When Covid-19 finally disappears that's when we will start hearing Boko Haram again! It clearly shows that Book Haram is just political.

I wish him great health Insha Allah

a very liberal Emir, who welcomed Atiku with crowd and even allowed Sowore audience in his palace when they all came to campaign in 2019, telling them how they lack power supply and proper security

He once ordered Abba Kyari to stand up from a chair meant for VP Osinbajo at a function and lambasted Kyari never to try such breach of protocol anywhere he is

.
Hmmm hmmm, Ok.

In all honesty, carrying load is not the first thing that comes to mind
You still haven't answered the question!

You find it very easy saying what doesn't come to your mind but the question is "What is the first thing that comes to your mind"?

I get your point but get mine too.... even in Nigeria children are now taught same sex marriage just as they are taught polyandry, but they are also reminded that these forms of life styles are not accepted here in Nigeria. What that author of that text book did was generalize that is he is using is office to tell anybody who reads that textbook that the main purpose of the head is for carrying load. He is right and wrong at the same time. Right in that in some areas in Nigeria and the world that is true but wrong in that this is not a general thing. More reason he could have written something that is generally accepted worldwide while making reference to what is accepted in different areas and localities.
Get the text book and read the objectives of the book.

Olodo, you ve never been to the four walls of classroom before

At that stage, they ve already known sense organs and their functions even from verbal reasoning. So brain and its function is the least of their worries
If your 4years old boy ask you where you got his 1month old sister from, I'm sure you will have a simple answer for him. You're not going to teach him what reproduction is all about. That's what the author has done.

I think all the people that think the author is wrong need to read the objectives of the book. And most importantly, they need to know what teaching is all about.

Look at this simple mathematics and how we were thought at various levels

(a) 3 - 5 = They simply told us "impossible" at Pry 1, maybe up to Pry 2.

(b) 3 - 5 = They later told us "you borrow 1" from the number in the front and 3 magically turns to 13! Its comprehensible for Pry 3 upward, but could easily confused a pry 1 pupil.

(c) 3 - 5 = -2 Wow, they told us it minus 2! You can bet you will fry a pry 1 brain dead by trying to explain that.

I hope you get this simple analogy. Curriculums are made to suit age brackets. And as we grow, it is gradually expanded, explained better and corrections made to erroneous concept where necessary.

There are a lot of things I learnt in secondary school that had to be corrected at Tertiary level. Not that they couldn't teach us in secondary school, but that's where the curriculum limits them for that level.

Life is in stages. We crawl >>>stand >>>walk>>>run>>>fly. Various lessons will be learnt at each stage!

Also I want people to know that wearing of mask isn't enough, avoid touching railings and resting on surfaces.
Avoid touching facial openings and wash /sanitize your hands very frequent.

I think you are the shallow one here who has clearly refused to reason!

1. Why is Bill Gates (a college dropout with no medical background) suddenly the spokesperson for global health?
2. Why is the vaccine (which we have no idea of it's long term effect) being pushed to be mandatory?
3. Why is Bill Gates pushing for digital identification of those who have been vaccinated (ID2020)?
Do you have a solution to this Pandemic and future ones? Those are Bills views/perspectives. When someone puts an idea or a proposition forward, don't just disregard or axe it down without stating what options/solutions you have. Respect his views. They are his views. He's not enforcing it on anyone. If the government of the world buy into his ideas, he's still not at fault.
Romance › Re: Her Parents Rejected Me Because I Am A Polytechnic Graduate by CaptainFM1: 10:23pm On May 02, 2020
You have a serious work to do to convince the parents. But not that difficult if the lady truly loves you.

First, don't portray yourself cheap anymore to them. Sit your woman down and find a way she can help you convince her parents. Often times, its a simple threat most parents put forward to see how you will handle it.

Let her find a voice that her parents harken to. Seek their assistance. But they also will require strong conviction. You will need to put your best foot forward if necessary.

If you survive the hurdle and could make them to approve you, trust me it would be the best thing that would ever happen to you.

There is a way the internet data can be regulated.
If you're using wifi or even your network's internet, it can be set up in such a way that materials for certain ages cannot be accessed online unless you as a parent authorise it.
Same way you put child protection locks on your DSTV etc.which ensures children can only have access to age appropriate content.
Accessing pornography is not an excuse at all, as it can be boycotted.
If those regulations are not already in place on these telecommunication companies, now is the time to put such regulations .
That's good. It's welcome then.
Romance › Re: She Said She Can't Marry Me Because I Am A Tailor by CaptainFM1: 4:45am On Apr 29, 2020
ProfDview1:
There is this lady I like so much, even my friends know that I like her so much and will love to spend the rest of my life with her.

One day, I saw her with my friend and I later asked her why she is so close to my friend. She said they are dating each other, that she cannot marry me simply because I am tailor.

My friend is a yahoo boy, he doesn't have any work. The only way he eats is via internet scam. To be honest I was so pained, moreover she is not the only lady to have done this to me. Have met several ladies that told me that they can't marry a tailor and they end up dating yahoo Boys for my street.

They always tell me to leave my tailoring job and go hustle like my frnds to make cool money.

Guys, I am tired.. Should I leave the tailoring job and join my friends to do the yahoo stuff?

Girls keep rejecting me up and down and I am fed up.

Pls advise me
What advice are u seeking? Do you want to end up behind bars?
Is a good name no longer better than riches?

School portals routinely block access to unwanted websites. Parental controls also achieve the same on individual devices. These tools have been available forever. As for harassment and bullying, the risk is no greater than when a kid takes public transport or walks to school and interacts with the public on daily basis. The tools I described above prevent access to any unapproved sites and shield from unwanted interactions. I understand your concerns, but know that online schooling is not a nouveau idea. It has been practiced for a long time in other countries (and even Nigeria) even before the lockdown happened.
We should blame the government for everything. This Covid-19 really expose all the rots in the system. The government will still not learn even after covid-19 has gone.

If you can Afford to send your kids to a school that pays over 250k per term, then you shouldn't have complaints about devices and power you need for the online classes. Only High cost schools would offer this, so Lagos state government should leave them alone
How about the vices that comes with the use of technology? U refuse to comment on the part that kids may be exposed to pornographic contents, harassment and bullying. Its a serious fact. Money isn't everything!

Not yet,all the staff came out before the fire escalated. But they couldn't go near because it was the truck delivering fuel that caught fire. They hard a very extinguisher but the guy was too far from the fire. So the fire spread to the underground petrol safe, which made everyone to loose hope and run
If it's the underground fuel tank that's burning, all they need to do is to close the lid. Once air is out of the equation, the fire will dissipate.
