descarado: Here parents especially mothers failed woefully. Why can't a man cook for heaven's sake?
Guys in my family both extended cook better than females. You must cook o. It's just a custom that men love because it means they can put up their legs and relax and magically food appears without stress. Then the men cultivate it by acting like—read pretending— they can't cut things and cook so that someone else(women) will take over and do the work for them while they relax doing nothing—mostly when women are present. The people who began that is actually some mothers, when they segregate household duties from childhood. It results in dirtier and lazier adult men, because they know they won't be the ones cleaning up or doing dishes or cooking. Everyone must cook and clean. I'm always surprised to read topics like this. How do these people expect their sons to be functional? |

You accused them of advertising hypnosis or whatever, and you've been made aware of how men indisputably do the same via Yahoo. Now, without ranting more stupidly, tell us where kayanamata is illegal, compared to the verifiably criminal nature of Yahoo under the law. If you can't do so, reasonably, shut up. |

Last time i checked, isn’t yahoo a crime? Don’t they dupe male and female?
Do yahoo boys get arrested or not? Even tho so many get away through corruption.
Do yahoo boys open shop at ALABA and make their scamming activities open?
Never you quote me if you do not have anything reasonable to say. You are the stupid sentimental one, and your post shows it. Go and arrest the women after proving their crime. |

Anything that you give to someone who makes them lose their minds where you take advantage of them and make them part with either cash or valuables which they wouldn't want to in ordinary circumstances is classified as theft!! How is it hypnosis? Where's the law for it? How can you prove it? |

Shegzy8: This is totally unacceptable. It might look funny and not hold meaning to so many people but it’s an act that should be frowned upon. Men are being hypnotized and are being required to do things out of their wish.
The society isn’t frowning at this cause women aren’t the victim. They even have the effrontery to own shops and advertise on social media cause people see it as a norm.
Just imagine men owning shops and making social media ads and awareness on products that can hypnotize women, make them do whatever you want, be at your mercy? Now imagine this and also think how the outcry would be. Aren't men already doing so with their fake Yahoo accounts and businesses they use to lure people into their own hypnotizing traps? Isn't Yahoo bring boldly advertised and bragged as a way of living? Seems men are only angry when they are the ones at the receiving end of what they do. |

People will sell what women will buy to lure men sexually without their consent openly and nothing will be done about it but let it be heard that someone is selling something to make a woman love or get sexually attracted to men, they'll term it rape and mug the place! Can you prove scientifically that it lures men? No. Then tell us how it's rape. It isn't a date rape drug. |

bodybuilder: Why do Nigerian guys always think they were rejected 'cause they're broke. Why do you have this mentality that your brokeness is your only flaw. Might be another reason. That's girl you think rejected you cause you're might even be dating someone broker than you. Sometimes you're not as broke as you think, it's just low self-esteem from comparing yourself with others.
It could be your bad looks, social awkwardness, bad hygiene, shyness and many other things.
Some guys underate the power of being good looking sha. So many girls can be gotten by just being tall and handsome, being rich is just a bonus. Because it's easier to point fingers at females and abuse them as the source of their life problems and lack of money than actually working on their massive flaws. Most of them are undesirable due to their belief that they are indispensable, that females ought to be desperate for them, that they are the prize, bad and oppressive characters, poor hygiene, failure at genuity, masochism, misogyny, huge ego and other things that strongly repel females. You can't hide these things. Way too many of them believe that money will buy them women. It can't, not even in a brothel. |

bepositive11: That's not healthy. That's codependency. True, we need support from friends and family but if being alone would drive a person to do what he did, I think it goes beyond just needing a friend. I think someone like that would need a psychiatrist How is it codependency to have someone looking out for you and you doing the same for someone else? Most depressed/suicidal people need someone who will come and talk to them anyway, listen to them and show care for them. Even psychiatrists know that and do that. What is unhealthy about that? What they need is someone who cares about them and truly cares enough to help them. Everyone needs someone at some point in their life: if not before, then later. It isn't loneliness alone that causes it, but loneliness is a contributor to depression/suicide. |

Buckeyemedia1: What business does any Nigerian so called Bishop have been amongst the richest clergy men in the world, isn’t Nigeria deemed amongst the Centre of world poverty? They write books and have merchandise that has nothing to do with their churches. People like Oyakhilome are best selling authors internationally. They have other merchandise and they get promotions from things like "travel to the holy Land" with me. Have you seen their YouTube pages with 1bn views etc? Not to mention some members just like giving them money and expensive gifts. The average Nigerian wants to curry favor from their pastor. I'm waiting for the day when I'll buy my pastor a private jet and sit at the front row. Of course you will argue that for all the donations their churches receive, where is the actual thing they did? |

Buckeyemedia1: So they won’t have to pay 10% tithes to JAH, & 39% tax to Government. Lol. They can't be running from paying tithes that alone form a significant part of the budget, can they? The funny thing is that they are entitled to tenth of all their church income and should be paying a tenth of that, too. Maybe there's an old testament clause they can rely on like the tax havens. Let us trust they are doing the right thing. |

Who said church members are very poor? Do all the deckings and people at the front rows of churches all over the world indicate poverty? It's getting clear that whatever pastors decide to do with tithes and donations is between them and their god. It's just their manner of going about it that creates suspicion. You're complaining about the Nigerian pastors. Probably because they are braggarts. Wait until you see the wealth of their mentors of the prosperity gospel in America. What will you do if those ones are exposed? |

Charmingrascal: "Seek Christ first and every other thing (Money, properties) will be added onto it"
Many of these Pastors started humbly from nothing, they were preaching the gospel of Christ when there was no monetary gain, after winning souls for Christ, God is adding other things which he promised to add and this is why their blessings keep on increasing and their coast is being enlarged.
So whoever is reading this "Seek the Kingdom of God above all else, and live righteously, and he will give you everything you need" Matthew 6:33
I am not even a born again and in most cases I will be the one to criticize Pastor but I now know better If their intentions are clear and they are so blessed, why are they setting up companies in a way that is known to be the refuge of money launderers and criminals? What is their reason for trying to hide vast wealth? Shouldn't they be proud of it? Man's worship of money. |

Let's focus on the insecurity and not "odd hours". In Lagos you see police at various points of the 3rd mainland bridge during the morning rush hour. I'm talking 7am to 9am. You know why? Because people get robbed on that bridge. Is that too suspicious location at "odd" hours? Yes. |

Traffic issues and the urge to beat traffic in lagos has exposed many to danger and increased robbers on the road cos its the best time to rob hustlers and get away with it.
Cursed set of people.
I live on the mainland and work at lekki, i leave home sometimes 5am and I'll be the only one walking to where i could get a bike to the bus stop. Every day of my life I'm always thankful and grateful to God for his protection. I understand that people need to move early, but that is the same time these people use to strike. It is good to adjust some things and avoid certain outcomes. It's unsafe for you to be out at that time and it is unfair for employers to give early working hours. Why can't they begin work later in the morning, say 9, knowing the high risk involved in causing movement at 5am? There are too many wicked people who don't even need provocation to strike. May God keep us all safe from them. |

Is there clear sunlight to see the next person at that time? No. You just feel like talking. Once there is any form of darkness these criminals strike. It is only a person who doesn't care for their safety that will move at such times in such a place. |

I don't think igbo culture is like that With those ages the man is closer to 60 now? What was wrong with your sister that at her young age she was roped in by a man on the run from the law abroad? What about his family over there? The age gap can give rise do control issues, but they both claim to be in love. Your sister is old enough to know what she wants. Maybe she loves him. But one can't explain the phone calls that can only take place in his presence, unless he is controlling her? Or they agreed that she must never pick your calls ever.
