We know that there is something called family meeting or community meeting or village meeting. In that meeting things concerning the welfare of the people are discussed and there is joy and peace among the people. Fulani people operate freely in Katsina state, which is the home state of the president without fear or respect. In Lagos okada operators in Festac, Mile 2 and Agboju areas openly boast that they are the ones in power and can act with impunity and without fear or hinderance. Seeing and hearing that the name of responsible Fulani people is dragged in the mud by some evil and vicious elements among them, can something very drastic not be done to salvage their name by the decent and responsible ones? Can Mr. President not ask for a family/community/village meeting where these issues can be discussed and sorted out? Can he not find a way of calling Fulani village chiefs and leaders to speak with their rampaging youths? For how long can the rest of the country keep bearing this massive killing and destruction of other people’s properties? Are they waiting for these wicked young men to start off a war in this country? When pushed to the wall other people should be expected to take protective steps and not be blamed. |
ObiOfOnistha:You are an armchair analyst and muntula. Why not face what currently faces you? Surely you will not be man enough to fight back. Jagbajantis intete. |
xProfx:One cannot understand why Lagos is still the way it is. After the ouster of Ambode things appear to have stagnated. |

Very arrogant Igwe. The community too is small. He battled to get there. If not for arrogance how would he say “a mere Chief”? When he was a Chief did he look at himself as a mere chief? Jagbajantis intete! |
PussyKing:See muntula |
Xscape1993:Why did you allow the simple truth pain you so much? |
bolaayenimo:Why don’t you have JTF in Abuja? |
helinues:How can you identify a “miscreant” if you are not one? Maybe you even learnt it and added it to your vocabulary, believing it to be good language. |
Hongkog:Ignorance is a disease as they say. Surprisingly some people, seeing the trail of death and destruction left by corvid19 still live in the land of illusion and succumb to the deception of a few greedy and crooked leaders. Have you been to hospitals to confirm? Even if you have not been to hospitals, do you not use your phone to check what is happening around you? Yaya Bello has been deceiving the gullible and making irresponsible pronouncements, confusing his already bewitched followers. Who says there is no corvid in Kogi state? Do you know how far that governor has gone to conceal the facts on ground? Why is he collecting from the corvid account? Why are medical doctors leaving Kogi state in droves? Donald Trump deceived himself and refused out of his ignorance and foolish pride to put proper protective measures in place. He said there was nothing like corvid. He refused to wear the nose cover, etc. Did he not end up getting infected? In the end he infected those around him? As the president he got the vaccine before everyone and he was quickly treated. Did he not start wearing the nose mask thereafter? What did that have to do with the mainstream media? Kogi does no testing because the governor pretentiously conceals facts. Do not allowed yourself to be fooled like this by the likes of Yaya Bello. |
Queenlovely:Wait o, so you fit get mind to ask policemen to raise up their hands make you first search dem before dem search you? That na play abi you wan pose? All those police officers at Oluku junction, Benin city, na dem work. That’s how they bought all the jeeps they claim to have an houses they built. They extort 150K from their victims. Sis, abeg you get mind o! No play that play o. |
As if we did not know. Bewitchment was used to get their blind supporters. |
madmohamed:Wicked man! |
Blackdisciple:Thanks for the clarification. Thanks for being decent with your response. Have a good evening. |
dadavivo:Very childish comment |
Blackdisciple:And thankfully so. The Igbo culture accommodates it and it a very good cultural behavior. Maybe your comment was meant to be a sort of mockery. Maybe you are too young to understand what unplanned pregnancies are. Hopefully you do not get into such situations. As for the baby, he/she already has a father. By the culture, the man becomes the father of the child and the child will bear his name only. The absconding/irresponsible young man can no longer turn around to claim the child. That serves as lessons to young men who think they can impregnate ladies and abandon them. Many years ago a Yoruba young lady (with due respect to our Yoruba brethren) abandoned her child in a day care center and went away. When the child was 24 and already graduated the silly lady went in search of the child. This woman who was already married could not conceive and get another child. The so called child had been adopted that same year and refused to ever acknowledge her biological mother. These things happen everywhere irrespective of tribe and religion. We need to learn to handle these situations with greater understanding. |
Queenlovely:Thank you so very much. Luckily for the young woman the husband by culture has become the father of the baby to be born. Nothing will ever change it even if the child grows up and is told by anybody about the circumstances of his/her birth. The child already has a father, no matter the age of the man. The child will bear the name of the child. On nairaland you find too many young people with no experience, ready to judge others. I can bet that there are too many here who have found themselves in this same situation and yet the play the ostrich. Such a move can only be done by people who know what it is. |
Where are the arrested bandits? Must the police always end their stories by saying “escaped with gunshot wounds”? Why are they not able to arrest bandits with gunshots wounds? Or do they simply disappear? |
Tunde835:Mrs. Williams |
But by the way dem born the boy to call police for I’m papa for Nigeria? Police go first reset the boy brain before anything. Person no fit flog im pickin in peace again? |
How much please? |
Reno Omokri should read Proverbs 20:1; Isaiah 5: 11; Isaiah 5:22; Leviticus 10:9; Judges 13:4; Proverbs 23:31. These people should not pick bible verses without insight just to serve their self centered purposes. |
Very insultive. It is a very big shame on our security agents that bandits always kidnap them this way so easily. One will always ask why it is so hard for our army to wipe out banditry from this country. Do the military people benefit financially from banditry? So the police have to pay ransom too? Some kidnap victims have given stories of how the police handed over ransoms to kidnappers. Dasuki faces charges of sharing money meant to purchase military equipment. What about sums appropriated by the present government to root out boko haram from our country? What is wrong with this country? Why can the citizens get of this country not experience some peace of mind. Traveling on the roads has never been so bad. |
I don’t believe this government has the political will to end boko haram/herdsmen. Remember the president famously said “an attack against boko haram is an attack against the north”. Can anyone tell us why the Nigerian army, with the advantage of men and equipments cannot set targets and locations to decisively deal with and completely wipe out those evil people? I strongly believe that certain persons in the north benefit from the lingering crisis . |
tobechi74:People like you in the local parlance are called born throway. If this was a Muslim thread would you have dared to make such a foolish comment? Truly you are a born throway. |
edoairways:No vex abeg. Na something cause am. Abi I go give you sacrifice? |
Na so APC dey do. |
Kachills:“Those of us at Trump’s speech never made it to the attack”. So you were on ground? Who incited the people? Oga why beat about the bush? Since Trump lost the election, has he stopped calling the election fraudulent? Did Trump incite his supporters or not? Has Trump stopped inciting his supporters or not? “Those of us at Trump’s speech never made it to the capitol”. What did you want to achieve at the capitol if you got there? “By the time we made it round to the capitol”. What was your motive? Who made you go there? What has CNN got to do with it. The same news is shared by Fox, Aljazeera, BBC, etc. Go and check. Do you have more information than all the news channels? Maybe you do not read what you say. You keep letting us know by your comments that Trump and co. incited the people. Take your time there! Don’t let me use edoairways night flight to get to you and give you a solid back hand sounding. |
Please I will call you to discuss further. Thanks. |
What about the the refineries? This government promised to fix the refineries. When will they do so? Failure everywhere. |
