Letter alone would suffice, but if you can get payslips with ease, you can add them. Not compulsory tho...

Please house, am I supposed to show just a letter from my previous employer or does include payslip? I'm not currently employed but have previous experience.

The required documents are on their website... So are all other info you might need.

The best advice i think it to study extremely well and re-write IELTS... It would really help. Ditch your agent f possible... You do not need one.

Hello House, I must commend everyone on this forum. good job so far. congrats to everyone that has received ITA. So I need your advice, I already paid an agent prior to finding this forum and I am so pained... so I have written IELTS twice, the first was L-6.5 W-7 S-7 R-6.5 and gave me a CRS score of 362 and the second was L-8 S-7.5 W-6.5 R-6 which gave me 373. I was really upset because I prepared unlike the first one that i didnt. I thought of asking for a remark for the writing but then again, the reading is absolute and wont get me to 400. please what do you advise I do house? Also, my agent told me to apply for jobs that asides provinces, that's the only option we have except i re-write ielts and I do not have that extra cash. he said no province is opened at the moment. I am 27, single, with 5 years work experience, my NOC is in HR and Banking but I am using the 6235 to apply. Please does anyone know anybody that got this PR from getting a job whilst in Nigeria because all the ones I have seen, the caveat is to be in Canada already. Also, my POF is not complete yet, but would be by march. All advise is welcome. Thank you in advance and sorry for the long read.

Usually between 3 -5 days... In rare cases, same day.

I think you should do it still... You have nothing to lose. From the trend, Ontario picks fresh profiles... Someone that created just before they opened had to create a new one to get NOI. Give it a shot!

You have to write the General Training exam and then choose Immigration for the purpose...

Ontario is a possibility. I will advise you withdraw your profile and create a new one... OINP NOI should come thru shortly after... Wait it out while your ECAs come thru, cos should get ITA with that. In the process, put all your OINP docs together and wait till the last day of expiry...

Praying your ECA comes thru before the next draw... Amen!

Ideally, ur highest qualification is enough. However, If you can get ur first degree easily then do both as it doesn't cost extra. Most ppl did first degree here in Naija n getting transcript sent to WES from some Naija schools is harder than Arsenal winning the league so they just do their MSc.

Master's alone if ok... except BSc can be done easily. But if it's a Nigerian school, I will advise you do just your MSc... It won't pose any problems.

You can update your profile since it's still active. Once you get ITA, most probably in the next draw, The expiry date wouldn't matter...

Yes, as long as the principal applicant gets enough score for ITA... I didn't do any evaluation. I didn't have to write IETLS, tho I did.

Not a problem... Yes you should. Your age is good... If you can score 8.5,8.7.5,7.5 LSWR in your IELTS, you will get a score of 439 which will get you an ITA based on the last draw of 434...

SO get on it asap, so you can get into the pool soon enough!

Hope there's good progress with IQAS cos you should get an ITA worthy score after you add both your masters' evaluations. I believe your story will change before the next draw.

You really can get ITA without him involved... If your age is within reasonable range and you do very well in your IELTS, you can get ITA without him getting ECA nor writing IELTS.

However, you will need to convince him to get his medicals done and also PCC... He can get his PR card and decide to travel much later when he feels he's ready. It's not mandatory to migrate immediately.

I am married with 2kids, got a master's degree from U.K. & about to register to write IELTS, however my spouse who has a good job here in Naija isn't wiling to be part of this application process as he isn't ready to migrate yet. My question is; it possible to get an ITA without him involved? Will I need any of his documents during this process? Meanwhile I have 5 years of previous work experience but not currently employed. What are my chances please? I will appreciate all your inputs.

Be patient... there might be another draw next week, otherwise, ITA will come all the same.

congrats to the ITA collectors, seriously hoping for mine. @dupsyshoo,@boldinc @vcole and everybody, I got a mail from IELTS saying they have remarked and increased my band score last week friday but I cant pick my TRF till tomorrow, am soo pained. They didn't even indicate what they scored me and I have no idea how to check so I have to wait. Imagine if they told me what I scored I for just update my mark and reach 472 from 415, I for just collect ITA too yesterday, but God dey sha, I gallantly wait for my ITA in next draw by God's grace. keep the fire burning guys, and you all are doing great with all the wealth of information on here.

If you both max out in the IELTS exam, your wife should be the PA cos of her age (extra 5 points)...

However, I would advice you both write IELTS first and then decide later.

Based on what i have read so far, I realise that IELTS is one of the major hurdles (if not the main sef) to scale through if one want to get high score so as to enter the pool and get ITA asap.

What materials can help in getting good score in IELTS and what should we aim for.

Your IELTS score is not bad at all... Did your spouse also write IELTS? Did you evaluate your spouse's degree? What's your age? If your spouse is younger, you will have a better chance if he/she is the principal applicant. I do not see why you should not get ITA...
