Is it true that when a guy gives a girl too much attention, as in 100% undivided attention she takes him for granted, Whereas when a guy dosent give a girl too much attention and affection she wants him more? Or is it just some foolish words guys use in order to care less about a girl? And what i dnt also get is why do some ladies ignore nice guys who has been too nice to them and give green light to the bad boys?

your mother is your mother, whether she ran away, left you or whatever, she still remains your mother. as they were too young to understand, there may have been many issues as to why she left, that they dont know about. at the end of the day, its their choices and if they want to be bitter, then they certainly can, but it sure wont help their family one bit.
everyone makes mistakes (if mistake there was), and everyone deserves a second chance, EVERYONE! as they say:"to err is human, to forgive is divine"
MR Brown my man, "your mother is not your mother o".

The sentiment we attach to motherhood is mostly earned after birth. Anyone can incubate a baby.

Compared to what a true mother does, birthing is merely 1%.

This happened to me April this year, I wanted to subscribed to airtel android bundle 2k for 3gb, using quickteller to buy airtime, I mistakenly input a wrong number, after the transaction I got my debit alert and I was expecting to see my credit next on my phone, after waiting for 5mins I decided to check the number I sent the credit, to my greatest surprise it was a wrong number, I typed 8 instead of ?. I quickly dialed the number to plead but the number was switched off, I sent a txt msg begging the owner of the sim, I also called airtel customer Centre and they confirmed the 2k credit is there but they can't do nothing about it and I should be praying the owner of the sim activate the line back and he/she is kind enough to return it. this yeye number have been switched off since then, even till this moment. na so my money enter Bush ooo!!!!

In addition to what some of the posters above have said...

If it was a case of use & dump - by the guy, then she'd still be longing for this guy...and you know what.

Additionally, this guy will always be in your relationship because they have a baby together.

The child might never accept you as his/her dad, even if you give both arms.

And finally, the biggest one: being used for your finances. Raising children is resource intensive. There's nothing smarter than finding a sucker to help her raise him/her.

If you can tolerate these; goodluck.

Please let me know the following:-

1. The logic behind smart kids being more difficult to educate.

2. The logic behind dumb kids being easier to educate.

Thank you.
A smarter kid is not usually content with answers to the current lessons/questions.

They tend to ask you a lot of ancillary questions relating to the topic at at hand. And then lots of WHY questions too.

"But why?"

And given they are kids, albeit smart ones, you still have to explain at their comprehension level. Something you can't do very well if you don't have, at least, a basic mastery of the subject.

How on earth will smart students create more problem for a teacher?.

If anything, a class full of smart kids would make teaching easier for teachers as they'll have less to explain, since they don't have to spend much time dealing with everybody's ignorance.
You might want to take that back...

Hi NL's, I need sound and matured advice on this situation.
I am from Edo state(Auchi) and my Fiance hails from Delta State(Urhobo). We've been dating for over 2 years now, then just sometimes ago, I decided to take her home to see my parents.
They asked about her background and I told them everything, only to meet the stiff reasons of 'don't bring her home' because;
1. Our stars does not align
2. Coz she's Urhobo
3.That is not my wife.
Most of my achievements for the past 2 years has been based on the support we have for each other, she means so much joy and gladness to my heart.
What should I do? Coz I have confronted my parents several times but they refuse to see her. What should I do PLSSS!!!!
Do as your parents say, since you are going to marry them.

Religion can be a very big challenge when not properly understood. Which GOD does the Church of Christ worship and which GOD does Winners Chapel pray to?

I think it is high time we stepped out of the boundaries of our religions and step into the reality of the existence of GOD. Some people are for Apollos, others for Peter and some for Paul, is Christ divided?

I am a catholic to the core, but I have books and tapes from Oyedepo, Benson Idahosa, Johnson Suleiman, Fr. Mbaka etc. And each day I grow in grace and anointing.

So what am I saying, you guys need to understand that GOD is the same, working through different men of GOD according to their gifts and ministries. Agree on the church both of you will be attending, whether Winners of Church of Christ.

If you cannot agree on a simple thing matter as this, then perhaps you are not meant for each other. I will not advise you to attend separate churches, because a family that prays together lives together.

In other news, if not for the poster above me, I would have been FTC embarassed. Others are buying gifts for their loved ones on this boxing day, he is buying space on NL angry.

Toks2008:
Have you always wondered why some people are quick to say "i don't want to talk about it" whenever a new person in their life asks why they broke up with an ex?

I guess most times people who are quick to waive the discussion might just have something sensitive they do not want to share because in many instances we tend to allow the feeling of initial gragra cloud our sense of reasoning and just fall in love with someone who was really a nightmare to his or her ex(es) no wonder why many companies ask for letter of reference from your past employer or someone that can really vouch for you.

My advice to ladies or guys who seem to lose their sense of reasoning due to "desperation to get married" is to calm down and do serious research on whoever they want to settle with.I believe if we all imbibe the culture of insisting that we speak one on one with an ex of our potential new partner or dig into their past,we will save ourselves unpleasant surprises and avoidable heart aches.

This is not just about believing whatever he or she tells you due to the decietful nature of people but its about making a thorough due diligence by speaking to a friend,neighbor,sibling,co-worker or even the ex of that person just to have a good picture of who you are about to commit yourself to.

I know this sounds funny but i believe its reasonable and this is the secret of long lasting marriages of our parents because in those days, they don't joke with due diligence up to the generations of the great grand parents of the potential spouse..lol!.

Many men have lost their lives indulging with married ladies who lied to them that they are single as well as many men losing all they ever worked for to a dangerous gold digger as well as evil ladies and many ladies have ended up getting deeply involved with a married man or even a notorious guy without having a clue.

No matter how seemingly innocent and responsible that guy or lady may look outwardly, trust me on this,it is always better to scrutinize the past of any new person we want to start a real affair with because when it comes to character, more often than not, humans are like leopards who never change their spots

Hope this makes sense.
I concur.

One needs to know the Ho facts.

Romance › Re: Marrying A Single Mum With Two Kids, Right Or Wrong? by BuddhaPalm(m): 2:57pm On Dec 26, 2015
A single mum has already shown extremely poor decision making.

And in her case: twice.

Also, remember she'll not just be into you, for you, but also for her kids (dare I say, possibly primarily).

She needs someone to help her raise her kids - other men's kids - the bulk of this responsibility being financial.

Additionally, when a woman wants you, she will put up her best behavior. So if there's a way you can, find out how she behaves normally, because what you see now is mostly theater.

I do not mean to discourage you, but this is what I will tell a brother. You are about to make a big decision, so diligence is adviced.

No matter how much you love animals,an animal is an animal, less than a foetus, less than a human.an animal will always be an animal, nothing more!

A Dog's Loyalty
.

"The soldier, I realized must have had friends at home and in his regiment, yet he lay there deserted by all except his dog. I looked on unmoved by battles, which decided the fate of nations. Tearless I had given orders, which brought death to thousands, yet here I was stirred, profoundly stirred, stirred to tears. And by what! By the grief of one dog."

-----------Napoleon Bonaparte (on finding a dog beside the body of his dead master, licking his face and howling, on a moonlit field after a battle. Napoleon was haunted by this scene until his own death.”)

Or this...

Man’s Best Friend: The Story of Old Drum

All across America, courthouse lawns are decorated with various statues. There are statues of pioneers, politicians, war heroes and dogs. Dogs? Well, there is at least one statue of a dog, and it stands in front of the Johnson County Courthouse in Warrensburg, Missouri. Who was that dog? Sadly, he wasn’t a celebrity in his own lifetime, but in death, he was the subject of one of the most significant courtroom battles of the Old West. I’m talking about a very special dog named Old Drum, and his story will bring a lump to the throat of anyone who ever loved a dog...

(I've skipped some paragraphs, to cut to the meat. You can read the full story here.)

One evening Old Drum did not return home. That was the same evening that, according to Hornsby, he had instructed his nephew to shoot a stray dog with corncobs. Yet, the following morning, a bullet ridden Old Drum was found dead and the events that followed became a courtroom drama that lasted for years...

The “Man’s Best Friend” Defense

On the final day of trial, George Vest didn’t really present closing arguments, for very few people could argue with what he said. Instead, he offered up what has become known as the “Eulogy of the Dog” speech. He stood in front of the jury and he spoke the words that cut directly to the heart of dog lovers everywhere:

“Gentlemen of the jury: The best friend a man has in this world may turn against him and become his enemy. The son or daughter that he has reared with loving care may prove ungrateful. Those who are nearest and dearest to us, those whom we trust with our happiness and our good name, may become traitors to their faith. The money that a man has, he may lose. It flies away from him, perhaps when he needs it the most. A man’s reputation may be sacrificed in a moment of ill-considered action. The people who are prone to fall on their knees to do us honor when success is with us may be the first to throw the stone of malice when failure settles its cloud upon our heads. The one absolutely unselfish friend that a man can have in this selfish world, the one that never deserts him and the one that never proves ungrateful or treacherous, is his dog.

“Gentlemen of the jury: A man’s dog stands by him in prosperity and in poverty, in health and in sickness. He will sleep on the cold ground, where the wintry winds blow and the snow drives fiercely, if only he may be near his master’s side. He will kiss the hand that has no food to offer, he will lick the wounds and sores that come in encounters with the roughness of the world. He guards the sleep of his pauper master as if he were a prince. When all other friends desert, he remains. When riches take wings and reputation falls to pieces, he is as constant in his love as the sun in its journey through the heavens.

“If fortune drives the master forth an outcast in the world, friendless and homeless, the faithful dog asks no higher privilege than that of accompanying him to guard against danger, to fight against his enemies, and when the last scene of all comes, and death takes the master in its embrace and his body is laid away in the cold ground, no matter if all other friends pursue their way, there by his graveside will the noble dog be found, his head between his paws, his eyes sad but open in alert watchfulness, faithful and true even to death.”

There was no mention of evidence. For that matter, there was no mention of Old Drum! There didn’t need to be. Hornsby was found guilty and Burden was awarded $50 plus court costs.

Romance › Re: I Was Almost Love Charmed By A Bini Babe.... End Of My Infidelity . by BuddhaPalm(m): 11:31am On Dec 26, 2015
Eddygourdo:
My strong and unwavering belief that babes ain't loyal and never will be has always fueled my cheating ways, but today I realised I love my bae above all else and should start considering a change of lifestyle.
I remember giving this tall, pretty bootilicious babe a lift many months ago as I approached lagos from Benin - ore axis. The mere fact she told me she was a bini babe scared me a bit but I ignored my reservations and we had a little fling here and there.
I noticed she was too serious about me though, always calling, always professing love and all that nonsense, I really hated it cos I have always told myself my infidelity is strictly on a sexual basis never emotional, i love bae and my heart is emotionally taken, and to be truthful I refused to stop meeting up this lady cos she is receptive to the weirdest things in bed (fisting, backdoor , etc) but after this morning I realised that all the sex in the world can never replace the one you truly love and care about.

After we met up, and got down to our usual evil, she threw that useless female blackmail shot "do you really love me or you just using me" as stupid as I was I proceeded to give her a long sermon on how we just friends with benefits, how I love my gf, blah blah blah, she listened attentively while smiling sheepishly. Next thing this lady asked me to close my eyes if I at least care for her, i initially refused once she refused to explain her reason, but since i must finish this business to watch Louis van gaal disgrace my team by 1pm I had to agree, I closed my eyes thinking a kiss was coming, when u didn't feel a presence, I gently opened one eye and to my greatest shock, lol and behold this lady with with a weird feathery object in her hands and a palm frod between her lips, I jumped up in fright, she said I should cool down, that she would only touch my forehead with it and it would hurt only but a little and she would kiss the place for the pain to stop, I went hysterical, I wanted to kill her till I realised my name is on the hotel register, I was mad, I wanted to beat her up, she kept saying she loves me and if only I can allow her I will realise I love her too, I dressed up as fast as I could amidst her tears from fear I was going to physically attack her, I ran out of the room, while I sat in the car port, I realised had I not opened my eyes, maybe I would have been love struck to a stranger and lost my bae for ever, I realised I don't care about the sex or my need to reassure my manhood by sleeping with strangers, for the first time in my life I felt bad for my infidelity, I am at home now with the light in my life, and I realise what I almost lost to the craziness of a bini girl, guess I need a strong new year's resolution, terrible boxing day morning.
