PS;- he’s already in the UK. He finished his masters February this year, so he’s not eligible for the 2years psw.
We’ve tried couple schools but they said it’s too late.

Please am a residence of Dubai Uae, With a valid working permit (Expiration Feb 2022) I work as a security officer with a British owned security company here in UAE... So many Fiance is having a fully funded Government sponsorship award, for her Masters degree in the U.K and am planning to come to Nigeria, in few weeks time, for us to get married legally, So I can apply as her dependent, Cos she'll be going for d January 2022 intake.. Please is there any chances of getting visa?? We've got all our old pictures together, even from way back our days in the High school...
Note : She included my name as her husband in documents submitted to get her CAS and For the Government sponsorship... Please make una give me answer to this oooooo

A colleague has similar issues. Her account name for instance is Olisa Tobechukwu while her passport name is Olisa Tobechukwu Arinze. I think it could be an issue.

Please @justwise and the gurus in the house, kindly help me here, submitted my passport and did biometrics on the 30th of august SUper priority, got an email 24 hours later that my submission isn’t straightforward. They mailed my sponsor for scholarship 1st of sept and the mailed was replied 2nd of sept, they are yet to make decision on my visa…. My school resumes 5th of sept, I don’t understand can someone enlighten me won’t this affect my school resumption and yet to recieve my visa. Please who has experience this and was the result positive ?

Thought you can switch once you have completed your academics and gotten a job offer from a sponsored employer.

E.g, Student A completed studies etc in September and can now work full time till visa expires in January, however he landed an HCA job willing to sponsor and is way cheaper for a family of 4 than PSW, won't this be possible?

Walk in For ikeja, we got there around 12 midnight , we organised ourselves and start sharing numbers around 2-3am, they started attending to those that have got appointments around 8am, later they started calling in those on the queue for walk in, we left around 11:30am in the morning.

In case of an error, inform the officials right there before you leave. They will tell you what to do.

If you submitted your passport during your appointment, then you should get your passport and the decision/bro letter

@Justwise and all, I got this email from Pretoria this morning kindly educate me on what could have gone wrong in my Application.

I applied alone on 24th August while my dependent were to do their Application much later. The reason was because my POF had matured but theirs was deposited later. My initial deposit was #12,000,008, then #8,987,000.

I would be grateful to hear others contribution.

From memory and other people's experienceon the other thread, I believe the normal naija licence allows you to drive in the UK and no need to obtain the special international licence

Thanks for ur response. But how can it be normal? They wrote ‘work restricted’ in my wife’s dependant visa. I taught is suppose to be unrestricted work so she can work without restrictions. Pls I need clarification from anyone Thank u.

have gotten my Visa as the principal applicant, and now my hubby and the kids wants to apply using hubby's bank statement.
But the issue is that my husband has four names (eg, okeke ugonna Williams ugo) in his passport, but his bank statement bears only 3 (okeke ugonna Williams) out of the 4 names.
Would it be a problem if he presents the statement showing only 3 names out of his 4 names?

I have a concern and I hope somehow someone here will be able to help me.

Sometimes between 2006 and 2008 (I can't remember the actual year though I'm thinking it was 2008), I asked an agent to make a visit visa application for me (I can't say if he did or not) - my memory of everything is hazy. In my mind, it seems I was at the embassy for biometric (I don't know if they have started biometric capturing at the time and if an applicant would appear for interview) - again my memory of everything is hazy. At the end of the day it seems I was denied. I have the passport with me but there's no stamp or sticker reading DENIED and no paper saying same. This makes me thinking very hard. Many things running through my mind.

Now I want to apply for student visa and don't know how to answer the part where it asks if I have been denied visa before. How can I know if I have been denied before? Can I write or call the embassy to request for this or is there a way I can know? How best can I handle this situation. I want to do everything right.

I tried to be as detailed as possible with the hope you would be able to help me. I am sorry if it appears I am bothering you. I hope to hear from you and learn from your experience.

My sister got her visa today, on her application form she filled NO for the question if she would be going with her family. Her family intends to join her a month after she goes. Now she wants to apply for them, her agent told her she can not that it's a new rule that she has to enrol first before they can apply.

Is this true? because I did the same thing with my spouse and got my visa.
