I have not been to Uk but from what I can gather from people who are there, it is better for the main applicant to go first. Thereafter after getting your BRP and settling down, the other family members can join. If not, no matter the kind of money you take to Uk, it will finish within a week and you will be stranded. Let the main person go first, settle down, get a good accommodation first. This is my best advice.

Student visa is point based and as long as you meet up with the requirements, you are good. Landed properties are unnecessary (No harm in submitting o if you want to but not needed). As for family pictures, it's more of showing that you're in a genuine and subsisting relationship (nothing to do with home ties).

My husband and I have had previous visa denials, which we declared and on my part as the main applicant (my husband is the dependant) the reason for my denial to the US (student visa) and schegen zone(tourist) was lack of documentation to show ties to my country. So for this Uk student visa I have decided to add documentation eg landed properties and family pictures to show ties to home. I just want to be sure it’s the right thing to do and won’t cause me more harm in my application. Please anyone that understands the situation can respond to me. Thank you

Unless you are using your parents accounts, international passport is enough. I don't think you have to submit birth certificate.

If you a specifically asked to submit, affidavit should be okay

But my Agent is requesting that I prepare a Sponsorship Letter stating that I am sponsoring my wife simply because I moved the funds from my account to hers.

If you're coming in to uk this month or next month, don't board any other flight except BA or VIRGIN ATLANTIC.

That is the only option for students.

You'll not be allow to enter uk if you board a different flight except you have a transit visa.

You can either request info from UKVI (https://www.gov.uk/government/publications/requests-for-personal-data-uk-visas-and-immigration/request-personal-information-held-by-uk-visas-and-immigration) or give consent to the uni to obtain the info they need.

If refusal no be biggie, ask uni you are happy to give consent. If you however prefer to have a copy, go for the former

I think the last part of your statement is wrong. You CAN’T apply with ANY valid bank account from anywhere in the world. Check the Uk government website concerning this. You can’t use a bank account from another country that is NOT REGULATED by the financial regulatory body in the country you are applying from

I am confused myself as to why you are confused. And you never even start assignments of 2000/5000 words LOL.

I personally have used naira account when I applied from another EU country.

The rules are there for everyone to read and they are straightforward and simple as you can see clearly you are exempted if you decide to apply in naija. The attach is one of my applicants who returned to apply without doing TB and there was no issues whatsoever.

Who says you 'might' not be given visa

If you at least read on your own what the UkVI rules say and ignore hearsay and doubts. If it's Nairaland you enjoy reading , read a couple of pages back (maybe previous thread) and you will see applicants who's done the same.

You don't need to take TB test if this is your preferred choice. Make sure you state the reason why you are excluded.

Please house see what I am asking about regarding the TB. Will come back from Dubai to apply for my visa since I might not be given the visa if I apply from Dubai considering my PoF will be from a Nigerian account. So please do I need to take TB test since UAE (Dubai) isn't listed among the countries that have to take TB test and I have be here for almost 3yrs

No point to be worried....... Just do things right/legal and as we say '' insurance cova u''.......

- Get your full licence (not provisional), to drive independently
- Be truthful to your insurance company
- Drive within legal limits
- Avoid illegal parking
- Ensure your vehicle got a valid MOT certificate + road fund licence is paid
- Pay congestion charge/Ulez (where applicable)......etc

And you shall be alright.........
