tendingNews:This report isn't complete. You didn't tell us what exactly the girl said that elicited so many baffled responses, even from our yeyebrities. |
Gracealone:And supposing they had tried the same woman, one would still have to consider many other variables. Supposing Dino is judging performance based on the day Yahaya Bello was tired, then he would be mistaken to think that Yahaya is always weak in bed. To prove this beyond every reasonable doubt, they must be subjected to a laboratory experiment. Confounding variables such as stress, tiredness, anxiety must be put under control, and their body systems must be cleansed of all forms of sex-enhancing drugs to ensure fair play. Then they must be given the same woman or women with the same level of sexiness. I will be willing to be the one to spearhead the experiment and measure their performances. |
DrKKK1:You ought to know that in politics, there are no permanent friends/enemies. So, that Dino and Natasha are allies does not say much other than what politics is-- a game of interest. Tomorrow, Natasha might change allies again. |
dantob:The Church does not lead to heaven. The Word does. Christ is the only Way. |
I tell people that there is absolutely nothing humble about Messi. He is just as egoistic and self-important as Ronaldo. The only difference between them is that Messi is a pretender while Ronaldo can't pretend. Messi also doesn't really mind if someone else gets a goal as long as Barca wins because he knows that he would get the shine off the collective victory. This is something that Ronaldo cannot tolerate. His own idea of taking the shine is to score the only goal or to score at least a brace. If he hasn't achieved this, he would never be happy if someone else in the team scores. I don't blame either of them, though. I blame the footballing world who overhype their contributions. The players who do some of the dirtier and harder jobs such as the defensive midfielders and the defenders get forgotten. All the praises go to the strikers. Football is a team sport but award organizers have reduced it to an individual sport. |
maybanks:Well, powerful is the right word to use. Some of them can be so powerful that even the president depends totally on them. Read how the power of a chief of staff is summarized here: "Without a great chief of staff, a president frankly doesn't know what he is doing," says Robert Reich, Clinton's secretary of labor. https://www.businessinsider.com/what-the-white-house-chief-of-staff-does-2018-5 |
SarkinYarki:Hierarchy does not necessarily mean power. It only means line of succession. If the president is unavailable, the Vice takes over. If both are unavailable, the Senate president takes over. It doesn't state the extent of their powers, or an hierarchy of power. Even in the United States, the COS is more powerful than the Vice President. |
cicero:And you took it literally. OK, explain how the Devil steals? Can you explain that? The Bible is not a storybook. It is a powerful message that needs to be read with the Wisdom of the Holy Spirit. The Devil was a murderer from the beginning not because he murdered anyone but because he tempted man to sin (die). He deceived man into falling out of favor in the eyes of God. He destroyed the relationship Adam had with God, the very same relationship that Jesus came to earth to fix. If man had not sinned, we would have lived forever without Jesus having to come to redeem us. The devil cannot kill. He cannot even make you sin. He can only deceive you into sinning. If the Devil had the power to make you sin, then sinners would not be punished for their sin. God would not have punished Adam and Eve. He punished them because they were the ones who sinned. The Devil tempted them but they had the will to reject the temptation. |
coolfredo:Do not read the Bible literally all the time. When God said Adam would die if he ate the forbidden fruit, why didn't Adam die? It is because God was not referring to death as we know it, but alienation from the love of God. The devil is a deceiver, and he uses deceit to destroy your relationship with God. Nowhere was it recorded that the Devil killed anyone in the Bible. And in Job, it is impossible to say the Devil killed Job's family because it would mean that the Devil had power over nature as to make a strong wind destroy their home. God allowed everything. The Devil does not have that authority. He is a deceiver. His tool is deceit and this is what he uses to alienate man from God. He doesn't make you to sin, rather he tempts or deceives you into sinning. |
GoodMuyis:Those are edited versions. Every boxer has those on YouTube that focuses majorly on their major highlights. Don't judge their strengths based on that. |
alBHAGDADI:You are messing everything up. Kill can mean as many things as possible. When God said man would die if he ate the forbidden fruit, He meant that man would be alienated from God. Being separated from God is as good as dead. Perhaps, the Devil can kill, perhaps not, but the Bible never said the Devil had the power to kill. Whether Job existed or whether the story is a moral lesson (and not a true life story) is anyone's guess, but even in that story, we can learn that the Devil does not have any power over us except God allows him. So, in one way or the other, every death on earth is attributed to the wish and will of God. So, in summary, the Devil does not kill, in the sense of taking someone's life as we know it. |
The instructions are actually simple. If you have a problem, alert an examination supervisor, and not a fellow student taking same exams. Imagine if everyone was asking questions right and left rather than alerting the supervisor, the hall would be noisy. Mallam was wrong as well. He should have given her a stern warning or even asked her to leave the hall. |
FemiMaduka:Great, Bro. However, I believe AJ is good, but many of his fans blindly overrate him which is why they think he is unbeatable. AJ had glaring weaknesses. He had zero head movements, poor footwork, can't take a punch, and with a stamina that is suspect. Now that he has shed some bulk, and he is coming in lightest in his career, we will see how far he can move around. Even he himself said that he is still a work in progress and not a finished product. But people tend to think of him as some Lennox Lewis or Mike Tyson in their prime. AJ still has a lot to learn. I believe that he can get a win off Ruiz. We would see how far he has improved on the 8th of December. |
DexterousOne:Yes, the system is really an obstacle. The job I have now had a shortlist of a girl and me. I had lost hope because I felt that the girl (being a girl, beautiful and all) would get the job ahead of me. But I got the job. So, the system may be bad, but we should also do our part. Put our CVs in order, craft engaging application letters, do our bit of self-projection on social media, and everything within our powers. Connection or not, we should help ourselves as well. |
LOWLIFER:The match was not fixed. You people should give Ruiz the credit he deserves. Do you know that when Joshua knocked down Ruiz in the 3rd round, that was the first time Ruiz had been knocked down in his career? The fact is that he beat Joshua because Joshua underrated him, and also because Joshua had never fought anyone like Ruiz. Aside Whyte who gave Joshua some problem in their fight, Joshua is used to fighting guys who don't come forward to fight. Andy Ruiz always comes forward to fight. And Joshua had no solution to Ruiz's fast hands. Imagine being used to chasing people all over the ring, and then you meet someone who keeps coming forward rather than letting you chase them? That match was a wake-up call for Joshua and his management. Next time, they would never look past any opponent ever again in their lives. They were busy thinking about Wilder while Ruiz was training hard. Now, that he beat Joshua black and blue, you people are trying to take the credit away from the hardworking brawler. |
Kulas:Many people get jobs without knowing anyone. Someone like me. Even if you know people, you still need to do certain things to fulfil all righteousness. The OP has given wonderful advice. |
slimjosh231:You must know how to read and write to govern this country. You people should stop spreading this claim. Only ignorant people spread news that they haven't verified. Even our military leaders were/are literate. |
What was the need to tweet it? It is not like we talk naturally through tweets, so we can't say she couldn't help it. She must have exclaimed it in real life before tweeting which means she was in total control of her senses before tweeting. It was not something instinctual. Anyway, at least, she must know how the fans feel when she and the others in the Super Falcons play nonsense like blind people. |
owolabi5:The respected Barca but didn't fear them. |
She needs a private jet because she is who exactly ![]() What does she do for a living? |
sholay2011:Maybe I wrote too much and covered up the salient points. My point is that we tend to think highly of ourselves in a relationship and find all the faults for a struggling marriage with our partners alone. Sometimes, saving a marriage might not be as hard as we think if we try to be less of a blamer and examine ourselves too to see how we contribute to the mess. |
pappy2000:What do you mean the salary a little of 100k would not make you live your dream life? My brother, you don't have to start life big. All you need are plans. I am not saying you should not seek for better jobs, all I am saying is that the loan you took was very unnecessary to start with. Lack of patience is destroying you, my brother. You need to slow down. Don't join a business simply because others are doing it and seem to be making it. Join for a better reason after comprehensive plans. In my opinion, the court wedding is OK for now. You don't have enough resources, so don't force it. Remember that there is life after wedding. Moreover, you are both expecting a child. Childcare and the initial healthcare will further take a toll on you. As for your wife's incessant nagging and misbehavior, she is pregnant and she would be having a lot of mood swings. You are one of her caregivers and you can't afford to get worked up over her mood swings. Pregnancy itself is stressful, so you have to bear with her. I hate nagging myself, and it can really push anyone to the wall. But your wife is pregnant, and you have no choice but to take all the nagging like a dunce. |
Abdulmajee:I am humbled by your words, bro. Thank you. And you are most welcome. |
OloladeWrites:God bless you, my brother. |
I wish this was a premier league match so that Liverpool would not have much to worry about when they cross paths with Man City next week. |
darealbabe:You are wrong. Anyone can be helped. No one has life figured out. The difference is that some of us have realistic dreams. Misplaced priorities happen to the best of us. |
Uchechi20:You have enumerated your husband's bad qualities. And, frankly, they are indeed bad qualities. Insensitive is an understatement. However, you can't tell me that you are a saint yourself. Many women have this misconception about what makes a man happy. They feel like all it takes to be a good wife is to be a good cook, do his laundry, give him sex whenever he wants it, and support him financially when necessary. They forget healthy communication. Some women claim they support their men financially, but the things those men hear and see from receiving financial support from their wives can make a man commit suicide. You say he is not doing anything about the torn net? Who told you he is not doing anything? It may appear to you like he is not doing anything but it doesn't mean he is not doing anything. Imagine your husband getting stressed up about the torn net, and the next thing he hears from you is that "you are not doing anything about the net". Many times, we find faults in our partners and consider ourselves the perfect one in the relationship. Your husband might be insensitive not necessarily out of his own desire, but forces beyond his control. The window he left open might have even been done absent-mindedly. I have seen a man drive to a petrol station and leave on foot. People had to call him back. The man was so deep in thoughts that he forgot that he drove into the station. Your husband might have been absent-minded. But because you have preconditioned your mind about him, you concluded that he is insensitive. Are you 100% sure that you have not been insensitive to his plights too? The way you describe his dreams of becoming rich one day shows that you don't care about his dreams. You just want him to bring that money home. You have come to see his dreams as nothing but fantasies and have come to detest him sharing his dreams with you. I am not making excuses for your husband. I am just trying to encourage you to search yourself as well. In what tone do you speak to your husband on sensitive issues such as money? Some women use gentle tones, but the rudeness is always unmistakable. When he talks about getting rich one day, do you hiss or deliberately pretend not to hear? Do you give him the impression that you have lost all hopes in him ever becoming successful? |
SirVintageCock:Big bush can mean forest ![]() So, don't be so sure. |
SyrusdeHansome:You are very unintelligent. |
BRATISLAVA:Technically, it has been forced down your throat. There is absolutely nothing anyone can do about it, except go violent. And should the law catch you, you go hear am!!! There are so many laws we may not like but which we have to tolerate because it is the law of the land. For me, I don't like full-time senatorial job nor do I like bicameralism. Does it mean because I don't like bicameralism, I can go to the House of Representatives building and destroy it? No. If I do, I will be in trouble because I have broken the law. So, you see, the law forces a lot of things down our throats, and there is absolutely nothing we can do about it without getting into serious trouble with the law. |
One thing with people is that once they love you, they will always make excuses for you. Imagine if it were Buhari that appointed Aisha to a role she is qualified for, they would scream blue murder and accuse him of nepotism. Even for relatives who were appointed to certain roles, people accused Buhari of nepotism. But since it is the Seyi that they like, they are making excuses. Everyone has suddenly forgotten how they accuse Buhari of giving positions to his relatives. Relatives, not even wife. Till date, they still chide Aregbesola for awarding contracts to his son who deals in such issue. But in the case of Seyi Makinde, they are ready to forget the nepotism game. So, before you call Buhari lovers zombies, evaluate your own loyalty too to someone you admire. If you make excuses for Makinde's nepotism, then don't call people zombies for defending Buhari. |
BRATISLAVA:What is your point exactly. Gay relationship is legalized in South Africa. It means gay people have rights to have their relationships. So, even if you don't like them, you cannot go violent on them based on their sexuality because the law recognizes their sexuality. Once something is legalized, you are expected to respect it. Beating up gay people in a country where homosexuality is legal is tantamount to breaking a law of the land. Even if homosexuality is illegal, no one has the right to take the law into their hands. |
