Kai I have been reading this stuff since 2:00pm from the issue with sienna and inspired. The woman is a professional and has graduated from the university of scamming. There was someone who said he could go to her house. Please do and let the police arrest her. I want to see pictures of her in orange uniform in jail. This has taught me a lesson and I even wanted to buy a car by June using the auto section on nairaland. I no do again. Abeg I go enter begger under bridge and point the very vehicle l need, pay cash and drive home in peace. |
I believe this issue of promotion going on in the Nigerian Army is a disgrace to the Army. The army is a respected institution and its modus operandi is not for the knowledge of civilians. Those perpetrating these actions should be edge out of the army. They are not worthy to be officers and defenders of our country sovereignty. They are heating up the polity and making a nuisance of themselves based on selfish grounds. |
jidegirl12: Another handle attack? Okay now. Respect on NL? what do I care...do I know you?You don't need to know me. Now that's the difference. I must not be in your face before you show some respect. You respect because you are cultured and not because you want people to think you are nice. You respect because you consider the emotions of other people and because they are human. You show respect because once you do, the other person respects you likewise. Last and most important, you respect because you are a woman and women who respect themselves will not come to the market and start to dance naked. The words you say depicts your personality. Choose your words carefully and cautiously. |
onila: i dont respect worthless bit..chesWhat is worthless? A human being like yourself - worthless? Is that how you see people now? A shame, a huge shame. Young girl, your attitude is rubbish. FYI I am a man and your attitude stinks. |
onila: Bleep off, dirty who..reYou are a woman you should act decently and stop the cursing. Women with class do not engage in such activity. It is a shame you were born in UK and you don't know this. |
onila: i was born in the UK...BUSH ratNow your comment shows how low life you are. Do you know that a baby was just born in the UK? |
jidegirl12:If you got so much class why you running your mouth, cussing and sweating like my dog. Please, a lady with class knows how to respect herself. |
onila: i had my first boyfriend when I was just 4 years oldThis gal lies dey itch my ears |
Hmmm at poster. I read the comments here and shake my head. First and foremost, when a man urinates, his pants get stained. Even if your husband is cheating on you, what you just did hurts. Please and please this is your marriage. Do not allow the comments here destroy your marriage. Just pray for guidance. Honestly, if a woman do what you did to me, marriage is over. Even if the marriage won't end, it will never be the same again. Be careful, be very careful. |
Charliemorgano: On a personal note...i will advise guys to be a bit stable financially before marriage..the greatest frustration one gets as a married man is lack of finance to solve some problems as a husband...A lady will appreciate you more if you play your role as a man in her life.True words. |
I can see that this thread is up again. Very nice thread. |
This is a stupid post. Those in support do not have business and know much about the Nigerian business environment. The poster should go to CAC and get his data right. |
Hi Benodic once I register, I am automatically a member and I start to receive all the benefits enlisted above by you? |
bukatyne: Bukata ke? I am a woman of Timber and Caliber! We hear you typical Nigerian woman. |
Joy2Dwise: Aside yearly housing and medical allowance. I married 3 years back when I was earning a total monthly package of 67k. Was living in 3 bedroom flat then but have to move a a 2 Bdrm apartment after marriage, though my yearly housing allowance is two times what I spend in rent for a year. Had no car then because I lost the one I had to a ghastly accident. My wife is not a spendthrift so we manged not to live above our income.I don't believe this story. Please forgive me. |
JallowBah: ...why would I talk to him like that? I am a grown woman, I can stand up for the choices I make in life.It is your choice. Afterall the most potent weapon of a woman is her tongue. However, let a man be a man. Do not dictate for him. Even if he pleases you now, in the future he will despise you. |
African men abeg don't fall for this gimmicks. This is not us. Our women have watched too much Kim kardarhian, and it is disturbing their brains. As a matter of fact, I want that program banned on tv. These days the things I hear from Africa women baffles me and scares the damn out of me. 21st century African women are nothing to write home about. Our mothers are better than our wives (well I am not married dont know if I will) and what will our daughter be? If women would build our society begin to act like Kim kardarhian. Jesus we need your help. |
JallowBah: I would rather have my husband more at home and have less money, than him working his a*s off and not having much time with his family. So that later you can call him a useless man, your mates are making money and you are here siting down with me. Abeg be a honest woman and stop this nonsense forming naija woman dey do these days. We men know una. |
zglobalsimcard: You need to check this outThis is fraudulent please. Why would someone receive and make calls using a US number when he is in Nigeria. Please take it off. |
Paentera: You shall be honoured amongst women! Thanks but I Am a man |
Where is the poster lets us teach her African culture and heritage. She is a disgrace to our society. You do not insult people's mom, you do not insult men, while for fact you have a husband only bush people do. You are a disgrace to African womanhood, a disgrace to our society, a disgrace to your supposedly husband. You think because this is an online forum, you can make derogatory statements and feel good about yourself. You belong to the bush, you are not a modern woman, the bush where there is no values and respect is where your kind belongs. I want you to confront me. Bush woman |
bukatyne: Boss, you are definately mistaking me for someone else.Oh sorry about that I thought you were the poster. She is very annoying. We are not white people so we should stop pretending to be and respect our culture and heritage. An African man never does chores. If a 21st century man decides to do, the wife should consider it a blessing and not a duty. African women stop sending out the wrong message. |
Chrisjane: poor mentalityNot poor mentality, he was saying the truth. Many women in naija pretend a lot. They want to appear the best but all they say only happens in their dreams. They push their friends to the limit, create wahala. Yet they stick to the bullshit they have. Truly unfair of the poster. She raised a very sensitive topic that may begin to influence women and put homes, especially young ones, in jeopardy and then begin to say every home is different, what works for one might not be the same for the other. To me I believe it is an insult to the intellects here and frequent visitors. If she was seeking attention or trying to create a thread for the first time, only God knows. She also went as far as insulting the men here, stereotyping an ethnic group and so many men began to label her as a bad wife. A woman who forgets she has a home/husband and open her mouths to begin to say rubbish and insult other men is less of a woman and should return to the bush. These women have lost their values and before they corrupt others, they should go back to the bush. For me I think the poster is bad for our society. To stereotype an ethnic group is sick to me and if I know you as a person, I will avoid you like a disease. |
bukatyne: Sweetheart, I wouldn't bash you but the bolded is wrong. Everyone have their preference but a wife who does those things is not a slave or a maid. You started it. Now I don't believe you. If we come to your house, maybe the reverse of what you telling us might be playing out in your house. You are yet to apologize to the men on this thread for the derogatory statements you made. |
bukatyne: Boss, I talking of the real world. And no, I am not married, I am engaged. Do you know what bonding means? The only bond I know is hydrocarbon bond in chemistry. If you mean husband and wife bond in marriage - hell no. It is called understanding. Knowing your partner. Tolerating your partner and forgiving your partner's mistake. Me, I no know wet in be bonding - sorry oh. Good to know you are engaged, be good to your future husband, many men are scared to marry. Our women are turning into monsters |
For those bragging women who claim their husbands help out with chores, lets do a test (well this will be my last response for now, I am in a training session). When next your man is doing home chores, go to him and tell him - baby don't worry, I will handle it. Go and watch tv. If he insist on still doing it (he is doing it for love). If he abandons the chores for tv I guess you know the answer. But you have to promise that there will be no consequences. Go and test your hubands, tomorrow is weekend. You can come back and tell us (be honest) because I will ask specific questions. |
bukatyne: Boss, Some couples have bonded so well that the man/woman doesn't need to tell the other what to do. They see their partner working/spending and automatically know when to come in.Abeg stop the hypothesis, we live in the real world. Many men in marriages tolerate their wives because they don't want to create an issue. An angry woman is a dangerous woman. A man who wants a happy home knows that and will want to maintain peace in the home and not about bonding. Come and hear what married men say to their friends even your own husband, if you are part of the women pretending to be married. |
One thing I understand from this thread is that all the married women who pretend to be married are all blessed with wonderful husbands. Hmmm I thank God for them and I pray it continues like that throughout the marriage. Women please know that men are ego-centric. Women should study the behavior of a male lion - never does anything but sleeps. Yet he commands the respect of the pride and the lioness never disrespects him. Women nothing is more insulting than when you tell your man that this is 21st century (to either backup an action or an argument). |
A man dat truely luv his wife wud definately nt just sit & watch her do all house chores. U sound as if its a right, if he doesnt do it, he is in 4 it
Thanks Geebee, that's what is annoying the men on the forum. |
lindiwey: Na wa for dese men in dis forum..tnk God for my husband he is nt d kind of man dt sees anytn wrong in helpn out..he dosnt knw how to cook cos of his upbringn but wen it comes to cleaning d house, washn our sons clothes, feedn n bathing him he is ever ready to help out infact its division of labor in ma house and we r very happy,we gist yle doin our chores.and I respct him a lot.dts y am seriously lookn for a job so dt we cn share d financial burden..Linda, many married men on nairaland help their wives out domestically but they just don't come to nairaland and brag about it. I am not married, but if my wife ask me or even insist I do it I will never. However, if she jokingly tells me. I will definitely support her. There is a huge difference. The difference is - how to talk to your man. I assist some of my girlfriends wash my clothes when they are washing it. I don't assist with cooking, cos I don't know how to cook but I might be in the kitchen cracking some jokes to relieve stress or holding the paste tomatoes. |
At busola, first and foremost I do not understand why you posted this comment. I was of the impression that your husband never assists you with chores. Yet again you bragged about how he does whatever you want and how appreciative you are to him for doing whatever you want. Honestly, please note that I am trying as hard not to be insulting, you sound rude. I can guess you are at the early stage of marriage. Please note that men at some point will stop tolerating some craps. I don't know how you run your home or marriage but I do know that a well brought up woman never insults a man (whether online or physically) because she is of class and the same goes to a well brought up man. But when a woman begins to drag domestic issues with men, all they will label you with is BAD WIFE. Please don't quote me, I am trying to picture you and honestly I won't marry your type based on the comments you have made on this thread. I might be wrong, I might not be wrong but it is all about perception and from your comment, you portray yourself as a bully. It so sweet when men of all type and class respect a woman when she talks. |
touchmeder: We both work but i run the house generallyA matured woman. |
