Politics › Re: Petitions At National Assembly Over Army Promotions by Boss13: 10:31am On Feb 02, 2013
checklots: It is unfortunate that we run our country this way. Ihejirika did not start it. It has been like this for ages. This unfortunate trend must be checked as it is against the spirit One Nation. Tribalism is killing this country. This happens in our agencies and parastatals. All the geo-political zones in this country are guilty of this. It is all about my people and my people. A friend narrated how her organisation (public organisation) management changed policies to favour staff from the Chairman and DG or MD region (both from the same region). All these they did to ensure that staff from other regions were not given grade levels above their people level. They terminated the recognision of professional qualifications e.g ICAN because their people are not likely to have the qualification. This is rather unfortunate!May God help us
True. If Nigeria needs prayers, it is against tribalism. Our government is not doing anything about it. Tribalism or ethnicity may eat us all. See the way the world is fighting against racism. Our leaders should first of all fight against tribalism and then corruption. I don't want to be identified by a tribe but I want to be identified by being a Nigerian. State of residence should be used rather than state of origin. Prison term should be administered to ethic bigots. This will stop the hatred. Tribalism is a disease.

The Army is a secret organization and its matter must be dealt with secretly. I wonder why it is washing its dirty clothes in public.
Celebrities › Re: Wizkid Breaking Out Of E.m.e,(see Pics) by Boss13: 10:14am On Feb 02, 2013
I see greed to this. Wiz kid should know that talent alone doesn't translate to success. Being in a music contract is like a job , with your record label your employer. A good example is 2face - ever humble, Kennis Music pushed him so hard to lime light and he never fought his superior. Now he is an international Afro pop star. I wish him the best but I doubt if he would ever make such good music that we all enjoyed from him. Same as 9ice, Ikechukwu e.t.c (fighting so hard for recognition after a breakup)

Ademola CAC No is not a security feature, nor quoting it is a threat to your business. It gives your customers business confidence. They can actually ask the CAC about your company and the commission will be willing to assist. Many limited liability company quote their CAC No because they want to boost customer confidence. I would love to deal with you. However, I need that CAC number. Cannot work with a hoax pls.

Romance › Re: Am I Over Reacting? by Boss13: 7:17am On Jan 30, 2013
The poster is not ready for marriage. She needs to be tolerant and self controlling. What's the bullshit about expressing your mind all the time. There are certain times you keep quiet, you don't have to open your mouth to tell the whole world about your opinion. I just think you are fighting a self esteem issue. FYI, marrying a Nigerian is hard work, it is even harder than your present job. I would advise you to reconsider your decision.

What's with Nigerian guys sef? Is it self esteem issues that makes you consider marrying a foreigner and you begin to beg her to accept your culture? Later in life you begin to complain. People should get their priority right from beginning. When someone is not like you, he/she is not like you. Don't change them.
Politics › Re: Innoson Vehicles Complains Of Low Govt Patronage! by Boss13: 6:58am On Jan 30, 2013
Does Innoson really need the government? You have to tell people about your product and how good your products are. I visited their website and it is rubbish, you cannot view the vehicles properly, you just see specification. No interior or exterior picture display of their vehicles, no price tag. It tells you how unserious the marketing department is. How about advertisement, how about dealership with distributors? They need to start with this and I bet his vehicles will be flooded in the street, if truly it is top range and cheap.
Politics › Re: Nigeria Spent N7bn On Mali Crisis - Jonathan by Boss13: 6:49am On Jan 30, 2013
Roland17: Is the war in Mali the utmost priority of Nigeria on a scale of preference? there are numerous issues that require attention of the federal government, but i guess the federal government spending a ridiculous 7 billion Naira and being a pretentious big brother serves our image better than rectifying the recurring issues

7 billion naira can help in the revamp of our power sector

7 billion naira can help renovate some Federal health institutions

7 billion naira can help reform, equip and properly compensate our police force, so as to face the enormous challenges of securing lives and properties of the average Nigerian

7 billion naira can renovate some federal educational institutions

The list is limitless..

Nigerians deserve better than this.
Quiet, the war against terrorism in Mali is very crucial to the survival of the Nigerian entity. If those terror group ain't squashed, our very own boko haram will get stronger and get support from them. The war is important not just to Nigeria alone but to the whole of west Africa
Politics › Re: Yakubu Yusuf Rearrested Over Police Pension Scheme by Boss13: 5:56pm On Jan 29, 2013
The judgement is an insult to Nigerians, a crime to the families affected, a slap to eradicating corruption and an incentive to steal more.

Seun: Leave Sweetlemon alone. She has the right to seek attention. It's not a crime, so comparing it with armed robbery is patently absurd. Most celebrity types have that quality. Most politicians have that quality. If you don't want to give her attention, then you should just Let her be.
Her attention seeking motives gives you more money abi grin

Sweetlemon: I feel good sha. I feel good because I have shared my happiness among others. Nothing feels better than sharing and there is no better revenge that loving your haters and critics.
I'm done with e-fights, so I'm sorry to disappoint those waiting for me to loose my temper here.
I'm consoled with the fact that there are still many right-thinking independent-minded free-thinking NLers here who can tell when there is a desperate, calculated attempt at painting a person black so I won't bother explaining myself to anyone anymore.
My ladies, keep being strong, you can make it and get a 1000 better that Naomi Campell's man! wink (and I'm not just talking about money o!) don't just dream it, act it! Believe that you deserve the best because it's only when you believe that you get it!
Love you all!
Thanks all and God bless you all!
Cheers!
It's good to see you are controlling your emotions. Stop referring to your heartthrob as a bed guy. It's insulting to me. But I do wish you good luck and prays he marries you as you dream all night.

Bros, honestly bi-sexuals are very complicated. They are exploring their options and are yet to understand their sexual inclination. You are just going to hurt yourself, else you are sexually curious like her. Probably add a few mix to the equation. But be sure that you ain't going to gain any meaningful or insightful relationship with bi-sexuals.

Sweetlemon: Lol!
And what other tangible reference do you want if not my own personal experience?
Hello?!
Like I said, it's only the wise ones among us will be able to see tha main gist of my post.
Cheers!
You see why I say you still have self esteem issues. First, learn how to communicate to people. A lot of posts on this thread are filled with criticism . It shows that you have been misconstrued.

Sweetlemon: And who says I amhuh Mehuh Wherehuh
Did you see where I wrote that my self esteem was once next to zerohuh That I know what pain looks and feels like?
Just concentrate on yourself. If you were having self esteem issues, bother us not (though I still believe you have self esteem issues). Concentrate on your circle of influence. If you think you are now a better person, learn to be a more better person.

lalaosky: you made your own spelling mistake...no one is above typing errors
Emphasize is a whole wide box from empathize. I am not after her mis-spelt word but - I think I am better feminist than the rest- attitude. She is yet to resolve her own issue and still at the mercy of a guy, she refers to as bed guy (a disgusting phrase to call someone you care about).
Nairaland General › Re: But Why Are Guys Like This?? by Boss13: 9:33pm On Jan 28, 2013
Sweetlemon: It was a typo. I make losts of them when I'm filled with emotion.
Thanks for pointing it out.
Concentrate on yourself and deal with your own personal issues. You are no better than other ladies (and that's the truth). Mistakes are pardonable, but your i think I know it all, won't be.
Nairaland General › Re: But Why Are Guys Like This?? by Boss13: 9:23pm On Jan 28, 2013
Sweetlemon: If you looked well, you ll see that I said that I once struggled with my self esteem. I'm not ashamed of coming out to say that my self esteem was once next to zero. I'm taking this risk because I truly want to help other ladies who are going through what I once went through.
I want them to see that I understand and emphasize with them. So it can encourage and motivate them.
Do you mean, empathize with them? Are you the next Dr. Phill or Oprah? You don't have the pedigree to advise ladies. You should deal with your own issues. A guy has been with you and never thought of you to be attractive enough. Giving you the excuse of buying a bed. i just think you are an attention seeker. You need to do something for us, save us your fairy tales and dream rhetoric but before you do, get you spelling right.
Romance › Re: Difficulty In Finding A Girlfriend. by Boss13: 9:12pm On Jan 28, 2013
2iceAsNice: I'm a guy who has a lot of female friends around, i make out with some of them, both unfortunately i don't find any of them so attractive to settle down with. i really want to love someone whom i can marry, but my problem is, I'm always finding it difficult to approach ladies whom i find attractive and talk to them, whether in the bus , eatery or on the way. please i really need your advice.
Just give it a go. You find her attractive, you could start by saying. I'm really shy but I just want to tell you that you have got great eyes. I know you hear that a lot and if you don't I'm lucky. If she smiles. It's your lucky day. If she frowns, bros say no further at least save your self esteemed before she kills the remaining. But the point is you have to try.

claremont: Someone opened a thread to give advice, she gets criticised; she opens one to ask for advice, she still gets criticised. This is pure and unadulterated "bad-belleism" at play if you ask me. I noticed that it is the same usual suspects seem to swarm around the OP's threads like bees to honey, they are obsessed and just can't help themselves.

@OP: Just keep your head up and do your thing.
Nope the thread was just so senseless.

Nope you don't. The city is little for the promiscuous activities going on there. So the news just get out. Wish you luck with your sexual activities. But you should know at some point you must logically express yourself.

Please tell your bed guy to go and buy a bed. It is long overdue.
Nairaland General › Re: But Why Are Guys Like This?? by Boss13: 8:53pm On Jan 28, 2013
Sweetlemon: Girls, women are also gulity of this but men are mostly fond of this.
They hardly realize and appreciate what they have till it's far out their reach!
You guys need to learn that no matter how much a woman/girl loves you, no matter how much dust she has been eating from the ground rolling on the ground because of you, one day and all of a sudden, she's gonna get up on her feet, dust up, look you straight in the eyes and say "no more!"
By then she would have found someone 10000000 times better than you and it will hit you like a bulldozer what you lost.
In fact if I didn't love my bed guy scatter, I wouldav been having second thoughts by now because of the way my exes are suddenly acting like they lost a treasure box and other guys popping up from no where and telling me they ve been admiring me for ages!
Mtcheeeeeeew!
Let this be a lesson for all of you here reading this. If you love a girl don't just tell her, SHOW her! LOVE her! Believe me, you don't wanna wait till you see some other man showing you how to treat your woman right.
As for the rest of us ladies, those of us still rolling on the floor for our men, it's time to get up, dust up, and show him what you ve got inside of you. Truth is he won't see it till you get up and look him in the eye!
Go girl! You are worth it!
You and this your bed guy. I just feel you are making up these stories. If they are actually true, you ain't the first person and won't be the last to be or find luv. Spare us please.

Politics › Re: Ribadu Asks 19 Northern Governors To Account For N8.3trillion Revenue by Boss13: 8:15pm On Jan 28, 2013
PointB: Now this is the hypocrisy I hate hearing. Why does he have to bring in Nzeogwu in a matter that is strictly directed at Northern Governors? Couldn't he make his comment without bringing in the man they so much detested in the North for trying sanitize the system.

Anyway, that's by the way. But I will not rush to praise Ribudu for this 'attack' cos I perceive another layer of hypocrisy in effort itself. As substantial period of the 1999 - 2010 period covering Ribadu's interest happened to be when he held sway as the Head of EFFC. His job then was to prevent the type of corruption he is pointing at. Or to detect and prosecute.

How well did Ribadu do his job within the period under review? And what took Ribadu so long to voice out?

I see 2015 written all over this outburst!
You are a very annoying person.

People who need to stop this Christianity craze. You are stronger than any pastor. You alone can solve your problem. Why are we this foolish. At OP if you like give him the money, it is your own business. Go and study about how the mind works and use it to solve all your problem.
Christianity Etc › Re: N100,000 For Deliverance Fee: Please Advice Us Urgently by Boss13: 7:59pm On Jan 28, 2013
Joagbaje: Why not get your own pastor to pray if you need a minister, but if you must get another man from another state to come with his so called team. You must bear responsibility for him and his crew. So you should organize a a vehicle for them and hotel to stay. And of course , give them a token of what you can afford. It is wrong for ministers to demand money for healing or for any ministerial work. But it's proper to give ministers money in appreciation but make sure the money cover their expenses and extra
