Romance › Re: Can A Woman Ruin Or Make A Man by C2H5OH(f): 7:07pm On Apr 10, 2009
Definitely. That's why being in a relationship should not stop you from thinking rationally about the actions surrounding your relationship. If you start noticing that you are being treated like a donkey or taken for a ride, it's best to address the issue or quit the relationship. If you try addressing the problem and he/she is indifferent to what you have to say, just move on.
Romance › Re: My Girlfriend Just Dumped Me With An Email by C2H5OH(f): 6:59pm On Apr 10, 2009
The line that stands out to me: You don't want to be used like a Love Machine. Since you already know what you want, why are you still going bananas over a casual sexual relationship of 2 weeks? You started developing feelings, she didn't. She doesn't respect you enough to dump you in person. Is this the kind of girl you see yourself with? She doesn't sound like a keeper to me.
Christianity Etc › Re: What's Wrong With Marrying Someone Of A Different Denomination? by C2H5OH(f): 9:16am On Apr 09, 2009
Contrary to what Mr. Seun has said, love is not just an "emotion", it is just commonly accompanied by strong feelings.

Loving relationships wouldn't survive on mere "emotions"; it's deeper than that .

Romance › Re: Does True Love Really Exist? by C2H5OH(f): 8:53am On Apr 09, 2009
True love,  it doesn't even have a universal definition.  Everyone has their own idea of what true love is, so I guess it all exists in your funny little mind.  You can continue in search of it until you find it.  Some are fortunate enough to find a close match, others are not so lucky.

Loving, being in love, and remaining in love with a romantic partner require so much dedication, action, hardwork, and patience. It's not just going to be handed to you on some diamond platter labeled as "true love" .
Romance › Re: 190,pls I Am Truly Sorry.forgive Me by C2H5OH(f): 8:33am On Apr 09, 2009
190 quit being a mark. Swallow your pride and away with your bride.

I think he's doing this to punish you. He probably misses you a lot. Try ignoring him for some time. He will come around.

heartbreak is not hatbrake o. there are varying degrees of heartbreak. in fact, there are those that linger on for many months, with the wound still fresh in your heart -- like it happened yesterday. And there are those that kinda go away after a week tongue .

Christianity Etc › Re: Dear Atheists: Is Religion Necessary For Morality by C2H5OH(op): 9:50pm On Apr 07, 2009
You get your morals from your parents? Where did your parents get their morals from?

You make it sound like morality has a divine origin.

Common sense is not enough to distinguish right from wrong. As noetic said, societal norms are not a standard measure for morality.

Just curious.

I'm sorry, I think I lost track of your purpose.  Are you concerned about the meaning of being "in love", or are you looking for some answers about your lost love?
Romance › Re: I Have Problem Dealing With My Wife's Past Relationship by C2H5OH(f): 8:31pm On Apr 04, 2009
I agree with what viperman said. She's immature and selfish. To disrespect you to your face like that is rude and out of place. You might want to reconsider this relationship.
