise champion , the only leverage for joshua that will make him relevant was to get a rematch and get his belt back , dont forget we are talking about 3 belts now , not just one . he had 3 belts and he toyed with it , if he didnt exercise the rematch clause instantly after the match , wildere would have organized a unification bout with ruiz and that would have been the end for joshua at least for sometime
Forget it, bro. There can never be a unification bout now or even in 2020.

First of all, Wilder has a rematch with Fury on February next year. This cancels out any mandatory obligations from WBC. So, as it is, Wilder can't fight any WBC mandatory until after February. Should the rematch with Fury fall through, the next ranked WBC mandatory would fight Wilder.

Supposing Andy Ruiz does not fight Joshua in December, he has the belts of 3 federations, each federation has a list of mandatories. So, it is just impossible for the WBC to try and play politics where 3 other federations are concerned.

In my opinion, Joshua should have had something like a comeback fight or two to get back his confidence and take off pressure. He can fight two times, one in December and maybe in February in the undercard of Wilder-Fury 2. By March or April, he should be ready for Ruiz.

Wilder cannot arrange a unification fight between June 2019 and April 2020.

getting a rematch instantly was the best decision , who else is there for him to fight ?he has fought virtually all the top contenders and won , he beat dillian, parker, kilitkov, and all others , the only person remaining for him to beat at his level is deontay , and he knows that if he doesn't get the rematch , deontay and ruiz are both on the same network (fox) ,they would have organized a unified fight between wilder and deontay and that will put him in a very bad position because he will no longer be a mandatory challenger , so getting the rematch before ruiz fight anyone else is that best .
Boxing does not work the way you have put it.

There are four major belts in boxing and mandatories are determined by ranks and sometimes politics.

Joshua is highly ranked across all the four boxing federations, and he would have been a mandatory however you looked at it. He wouldn't have needed to rematch Ruiz to be a mandatory to Wilder. After all, even Whyte who has no belt should have been a mandatory to Wilder if not for WBC politics.
