Some weeks back, a guy saw my wares online and came around to pick some footwears since we are in same city. He kept on talking on phone with a particular girl (my girl) about the type of shoe she likes. Remember I just gave her a new pair when she requested for one. Not even up to a month.

So this guy selected 3 pairs of shoes - two males shoes and one female own. He just told me to packet them that he would call me when money comes in. Fast-forward to today, he called in the afternoon and gave me a location to bring the shoe that he went out with his girl and will be traveling in the morning.

I dressed up, picked up the shoes at the shop and dashed to the location only to meet him with my girlfriend.

I just pretended like nothing happened, passed the shoes to him. She was shocked to the marrow but the guy never noticed. He asked her to wear the shoe so as to see how it suits but she just told him that he shouldn't bother that it's OK.

He paid me and as I was about leaving, he called me back and introduced me to his girl. I told her my name like we just met and left.

That's just it. I'm out for good. I'm free

All I know is that the extradition treaties agreed between the United States and Nigeria is certainly older than many of us on this thread. Since 1935. I wouldn't know why they wouldn't have with Russia or China.

In all, the treaty is there and we cannot overlook it simply because China and Russia didn't enter into such an agreement.

I've seen many people arguing unnecessarily without understanding what the US is after, you nailed it. They have laid down policies there that can't be manipulated but at the same Russia or China or even USA won't throw out their own for cases like this rather they will forfeit the funds outside their territory but in Nigeria we have to throwout ours. I don't see Russia or China listening to USA blabbing even when their citizen who is arguably an asset does such.

The United States has extradition treaties with Nigeria. She does not have with China and Russia so you cannot just compare sections of foreign relations that are different.

It was because of people like Abacha that the anti-money laundering act gets amended nearly every year. You can't compare the anti-money laundering act during the Abacha regime to now. The act gets revised nearly every year. If Onyeama is guilty, the United States would certainly review their anti-money laundering act and make it tighter by covering more loopholes.

So, that Abacha conveniently laundered money in the early and late 90s does not mean he can conveniently do it again. The act gets tighter every year with less and less loopholes, all thanks to technology.

Let me enlighten you. A man of God is one who sincerely does God's work. The keyword is sincerely

Ibiyeomi is a pastor and a televangelist. You yourself have admitted that he does not take earnings from his books. So, where does he get all these monies he used and still uses for his philanthropy?

Ordinarily, a pastor should never earn salaries. Neither the priests of old not Jesus Christ and His disciples earned salaries. If Ibiyeomi does not earn salaries, then it must be contributions tripling into millions which ought to go into church accounts for funding in the name of Christ using the Church.

Deviating attention from the missionary leanings of the Church onto yourself amounts to selfishness and self-centeredness which are vice that shouldn't even be slightly detected on the person of a supposed man of God.

Ibiyeomi has no paid job. He ought not to. Because the job of spreading the Good News is an unpaid work that every believer in Christ has been commissioned with.

Someone reading this might currently be like I was in those days; being held back and feels repulsed from becoming a bornagain Christian because of the thoughts that: God doesn't want genuine Christians to be great in this World, and/or that bornagain Christianity means very dull boring way of Life.

Many substances, including even medicines, can suppress dream sleep.

So, while it is possible for marijuana to suppress dream sleep, it doesn't mean it releases demons. Or would you say antidepressants which have been know to suppress dream sleep also empower demons?

Whether it's politicians, or businessmen, the ignorance we have of the US system while also wanting to participate in business with the US is dangerous. The United States is a very litigious, harsh country and ignorance of the law does not excuse a person in court. If you're going to engage in business with a country, know the laws, culture and mentality on the ground.

I do believe race and origin (Africa) played a role because almost everyone in the United States does not believe there are wealthy people in Africa. They don't believe it, and they don't want to believe it. So, while all large transactions are flagged in the US, ones from African or Black hands are particularly flagged.

The US has a long, difficult history with racism and when engaging with Americans, Nigerians can no longer be comfortable with fairy tale assumptions that you're dealing with someone that doesn't have a potentially malicious attitude towards you simply for being black and an Africa. We may even add Nigerian as Americans are not learning that Africa has different countries.

Nigerians enter the world assuming all evil exists in Africa and all good comes from non-Africans. Because of this we are ill-equip, mentally, to do business with anyone outside of Africa and we're constantly caught by surprise when they show malice or ill intent. I don't know if there was bad intent in the Onyema situation. As a fact, I do know that this is regular protocol. But I can safely assume that Onyema thought Americans would be happy to see him spend money in their country, as most naive Nigerians world.


Word of advice. The world is a world in competition. You cannot operate at a global level, assuming that the only people that don't want you to do well are the people in your village.

There is a difference between assertion (which was what Bush made against Saddam Hussein) and an indictment (which the United States Department of Justice obtained against the Air Peace boss).

It is the only institute in Nigeria that has the authority to produce coaches in Nigeria whether it is for football, basketball, wrestling, boxing, etc. I am supposing that you want to be a football coach. You need to go to this institute or travel out to become a coach. It is the only institute recognized by CAF, FIFA, and other football governing bodies for producing coaches in Nigeria.

However, you must not be older than 40 (I don't know if they have extended the age limit up to 50-60) as at the time you apply.

I don't know about the fees. But the application form is 10,000 naira.

I used phones with the same backlight level in a bid to control extraneous/confounding variables such as variations in levels of visibility.

The result was constant across the three groups: You are not bad looking.
