Politics › Re: Cleric Attacks El-Rufai For Jesus Joke On Twitter by Boss13: 10:38am On Jan 28, 2013
I don't see anything wrong with the tweet. It is just trying to describe how maku and co waste no time to accuse anybody who confronts Jonathan. Well it is left for the public to find out if Jesus actually slept with magdalene. However elrufai should have expressed caution retweet that because of his religious inclination.
Politics › Re: Ifeanyi Ubah's Revelations Leads To Sacking Of Maduaka From Access Bank Board by Boss13: 10:26am On Jan 28, 2013
akpomeme: I hope this is the first step In prosecuting this criminal who wanted to steal a hard working man's business. They in the banking sector all do these things. CBN should look beyond access bank. I hope Aig follows too. Arrogant bastards.
Calling Aig arrogant is unfair. However, removing Maduka from the board and not the entire board is partial because the board credit committee signed the loan. However, the padi padi Aig shared with Sanusi is beyond BOFIA Acts
Politics › Re: FG Earned N5 Trillion From Taxes In 2012 – FIRS by Boss13: 10:10am On Jan 28, 2013
J12: Too meager for a country like Nigeria.
It is a improvement. It shows someone is working. With time it will get better. The problem is what will the money be use for. I know too much money creates problems for nigeria
Politics › Re: FG Earned N5 Trillion From Taxes In 2012 – FIRS by Boss13: 10:08am On Jan 28, 2013
HNosegbe: My comments:

1. N5trillion is about $33billion, about 8% of the value of Apple. It's chicken change, really, for a country of 160-odd million people.

2. There is need for the Federal Government to explain to us the rationale for further borrowing when its revenue targets are being exceeded.

3. If the FG can raise such monies from taxes, what are the states doing?

4. The government should extend the tax net to cover "luxury" items such as private jets, yachts, mansions and other items of ostentation purchased by the elites. There's no reason we shouldn't slam a 40% tax rate on private jet purchases by our politicians, businessmen and pastors, for instance.

5. Specific proportions of these funds should be set aside for infrastructure and savings for the future. I expect such excess revenues to be transferred to the Sovereign Wealth Fund to ensure that something is left for our children.
Thank you my brother. We need explanation on how these tax revenues would be utilized. Some economies in the world survive only with taxes. Nigeria can do better, we just have porous tax system. God has blessed this country. I strongly believe if we have a good structured government we can grow at a rate that will baffle the world in just 5 years.
Politics › Re: FG Earned N5 Trillion From Taxes In 2012 – FIRS by Boss13: 10:04am On Jan 28, 2013
Lankaline: How does this one concern me!!,,?
It should concern you because taxes are a source of revenue for government. If our country is earning money from taxes and oil. It means more source of income and more money. More money should translate to more provision of social infrastructure and basis amenities. More social infrastructures would give rise to increased economic growth and better living for Nigerians. Also, we will could get our real sectors to be productive - that's is multiple incomes and more money at the disposal of government to provide the basic needs of nigeria. However, if these monies are stolen, it would only enrich the thief and the cycle is broken. I hope you understand now.
Politics › Re: $67 Billion Controversy : Ezekwesili Challenges Maku To Public Debate by Boss13: 9:56am On Jan 28, 2013
Please oh nothing but accountability and transparency. I support oby's move. A public debate is required. Maku can you defend your boss? Jonathan is a hypocrite in trying to deceive us about fighting corruption. We need accountability. We need to also know why some government projects are taking a while before being implemented.
Politics › Re: Jonathan Is Not A Reckless Spender - FG by Boss13: 9:52am On Jan 28, 2013
I won't bother myself to read the epistle of a liar. Just explain how the money was spent. We do not need counter accusation.
Politics › Re: UK Prime Minister, Cameron Lambasts Jonathan For Misusing $100 Billion Oil Money by Boss13: 9:36am On Jan 28, 2013
PointB: My thoughts exactly.

Nigeria is a sovereign (suffering) entity; suffering yet sovereign. It owns UK no explanation, and does not render public account to the UK, just as the UK does . It is only accountable to it people and governmental structures.

I think Cameron over-reached here. He should pay more attention to the UK economy and their financials.

By the way, wasn't UK a world and economic super power not to long ago? Which of their clueless minister took eyes of the ball? What are they doing about it?
Who are you? Are you nuts? Are you part of Jonathan's boys. I totally support Cameron call for transparency. The level of poverty in the world today is a shame to global economy. Richer nations give aids to poorer nations, rather than this aids, they should push hard for transparency, accountability and structured government. Government of poorer countries should be made to publicly publish statement of accounts and how resources were distributed on a quarterly basis. The salaries of public holders should be throw open for the public to see. Transparency in government can actually expose countries, like nigeria, who have no business to be poor. In crude oil theft, there is a seller and a buyer, while the international community track down buyers, nigeria on its part should crack down the sellers. When international leaders mount pressures on countries, especially African countries, the wealth can be properly distributed and the issue of abandoning the country will greatly reduced. Hence, richer countries will not need to spend some much revamping immigration issues. That money can be channeled for productive activities.

I know some countries wish nigeria to break up because they envy the wealth. I know some countries want corruption to persist because they profit from it. I also know if nigeria was an European country, the crap we witness here would have far long been gone. We need help, we truly need help. God save Nigeria.
Romance › Re: Why Can't I Find Som1 Who's Interested In Relationship Not Marriage by Boss13: 1:28pm On Jan 27, 2013
fubbyy: You are right but I have seen people dating just for dating sake, why can't I find people like that? Relationship must not lead to marriage, and I have this bad luck of meeting women that has experienced heartbreak before, whenever it gets to my turn every1 sits up

Am not planning to play any1 nor break any1's heart,am only scared of lying to any woman that I will marry her when I know its not gonna happen, I have conscience
You are a good man that's what they (gals) don't get. Women don't like honesty. I'm afraid you will have to lie a little bit so that you won't keep changing gals all the time.
u seem to be enjoying it, I don't see why u are complaining about her ...u like showing off, she likes money...its a win win situation smiley neither of u is serious about the other
Mondi you funny grin I just need to hang out and I don't want to go alone to the country club (Ikoyi club). Well she is not the boring type. Champagne in her blood stream makes her naughty and she is a luvly dancer , adorable to watch and makes the men around wish she was with them but she is with me (laughs). Hmm she is a typical naija materialistic babe so it won't last (too bad for her) and maybe she would have told her friends that she has caught a Mugu.

I might have to go look for tools that exposes pretenders. In case champagne doesn't work. Naija gals can drink these days (Kai). The same lady on thursday wants to hang out again. She likes the champagne and the food. After the nonsense she told me. Well I would spoil her a little and watch her enjoy herself. Maybe she might teach me how to catch pretentious naija babe like herself and how to get good ones. I won't sleep with her. The nonsense she said is scaring the day light out of me. Her saving grace for a 2nd date is because she is beautiful. She is like a trophy, a show off. All eyes on you when you enter.

Baby mama: He doesn't want her
The woman used him to up her ratings, how wicked can someone be
He wants the marriage annulled and doesn't want a divorce record and I like his tenacity .
He was a fool. Now he knows better. I pity the people who watch that show. Everything is staged and so fake. They care about the ratings and the money. Now she is hanging around Kanye and enjoying herself. Chris is bitter for being part of the fraud. He should have know better.
Well I'm sure if u make her understand wat u want in a woman right from the start u won't end up wit some girl trying to move into ur apartment by force lol... I don't believe ALL nigerian women are like that, I'm sure u will find the right one if u keep searching in the right places smiley
They are like that. the good ones are not of this generation. I have searched - from church, clubs, schools, offices, restaurant, bus stops, wedding, social gathering, even overseas training, and even in Dubai (abeg mek i no yarn this one). They just have the same mentality. A Nigerian woman will only change if and when she wants to. Probably, her parents are on her case to get married or she is fed up with the materialistic ambition (which possibly leads them to no where, because men will keep tossing them like basketball). Good girls are turning into monsters. First they blamed the men they dated in the past, now it is about what they can gain from the men they are dating. When a woman add little or nothing to my life, rather she is part of my expense line, I am going to change her like a piece of old cloth i am tired of wearing. Well I do pray to see a sensible one. I recently had a chat with a naija born chick but raised in Dublin and the difference is just so clear, she was on point with the mentality but off point with the body structure (she is a plus size sad)
Politics › Re: Cellphones To Farmers: It’s A Misplaced Priority – Farmers by Boss13: 7:40am On Jan 26, 2013
The phone policy is a wicked one. Another waste from the government. If the government wants farmer to get phones. They can pass a directive and instruct them all to get phones before a certain deadline if the farmers intend to enjoy certain benefits. A database can be made and as each farmer purchase their phones, they can send their number across for collation. That money would be put into the wrong use, someone came up with the policy/idea in order to make extra buck. Ha nigeria there is no hope for us. We are bleeding ourselves dry. Selfish policies are made for selfish purpose. God save Nigeria.
what do u desire in a woman first of all?
true feminism. Just b a woman and not what your tv or friends tell you to be. Be emotional, be sweet enjoy sex and don't act like you are doing me a Favour. Cook for me because you feel I enjoy your cooking not because you want to keep my change or you are scheming to move into my apartment. Make your own hair and don't ask me for the money I will never appreciate such hair because I feel a woman should be able to take care of herself and not depend on a man to make a common hair (just so ridiculous) and you would appear cheap. Be honest, if you dont know stuff don't act like you know (open up) and don't be a plastic girl (like the pretty one who embarrassed me). Be innovative and creative. I dont have to always plan everything, else you would appear boring. Just a few
