very nice. A glimpse of hope at least |
ROSSIKE: Nobody predicted anything about Nigeria 50 years ago. And certainly not based on any economic growth figures or indices, which were appalling at the time to say the least.Nigeria was actually predicted to be world power. The guy is actually right. Nigeria can actually become world power in 10 years if only we get our values right and stop this nonsense called Ethnicity. |
ha I dont know if this is a good idea, because nigeria population will reduce to half the first month is it implemented |
HisRib: As I emntioned earlier -- if the man can't afford it -- that's totally understandable. No you said save for it. When a man saves for something , he cannot afford it. And you said 3 month salary. |
HisRib: 3 months salary for the woman you love is a piece of cake. That's how I see it.This is so selfish. Would you do the same? |
The OP is sick |
Urine: Nigerians and drama! You all hide behind your computer screens feeling like e-governors. Argue from today till tomorrow the deed has been done, if you feel strongly about this issue or you think it's an act of injustice then go to the court like Mr.Morka. It's simple, the court is the only place this action can be judged as right or wrong.Thank you my brother. So many ranting |
hollandis: I am just waiting for seun to ban me .This website is full of lies .I hate it.It is a political strategyPlease you are becoming a nuisance. You can leave the forum and never return. The mods do not need your rant. |
hollandis: I dont need any facts put together. Why is fasholas post a stickie? TELL THE USELESS ,MODAFUCKING MOD TO PULL IT DOWNHow old are you? |
How much do you make in Nigeria and do you pay your taxes ![]() I don't have a problem with Indians living in Nigeria, put I'm tired of seeing people of lighter shades getting a pass in that country because of the colour of their skin... The Lebanese people stay making billions from that country without giving anything back - and the Europeans have been doing that since time immemorial...
Oga India please I am not stereotyping but at this point I have to agree to this. Indians in Nigeria do not pay taxes, they are always making loss for 20 years they keep making loss. Why not close down operations. No they prefer to pay little or no tax at all. Also, we hear of the inhumane treatment perpetrated by Indians and Lebanese on their Nigerian employees. You might be different but these things occur. |
I hear the residency status will commence by April in Lagos. A welcome development. A city must grow, it is either growing or dying. Lagos was dying for a long time and now it intends to grow. People can we give change a chance. |
Who are you and what is your issue with fashola? I just read your post on bad people in Nigeria. Honestly, you need to do some self reconciliation. |
First and foremost, it is so sad to read this poorly constructed thread. Secondly, you do not generalize on the mental situation of people. Nobody would ever reason the way you do, yes they may compromise but they will never reason logically like you. Third, show some respect to your leaders - they are humans and prone to errors. If you disagree with any of their policies, there are many ways to readdress such policies. Lastly, it is unladylike to use the f-word and so include you to the mentality structure you were trying to illustrate. |
Is old age affecting Baba? Is he trying to reconcile with his heart? |
Abia needs to be thinking of infrastructural development and not witch-hunting. |
babapupa: There are tons of illegal slums in Lagos state with hundreds of thousands of people if not millions so where is the compensation money for illegal settlement evacuees going to come from and do we have to keep setting money aside to settle the thousands trooping into Lagos endlessly to take their place?I did not want to comment initially due to the sensitivity of the issue. However, thank you for pointing this out. If a city must grow, sacrifices must be made. I hope in 60 years we would be proud of what Lagos turns out to be. |
This song is really inspiring and gives hope to believe in this entity called Nigeria, even in the midst of commotion, poverty and insecurity. I believe we need more of this song to draw us back to the very basis of our existence. Nigeria is our country, Nigeria is our home. Our diversity is a blessing and not a curse. God save Nigeria. |
you are yet to tell us the area |
how much |
are you for real. this looks like scam to me |
Seun: Did the solution on the first post on this thread fail to work for you?No. I have to abandon my ipad to make use of my laptop. it is so sad |
Sincere 9gerian: Progress, progress everywhere. Nigeria is marching forward. The few but noisy ENEMIES of progress should either join the moving train or they'll soon be crushed.Road repairs is progress? Na wa oh. |
The first day I went to ladipo was my last day. I swore never to go to that place. The area is a huge mess, the miscreants exceeds the genuine traders. I do not believe they make up to 100billions and I hope fashola is listening so that he can tax better. That place requires sanity. I mean proper sanity. Good move by the Lagos state government. |
RICHIE BOI: i had this same problem on my ipad using Etisalat with google chrome and safari, but now its ok. tnkswhat did you do? |
Please how can I resolve this problem it is so frustrating. Anyone with help. |
I noticed for two days now that I cannot access nairaland and google homepage via my iPad. I believe it has been hacked because a page titled hobatoba pops up and redirect itself to naij.com. My colleague is also experiencing the same issue too. However, I can access nairaland via desktop and laptop commuting device. Please can anyone assist me. PS: I know this is the politics section but I was unable to locate the computing section due to this problem. Thanks |

This ethnic issue is just getting so irritating. This needs to be addressed because so many people are playing cheap politics with it. |
What area is this |
How much |
Lucky for you carmelion. You need to see how ladies fall for these cheap popular scam in Lagos. Pastors now even connive with members in search of a life partner. They will accost a lady and tell the lady that bro A or B is their husband backing it up with vision (only God knows what kind of vision). Some ladies even go as far as abandoning their current relationship all in he name of a man who claims to be a MOG. It is a serious issue and has been debated on radio by popular radio personalities. Sometimes I pity the vulnerability of women to these scams. |
